The food was so good here. This place has a street food aesthetic so everything looks like it's related to that when you enter so very fast casual. It's also in combination with another restaurant Jay Bhavani so both are housed in the same location and space but just have separate menus, which is interesting. We got the egg kachu, chicken Szechuan noodles, and some roti as a substitution for white bread to go with the kachu. The egg was spicy on the first few bites, which I appreciated because usually eating Indian food out isn't very spicy for our family. The egg also has a super soft texture like scrambled but softer in the curry. I will say it was really oily, and even the rotis were super buttery and oily, so beware (delicious but oily). The noodles were exactly what I wanted. They weren't spicy at all, but they remind me of childhood and have a very distinct flavor profile almost like Maggie noodles that you eat with ketchup (I know this may come off weird) but it's what I love (would recommend if you understand what I mean). Again, service here was lacking, and they didn't bring us water or anything until we asked for it, and they also don't check on you as they do in other restaurants. read more

Yes, This place has more than just egg items, but there are an abundance of egg dishes. While shopping for wedding attire for my nephews upcoming wedding, he took me to this spot. I wasn't super hungry so we split his favorite dish. Peri Peri egg sandwich was delicious to the point I wanted to order another at first bite. It was amazing, built like a club sandwich with 3 nicely toasted pieces of bread, but very light bread. Surprisingly the bread held the sandwich well in not being soggy...and it was loaded to where you needed to have a spoon as with every bite something fell out. read more

We did a takeout order from Eggmania for lunch. They have a very extensive menu with a lot of egg dishes, but also have other non-veg items. I ordered the chicken keema sandwich which was kind of like a club sandwich with multiple layers. One with chicken keema (ground chicken and spices) and melted American cheese, and the next layer with sliced tomatoes, sliced green bell peppers, and melted American cheese. You can specify your spice level - I ordered medium spicy and I think it was a very manageable spice level. Service was great. We were greeted right away and the lady helping us explained the menu thoroughly and had great recommendations. The space is very casual with lots of seating including large tables and bar seating. They do have a full bar. There is a lot of parking in the lot outside the restaurant and you can also order food from the Indian restaurant next door. The place also seems family-friendly as we saw a few families with young children there. One thing I would like to make special mention of is that we got a call as soon as we left the restaurant after picking up our food that they had forgotten to include a chapati in the bag we left with. We had just gotten to our car when we got the call and they apologized for the oversight and we were able to walk back in to get the missing item. I really appreciated them making this call to us. I have had items missing from takeout orders from different restaurants in the past and I have never before had a restaurant identify the issue - I am usually the one who notices it first after I'd already gotten home. I was very impressed with the staff at Eggmania for catching their error so quickly and alerting me to it. read more

I've been to this location a few times as well as a couple different locations in New Jersey. Love this place! I'm married to an Indian man so we eat a lot of Indian food, but we're also "eggatarian" (vegetarians who eat eggs), so this type of place is right up our alley! It's different than your average Indian curry, but is still delicious and full of flavor! My personal favorite dish is the Australian Fry - this is a tomato gravy with boiled egg slices topped with shredded cheese. So delicious! While I normally would prefer to eat my curry dishes with naan or rotis, I actually like to enjoy this particular dish with the buttered bread. It really absorbs all of the juicy flavors and the softness of the bread makes for a great texture. Tip - they recently combined themselves with the Indian restaurant that is next door, so you'll be given 2 different menus with 2 different restaurant names on them when you enter. Visited twice in one week. I'm a fan of Indian breakfast having been a regular customer of Pondicheri in the morning. There were two previous egg-centric restaurants in Houston that I was aware of, but they both didn't last too long. The first was Spicy Eggs where they didn't offer much on the menu beyond eggs and were on the much shadier part of Hillcroft north of Westpark. The second place around Highway 6, I never I went to; because it was too far of a drive for breakfast. I noticed that Eggmania opened at 11am which was later that I would expect. I guess people can do their shopping in the Gandhi district and stop in for a late one. What surprised me more was that this was not a counter service fast food restaurant. This location used to be Neetas, and it still features a bar. There are waiters that would come to your table. I mention this because I think it hampers the service. One night was a Sunday where I arrived into an empty restaurant only for two families to come in afterwards. Guess who got served first? Not this non-desi guy. With one waiter taking orders, the food took a while being in queue. I ended up ordering off the Eggmania winter menu which featured the lasun green garlic sauce. They also offered a vegetarian menu from a separate franchise, Jay Bhavani, which the waiter said was a new thing. I ordered a sandwich off of that but I guess that should be in another review. I ordered my lasun egg keema dish medium spice, but the spice overpowered the dish so much that I couldn't taste the garlic. I tolerate heat well, but that was just unbalanced. Second night was a Friday where it was busy with families. I saw two waiters that night. Both apologising to tables about the speed of the kitchen which was ominous. My food arrived on time. Again, i ordered a dish from each menu. The egg mania was an Australian fry, somewhat of a misnomer because the eggs are boiled, sliced, and then cooked in a buttery tomato gravy topped with cheese. Maybe a fry means something else in India. This time ordering the dish mild, there was minimal spice that was dominated by the butter. I did not mind this at all. That was delicious. I might even dare to get this dish raised to a medium spice level in the future given the butter and cheese. read more

