The food was good, but it was the worst service I ever experienced. Due to the reviews I decided to give this place a try. The waitress took our order and never checked up on us. Until it came time to give us the bill. She didn't even bother to ask how our meal was, because she took the bill and threw it on our table. At first I thought maybe she did it by mistake. She took our p credit cards and did it again. I feel bad for the owners that they have such a poor of an excuse of an employee that doesn't care for her job and treats the customers as if they are doing her a favor. This place has real potential to break a 15 year streak of restaurants that didn't make it in this spot. The food is fantastic and the owners attention to detail and pleasant demeanor makes you feel at home. Omelettes, steak and eggs and pancakes all got glowing reviews from my crew. The outdoor seating with the big ceiling fans makes a suburban strip mall seem like a bit of an oasis. The wait staff is very accommodating and the owner is always onsite (I love that!) This is one of my favorite places to go. Gets very busy on the weekends so either get there early or wait until around 2:00 PM during the week. It's a bit easier. There's a reason for this. The food is absolutely fantastic. The seafood omelette can easily be shared. Everything is delicious. The service is very good outside or inside. You're going to have a wonderful meal. It wasn't bad just wasn't the most delicious thing I've ever eaten and WAY too much sauce. And the sauce wasn't all that flavorful. I would go back, for sure, because the folks like the salads and such and I think maybe I just ordered wrong for myself. But I'll go more basic and not try anything too outlandish. It was a lazy Sunday morning and the wife and I decided to go out for brunch. She had previously been to Eggs-Cetera and enjoyed the meal so we decided to go there. It was a very sunny day and about 70 degrees but it was windy ( gusts up to 15-20 MPH ) so it was a bit chilly but still comfortable. As we approached we could see that there was a line waiting for a table. Stepped up to the hostess stand and checked in. 30-40 minutes we were told. "Inside or Out ?" Either we replied. It was about 20 minutes later when they called and told us that our table was ready. Excellent! Our choice of table was two that were along side of the front door next to the entrance to the restaurant. We picked a table and sat down and a server was immediately there with menus and asked if we wanted any drinks. "Yes! A Bloody Mary" and the wife had a glass of water. We looked over a large selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch food and I was having a difficult time making a selection. The server came back rather quickly with our drinks and asked if we were ready to order. My wife was ready, since she was familiar with the menu, but I hadn't gotten through the first page yet so I asked her to come back in a bit. I got through the menu and made a decision; western omelette with house seasoned potatoes, everything bagel and a side order of bacon. The bloody was delicious albeit with a whole stalk of celery and two olives on a toothpick. The server took her time coming back to make sure that we had made a decision. I ordered a western omelet with seasoned potatoes, a side of bacon and an English muffin. The wife ordered the all berry French toast. The order was a bit slow to come out but not so slow as to be too long. Everything looked great! I picked up half of the English muffin and spread a pat of butter on it and it didn't melt. Ought oh, not good. Took a first bite of the omelet and it was cold. Mentioned this to the wife and she said send it back. I was going to just accept the cold plate when the server came back and asked if everything was okay? Wife says "no, his food is cold." Server said "I'll take it back to the kitchen and heat it up." "No, thanks, I don't want you to pop it in the microwave." "Oh, no, we don't do that here." Ok take it away. She returned a few minutes later with the plate and it looked like nothing had been touched. There was still the piece of bacon that I had taken a bite out of on the plate. The server scurried off since they were so busy. I don't know how they heated anything up without removing it from the plate unless they did in fact put it in the microwave. It was barely lukewarm. The omelet had plenty of stuff in it but wasn't really enjoyable being cold. The famous seasoned potatoes left a lot to be desired. My wife enjoyed her French toast which is one of the reasons why the rating isn't lower. The other was the attention we got from the server. The food is quite good & extremely plentiful. The presentation is beautiful. I ordered the turkey club but it was impossible to eat as a sandwich since it was stacked 8 pieces high. Even divided it fell apart & the turkey was pretty sparse. French fries are delicious. My only complaint is the surly & I mean surly hostess. My friend & I are both using walkers & passing table after table she was leading us to the very end of the restaurant. I stopped exhausted & asked where she was taking us since I was having great difficulty walking. Annoyed she said we could sit where we were. Funny there was a table right where I stopped. This is the 2nd time at this restaurant & the 2nd time I noticed her surliness. She certainly was a deterrent to what would have been & was an enjoyable experience once we were seated. read more

I would give this a strong 3.5 for some great dishes and great coffee! PROS- So the coffee here is very good. I got just a regular cup of joe and it was strong, flavorful and really great. My wife had a coconut iced coffee and she thought it was fantastic. We each got a different set of pancakes I got the blueberry and my wife got the pumpkin. My wife is a pumpkin connoisseur and said that these were delicious. She said they packed in great flavor without tasting fake or artificial. They had a delicious sugar crust on top and the pecans were amazing. I got the blueberries which again had this sugar blueberry crust on top which made the pancakes delicious. They were probably in my top 10 pancakes I've ever had and that is saying something! They had great flavor, they had tons of fruit and I would definitely order them again. We also got special potatoes with cheese and bacon. These were absolutely delicious! The potatoes were well seasoned good breakfast potatoes. They coat the potatos in the rich, creamy, cheese sauce that was not like a nacho cheese or a strong cheese. It was super creamy, packed with rich cheesy flavor, and the bacon was perfectly crispy. I would definitely go back for either pancakes or the potatoes. CONS- The first downside was there was no pancake with anything option. It would've been nice to have an option like 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and toast. They don't have any option like that except to add on 2 regular pancakes(no flavors) for ($4.00) with another egg, omelet combo. I am not a fan of a place who won't allow a customer who wants to pay for an add on, but cannot. (I wanted an egg platter with blueberry pancakes and the only way to do this was to get a 8.00 egg plate and an 8.00 3 pancake plate). I love grits, but good ones are very hard to find down here and I try them almost everywhere we go. These were simply awful and flavorless. It literally tasted like we are eating lumpy over cooked bland rice. Service was OK nothing to write home about and nothing horrible. She did seem annoyed by some of our questions, but it could've been the end of a long shift. The restaurant was clean, it had plenty of staff, but I could definitely seeing it be an hour wait on the weekends with the limited space they have inside. However they do have a large patio area which helps for those busy times. The food came out within 10-12 minutes and the restaurant was about 70% full. I would definitely go back for either pancakes or the potatoes. I would also go back and try some other menu items! read more

These were some of the best pancakes I've had in my life! Huge and fluffy, it was the perfect way to start a day off. Considering the word Eggs is in the name, I'm not sure what I was expecting but the scrambled eggs were average, and the fruit was a bit dry. The orange juice isn't freshly squeezed but it was super cold and refreshing. The service was amazing! They were so friendly and the food was quick which we appreciated. We sat outdoors to enjoy the tv and fans, which was perfect for the weather. Can't vouch for the other egg items but their carb game is on point. read more

And they said to call him in the morning. You cannot close a restaurant randomly whenever you want. I have been here a few times before, always a great experience. I usually get the lobster benedict, which I highly recommend, and a mimosa., but I usually go with just my wife. Since we had 4, I decided to have the eggs benedict with a coffee. Reasonable priced ,but can get a little pricey, especially when you add lobster and mimosas. One of the best breakfast places you will find in the area. Plenty of food with all our orders, big oversized pancakes. My son took some home. Our lovely server, Patrice was wonderful.
