Two of us had a late (11:15) breakfast at Eggs-Cetera this morning. We chose the restaurant as it is always busy and had good reviews. It was absolutely the WORST breakfast either of us had had. We both ordered the egg/pancake/bacon combo. The eggs were fine but the pancakes were tough, tasteless and looked like they had been cooked earlier and reheated. This is one of my favorite local stops for breakfast/lunch on the weekends. It's on the corner of a super busy plaza, so parking can be a little difficult on the weekends. I normally also get breakfast, and their omelettes, corn beef hash, and eggs benedict have all proved to be delicious and consistent. My husband and I were both craving a turkey club sandwich and decided to finally stop in for lunch. We both for the club, mine on wheat and his on white, with regular and sweet potato fries. Our food came our super quick, and was DELICIOUS. There was an up-charge for the sweet potato fries, which came out a little under cooked, but my husbands regular fries were AMAZING so it was hard to be upset. We also get great service here, and food is always par for the course. I would highly recommend you making this part of your weekend breakfast/lunch routine. read more

The place is very busy but the tables come and go quickly. The food was delicious! I'm not a big egg person but I had to try it and it was really good. Never had an omelette so tasty and fluffy. Ok - 2 years living here and finally a fantastic breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant! The portions are wonderful, the toast was delicious-on thick sliced bread. Great variety on the entire menu, including alcohol I had an omelet and my friend had a spinach pie platter, which was so good I ordered one to go. Claudia our server was very attentive and warm! The outside tables are cool even in 90+ temperatures, which blew me away. I live 9 miles away but will be here again and again with a friend or a book. Very excited to find this gem!! read more

Wow is all I can say. First time here and this it was great. I'm came with my family and we all order different dishes. The portion sizes are huge so be prepared to have left over. I must admit that I read through all of the negative reviews first, and most just seem like complainers. I have been going to this restaurant since they opened and I have always had great food and service! Between myself and family, I've had the opportunity to try an array of their dishes and they have all been wonderful. There was no one to outside to add you on a waitlist. If you go inside to even add yourself onto the waitlist, they will tell you to go bank outside because "there isn't space for people inside". Ridiculous. On top of that, service there was horrendous. It took these people ONE HOUR to get our food out of the kitchen. I had to flag someone down to even ask about the status of our food. On top of that, the waitress got my order wrong. Didn't comp it, didn't do anything. She said she would give us a discount. She literally just took off $2.00 from the total. When asked how long my correct order was going to take, she said "our kitchen is really busy right now, so your order would be out in the back". Really shit service if you ask me. Overall, food was mediocre for an hour wait. Definitely not worth overall. I'd advise to go elsewhere. They'll probably have better service than this place ever will. read more

I love this place. It is a breakfast spot my family and I come to often. They are located in Pinewood Square off Lantana rd in Lake Worth, FL. There is always parking, and the wait is usually not long. Every meal I have tried here has always "hit the spot" and the prices are great. Every time I bring a new person here they are always satisfied! Fresh fruit, fresh smoothies, delicious pancakes and waffles, accompanied by a nice presentation! Give them a try! I've given this place many many chances but this was the last time I go there. I got the South West Omlette and it was over cooked, very very small and tasted awful. The bottom of the omlette was brown and overcooked. But here's the kicker, they'll charge $10-15 on an omlette and use vegetables from a can. Not fresh vegetables, but from a can. While visiting my Aunt in Lake Worth she said she a perfect spot for us to go grab brunch. We arrived and I was honestly impressed with the infused water station right up front on the patio. We ordered our food, she had the seared ahi tuna salad, I had the lobster omelette, my cousin had the seafood omelette, and the other cousin had the steak and eggs. I also ordered the calamari for the table. It took a moment but the appetizer finally came out. Although the calamari was fried perfectly it lacked any flavor or seasoning. And I don't know about you but..... bland seafood isn't uhhhh the greatest. We put some salt and pepper on it and kept pushing. When my meal came out I was quite excited! Lovely size pieces of lobster were in the omelette. ( a little confused how you could have extra slice of fruit as your side when the complimentary slice was a small sliver) Nevertheless! I dug in! I requested hollandaise sauce on the side because I am not a fan. I tried it and well, once again bland. No flavor at all! And honestly unflavored seafood especially in an omelette is gross. I got the waitress apologized and asked if I could order something else. (I got the corned beef hash... AWESOME) shortly after my aunt was picking with her salad and kept inspecting her ahi tuna. I noticed that it was barely seared but she also said it was fatty and chewier than she would like to eat. ( mind you this woman always eats seared ahi tuna so I would consider her a professional). She then informs the waitress and sends it back. (Sidenote she had the lobster bisque to start with so she wasn't gonna starve or anything... which was delicious if I might add!) Soooooo as we are sitting and eating the manager (I'm assuming because i would hope an owner wouldn't come out like this) comes out. And very aggressively says "ok guys what's the issue here?!" My aint begins to talk but he talks over her (with her plate in his hand) and says I'm already losing $25 worth of food with the omelette but now the tuna?!" And he was looking at my cousin. My cousin spoke and said well the omelette wasn't seasoned but we ordered something else... and the tuna it's not seared. He then gets angry and loud and starts telling us that we clearly don't know what seared is . Finally my aunt has to speak louder and say "the tuna was my dish and it was not seared properly and was quite fatty ... " he gets angry and blurts back "fatty?! We have the best ahi tuna!" He turns and storms off. When I say I was shocked! I have worked in the food industry and one thing I have never seen is a manager lose his or her cool with a customer... it was embarrassing to be yelled at by staff in front of the whole restaurant. And to tell the truth the cousin with the seafood omelette admitted that hers was bland but she just drenched it in the sauce... So not only are they lacking seasoning but they also have management staff that harasses and yells at a table full of women like they are beneath him. Needless to say my aunt has to find a new brunch spot... and I will not be returning. read more

Their poached eggs are extremely inconsistent. I got the eggs benedict and one egg was hard boiled and the other had yolk that was the consistency of water, it was not cooked long enough. The yolk of a poached egg should be creamy, not like water and not hard. The manager was nice enough to remake them for me, but they still couldn't fix it. If you can't poach an egg, you've lost my business. read more

The photos on the menu looks great and meat were Brown looking. When the Burger arrived, the meat looks white and didn't seem to be cook the right way.
