Unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. Three of the sandwiches we ordered were very bland and lacked flavor. The eggs in those sandwiches tasted off compared to the burrito--almost like they were prepared differently and had little to no seasoning. The only item that actually had flavor was the burrito, but even that came with an issue--the royal patty inside looked undercooked, which was concerning. Overall, the food was very inconsistent and disappointing. First time here and it was really good! Very friendly staff. They explained the menu and I went for the Royal burrito. It had a good mix of tater tots, grilled onions , cheese and spicy Korean patties. Really good! I got my Husky some plain scrambled eggs and she chowed down! Nice to have new places to try, but we won't be back. High prices are to be expected because of eggs. But it just wasn't good. The creamy eggs were technically edible and thankfully not the powder kind! The Sriracha aioli was good, and the tater tots were just fine. But all of our sandwiches had soggy bread and could not actually be held to eat past the box. I personally didn't get mayo because I thought it was too much. Hopefully they figure it all out being new and all. But since the eggs are the whole basis of the concept, we'll pass. read more

Stopped by Egg Tuck in Anaheim Hills kind of on a whim--and I'm really glad I did. I ordered The Original with cheese, and it was exactly what I wanted out of a breakfast sandwich. The eggs were soft and fluffy, not dry or overdone like you sometimes get. The brioche bun was buttery and held everything together without falling apart. Simple, but done really well. Also, the tater tots were a surprise hit. Super crispy, and they actually had flavor--not just salt, but legit seasoning. What really impressed me, though, was the service. Genuinely some of the best I've had anywhere. The staff gave real attention--not fake friendly, but actually warm and present. It kind of reminded me of the way you're treated at a high-end hotel. This morning I tried Egg Tuck for the firsst time. Since I was heading to the Chiro - I thought the Egg Tots would be best. They were tasty and crunchy. The only down fall was - later in the day (around 1:00), I had the worst diarrhea. Since this was the only thing I ate today - I assumed it was from the tots. With that said I prefer my tots golden brown and not dark brown and both times, that is how I received my tots; dark brown. I even added a note requesting golden brown the second time I ordered tots. After 20 min my phone buzzes it's ready for pick up. Yayyy I thought!! I go to the counter. No hello no greetings whatsoever. I say hi and the girl already looked confused then after looking at all the receipts she said my order just came in. They haven't even started preparing my order at this point. Ok not their fault it was Grubhub's fault I guess. So they said they'll make it right now. I said cool thanks!! I go outside to wait in my car. After about 10min I figured it should be ready. It's just a burrito! I get to the counter it's a different girl. I show her my phone and she looks all confused. She starts arguing saying my order is not ready and I'll have to wait another 30 min which would mean a total of almost an hour. She really thought it was ok for me to wait an hour for a fast food burrito. She never apologized and was argumentative telling me there are alot of people ahead of me. So I had to explain to her so many times that my phone said it's was ready at 12:15 it's not my fault Grubhub messed up. After arguing with me for 5 min she finally went to the back and asked them to make my order because I've been waiting for 30 min. They said ok it'll be ready in 5 min. Should have a more specific guideline for online orders for when you sub an ingredient out that says, "no scramble" that it implies you're getting a none scramble egg as offered in other products on the menu rather than it meaning you're forfeiting the ingredient entirely. This was my second visit and wanted to change up the way the egg was prepared in the sandwich because other menu items had the option but the cashier made it clear that you cannot change the signature items, they have to be scrambled and nothing else and on top of that, if you don't want the item you still pay full price no matter what. So subbing their main ingredient or any ingredient you get what you paid for. I got half an avocado slabbed between two cold pieces of toast for 11 bucks. No egg. When bringing it to their attention the least they could have done in that moment was make it right for the confusion and accommodate the request or at least ask if I wanted a refund or maybe ask if I wanted a new one with the scrambled instead of what was conveyed, that there's nothing they can do. read more
