The Chic

I have been wanting to try this spot for a while. Finally had time to grab one. I ordered the chicken egg sando and tots. The sandwich was lacking a bit in flavor but was overall good and crispy, but the bun was very dense and felt like it was old bread. Was a bit disappointed because the sando was $13 The tater tots was really good very fresh and crispy. Had a good spicy aïoli. When I ordered I did it though the kiosk, and didn't really have to talk to anyone. Food came out quick. Vibe of a coffee shop very clean.

Was working at the Northside branch library and got a little hungry so I mobile ordered a sandwich from Egghead. I was excited to try the 'Scramble' sandwich. It was surprisingly tasty, not sure if it was because I was starving after depleting my energy from work, or if it was truly a mean sandwich, but one thing for sure is that it was pretty tasty! It is as simple as can be; scrambled eggs, cheese, mayo, and caramelized onions. Actually, it was the CARAMELIZED ONIONS that made the sandwich stand out from other breakfast sandwiches. It paired perfectly with the mayo and and fluffy eggs. Plus, the brioche bun was was really TASTY! It was light, fluffy, but also had a great chew! It seemed like this place had more mobile orders than in-person diners. The inside of the restaurant was clean, almost giving an "untouched" vibe. Right as you walk into the restaurant, you can order at the register, but if you mobile ordered, you need to walk a little further to the pick up area. They keep the orders behind the counter so you need to let them know of the name and order to pick your food up.

Plenty parking available with extra parking spots in the garage. First time trying this place and easy to place order with kiosk. Have both Indoor and Outdoor seating. Interior looks cool. Pretty heavy lunch for sure, may be worth to have this for brunch.

I think this place is over hyped. I was disappointed. I rate it 2.5 stars overall. Seems like to-go orders such as Uber eats and door dash take priority. There was not even a long line when I ordered. I ordered the chicken sandwich, waffle fries and strawberry matcha. I waited a long time for my food. Roughly around 30 minutes I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for my matcha. It did not come out with my order. I saw many drink offers pilled up waiting to be picked up. By the time I sat down to eat my food it has been an hour since I ordered. The bun of my sandwich was burned. The chicken was okay. Reminded me of popcorn chicken. The scrambled eggs were a little runny. Too wet for my liking. I think the sandwich would be better without the eggs. Overall it was just meh. The waffle fries were good. The standout of the meal. The strawberry matcha tasted gritty. Overpriced for the quality of the drink. The tables were sticky and dirty. I really wanted to like this place.

I wasn't sure about this spot. Everything looks very pretty in pictures, but the ratings were mixed. After trying Egghead, I kinda get it. The sandwich was decent, but it wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese they put on it, and it cost A LOT for how much food you get. The strawberry matcha was a better value, though. The restaurant itself is kinda strange. You basically don't see the staff. They are hidden off somewhere in a room in the back, prepping orders. They occasionally pop out to call out an order. It kinda makes for a strange dining experience. I'm not really sure I'd go back. I don't think the experience and quality quite justifies the price.

First time visiting this Egghead branch. It was located in the Rivermark plaza. We ordered the Ultimate Sando and Scramble Sandwich to go for a picnic. Both came with 3 scrambled eggs! The bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The Ultimate Sando also came with sausage and a generous portion of avocado slices. The sauce was creamy and a little spicy. The Scrambled Sandwich was similar to Ultimate Sando except that there was no sausage or avocado. I'd highly recommend the Scramble Sandwich if you like eggs! The restaurant was small with a few seats indoor. Ordering was self serve on the kiosk. There were a few more seats outside and plenty of parking in the plaza.