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty empty - we were easily able to get a table for 6. Ambience is simple but nice. We tried the masala omelet and chicken tikka kebabs to start. And then ordered anda lahori, kali mari chicken, makhan mari murg tikka, and their mango lassi. All the curries come with toast. We also ordered some extra naan. The food was okay. I've never had an egg curry like the anda lahori -- you really have to be in the mood for some egg for these egg dishes. We asked the kali mari chicken to be extra spicy and they delivered- we were sweating! The also have a full bar and TVs with cricket playing if you're looking for a spot to watch the game. read more

Eggmania hands down has the most amazing sandwiches. So far, I have tried this franchise in Chicago, Dallas, and Houston, and they do not disappoint. My favorites are their chicken and egg sandwiches, but they have other items, too, like fried rice and Kheema pav, which are pretty amazing. We have got take out in all locations, and their delivery and packaging have been good to not allow any spillover. Definitely recommend this restaurant. This place has recently opened and is still in their soft opening phase. We heard about it from a friend and wanted to try something new. Google showed that they opened at 11:30am and we were there a few mins before their opening time, however, they didn't open till noon. The owners apologized for being late and said that they actually opened at noon and will update their hours on Google. They recommended a few dishes considering the age of my nephew and niece and so I ended up ordering their Surti gotala, which is their sunny side egg beaten with a lot of gravy and masala, their chicken masala sandwich, which had chicken, veggies, cheese and was a panini, and I ordered their cold coco that I had them split into two cups. Their cold coco is their signature drink, which is cold chocolate made with custard and they added cashews on top cuz my niece asked them to. The food was really good and they were very quick in bringing it out considering they had literally opened the door in front of us. Delicious food. Surti husband loved the surti gotala. We also had paneer bhurji and it was amazing. My favorite was the egg katori - so so so good! The place is quite modern and decorated nicely. The food here is TOP NOTCH! Me and my wife decided to dine in on a Wednesday night. She ordered a Veg Peri Peri Sandwich and I got the Chicken Kheema Sandwich. Both extra spicy. Let me tell you, the food is far beyond something I can describe. Not only does it taste homemade, but the flavors that are used in these dishes are phenomenal! I recommend trying the Chicken Kheema sandwich if you are a non-veg eater. Trust me you won't regret it. The manager/owner was so nice and was very attentive. Loved his friendly nature. The decor of this restaurant is also very witty and fun to read while eating. This place will not disappoint. Thank me later. read more

We were very happy with this place. Large menu, which means lots and lots of option for everyone. I absolutely love eggs, so picking one thing was really hard. We finally settled on a few rices, a sandwich and chicken. Absolutely everything was delicious. The food was hot and pleasantly spiced. I did not find the food too spicy, but it had enough spice. The service was great and I certainly do not mind the thick accent. To me that makes them more authentic. I certainly do not mind asking them to repeat if I do not understand. They answered all of our questions accurately and with a lot of patience(I was very hungry and it was hard to settle for one thing). It was one of the best experiences we have had at a restaurant in a while. Everything was great and while the portions looked small, looks are very deceiving. None of us big eaters were able to finish any of the food. The prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. We will be coming back for more soon. read more