Stopped by Egghead Sando Cafe for a Saturday morning breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! left full and happy :). As a vegetarian, I was a little bummed that there was only one meatless option (the Scramble) but luckily, it delivered. The eggs were perfectly cooked and paired well with the slightly sweet brioche bun. Super satisfying. The tater tots were amazing!! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, salty, they were seriously addictive. I also tried the rose latte, which was paired well with the food, not too sweet. Ordering is done through a kiosk, so there's not much interaction with staff. Indoor seating is spacious and comfy, but outdoor tables are limited. I went right at opening on a Saturday and had no problem parking, though the lot is pretty small. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and overall it's a solid breakfast spot

Did I enjoy the eggs? Yes. Fresh and good tasting. This location at Rivermark plaza is right next to public parking lot, so it's easy to walk around. You can dine inside or outside. Self service kiosk available. Staffs are all inside the kitchen area. What I really liked was my matcha guava beverage. It wasn't overly sweet with bitter matcha like at most matcha spots. Taste was good. Most Vietnamese places making matcha beverages are too strong in matcha flavors. I can actually enjoy my guava juice with matcha here. The egghead salad I had was pretty darn good too, especially the cheesy egg and lots of arugula greens. Vinaigrette sweetened my salad which was awesome. Fresh! Yes, lots of tomatoes/cheese/bacon bits. The bacon bits were a bit too much on a salad for me though. Overall, good portion size. Vibes were quite inside. Not much noise here after 10:30am weekdays. People just grab and go. Public restroom is available. The upkeep is modern, but tables and chairs can use some cleaning and wiping down before lunch hour. Toss your own trash. Complimentary water is self service as well. Not bad. I did enjoy having a salad option since egghead sandwiches would be a bit too much for me sometimes. Guava matcha beverage was worth it.

What I like about Egghead sandos are that their serving is is that their serving size is great. For every sando their fried chicken is HUGE! Plus, it's still got the perfect crunch and juiciness inside. Yesyes. Usually I'm not a really big matcha fan, but this one changed the game. Loved the tart strawberry jam that combine well with the matcha taste. I want to add that there wasn't a lot of seating available, so I had to sit outside. The thing is, the seats and tables outside were dirty. If you go and sit outside, use wipes to wipe down all surfaces. Peace!

In the Rivermark area of Santa Clara there aren't many choices for breakfast, let alone breakfast sandwiches so Egghead Sando Cafe is worth the visit. The store is clean, vibrant and offers indoor and outdoor seating, bathroom for customers, self serve water, and self serve ordering and pick up window. I ordered the "Side Chic" sandwich: grilled chicken (a little too heavy on the season salt for me, but I'm sure others would welcome it), egg over medium, bacon, arugula, on brioche bun. It was a huge sandwich! You'll definitely need a knife to enjoy half at time. I wish plates were offered for dine-in. The tater tots seem pricey on the menu, but you get a lot! Enough for 2-3 people. The tots were perfectly hot and crispy. There's a great selection of drinks so make sure to try one with your sando. It'll totally up your experience!

The Scramble x2 and Hawaiian Morning

I've tried Egghead at the old Cupertino location before it closed down and thought it was quite good and wanted to try this location. I got The Scramble and it was solid. Eggs were fluffy and it also had cheese, grilled onions, chives, and spicy bun. I like how these are on brioche buns! Took a little while for food to come out. Handful of tables inside and outside.

This place was always our go to when we aren't sure what brunch stuff to get. The last 2 times of take out has been super meh. This last time they gave us the wrong sandwich, we got a Hawaiian but no spam, just a regular burger. And the hojicha latte was really badly watered down. We tired to rescue it with milk at home and it was not possible. Guess we'll take a break from y'all for now.

This place is still amazing! Love the egg in the jar and the breakfast sandwiches. Good location in rivermark plaza. Lots of parking.

I enjoy their gluten-free pistachio cake, but buy chocolate cookie looked enticing. Dubai chocolates are really saturating the market these days and if I'm being honest, some of the versions just aren't any good. However, knowing that the baked goods here are a great quality and based upon the look of itself I decided to give it a try. Wow! This was a perfect balance of chocolate and pistachio, made with real ingredients. The cookie had both taste a slight crunch and a moistness in the interior. For those who like to dip their cookies, dipping this into the Ube latte was definitely next level.

Fun place to try but I am not sure if I would necessarily seek it out. They have some interesting sounding drinks but if they are anything like the Lexington, the fun flavors might not really pull through. Pastries look yummy though and overnight oats were good.
