This was my order. Very sad indeed . Most likely cause I'm not their race.

This was the very first time I ordered here . placed an order of orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. As the portion size isn't bad the quality of the food really needs improvement. I was expecting this to be a Chinese food restaurant. And no I'm not talking about 5 star chef all out meal .I mean where's the effort the sweet and sour chicken was honestly cold and looked like they just half assed the items . the only thing that was warm by the power of god was the orange chicken . Now I'm at panda"corporate job" ordering some decent food because sadly the one I ordered wasn't at the right temperature. How can this place not care about the quality of their meal. When they chose the food industry knowing it could cause harm to people if nothing is cooked or done right . Can somebody say "health inspectors" at a time like this. Before you get think "maybe he was an asshole" Why on earth would I give trouble towards anybody especially knowing that they are handling my food or anything in particular. I'm here to find a good Chinese spot to be my go to place. You can see the difference between the two photos. Unless your family or their kind of ethnicity. You'll get half the efforts

Consistently good and fast. This is not the healthiest place to eat but it will do when you have a craving for Chinese food, especially veggie egg rolls. My washing machine broke so I had to do laundry at a laundromat today. I was excited to see that I was going to get some Chinese food while I waited for my clothes. What a treat. We ordered veggie egg rolls and steamed rice. It was all freshly cooked and delicious. The location was convenient and the inside is clean with room to sit and eat there.

Great prices, fast service and lots of items to choose from. We had a Honey Garlic Chicken and a Szceshuan Eggplant plus a few egg rolls. Everything was pretty good. The fried rice needed a bit of Sriracha and soy sauce to keep it from being bland. 4 stars because the prices are reasonable enough to feed a family. Food is probably closer to a 3.25. The atmosphere is definitely fast food / dine in maybe.

I have a tradition I started in 2022 to celebrate the Lunar New Year and try a different place each year. I decided to try Egg Roll King 2. I won't be able to comment on ambiance because I did DoorDash. But they did package things well, so that will count. I also can't comment on service due to not going in person, but again, everything was packaged well. I ordered some potstickers, rangoon, wontons, hot and sour soup, and a couple of entrees. The portions, choices, and price are good. Definitely wallet friendly and satisfy appetite. The soup, ragoon, and potstickers get an 9 out of 10. They were the best part of meal. The wontons just seemed cold and limp. The sauce they provide helps with flavor. The Mongolian Beef was actually very good, just a little salty. That is about a 8.5 out of 10. The amount of veggies and onions in it were great! I got fried rice with it and that was great! The Sweet & Sour Chicken was very good, as well. Seasoned just right. The Hot & Sour Soup was great! As was the Chicken Chow Mein. I really like all the choices on the menu, so I will try some more items in the future.

11/14/22 They are NOT open today??? Its 415pm.

We discovered this restaurant last May when we were touring Spark's Asian supermarkets. Quality/Quantity - N/A - Because you were closed, but advertise that you are open 7 days a week from 11am to 9:30pm. Atmosphere - Small business. But you were closed and advertised that you are open 7 days a week from 11am to 9:30pm. Very small eating area, more of a take-out business...? Plenty of mall parking. Service - N/A - Because you were closed, but advertise that you are open 7 days a week from 11am to 9:30 pm. Price - When we discovered them, we felt the prices were extremely low, so we wanted to give them a try today. Too bad they were closed. Owner Comment - Any relation to all the other 3+ Egg Roll Kings in Reno & Sparks?

I grew up having this place and it's not bad Chinese food! The service is not bad at all either. The space is small but perfect! I wash my laundry right next door so to get something to snack on like an egg roll always makes my tummy happy!

They are prejudice, set my food on the table at the register and delivered to other races table. Sign says eggshells. 50 told me they had not changed the sign yet. Wth . Guess my race

It's been about 4 years since the last time, I tried the food here and since I was hosting about 10 people at my home, I wanted to serve something simple and cost effective. My goto for this is Chinese food. I ordered chicken chow mein and stir fried mixed vegetables. It came in two trays and enough from probably closer to 15 people. So portions were good but the total bill was between $120-$130 about what I've come to expect here in Reno. Let's just say, I've traveled to several countries in Asia and lived most of my life in Northern CA eating quite a bit of Chinese food. This doesn't make my an expert but it would be fair to say, I am quite familiar with what is considered mainstream traditional Chinese cooking. But let's get to the food, with the caveat that I realize that everyone's preferences can vary widely when it comes to food. So my opinion is based on what one would find in Hong Kong and San Francisco. The chicken chow mein had all the correct ingredients, long noodles that were slightly thicker than say spaghetti, had the correct amount of softness without being mushy. Chicken was presented in slices and appeared to be white meat, there was some white onions thrown in there for some texture and flavor. Normally when I order chow mein, it isn't served with a brown "gravy". Not that this dish was swimming in it, but think of spaghetti with tomato sauce. Replace the red with medium dark brown and you get the picture. Now my guests who are Reno locals, thought it was great and flavorful. I would agree with the flavor part but it was much too saucy for my tastes. Would I try Chin Chin again for noodles? I'm not sure but the owner did state, they can make dishes any way I like, so perhaps I'll order off menu next time. The stir fried mixed vegetables is where I was most disappointed. Let's start with the ingredients. All were sliced in 2-3 inch pieces, which included button mushrooms, zuchinni, bamboo shoots, brocolli, carrots, and onions. This dish could have passed for a savory vegetable stew. There was a lot of gravy, so much so, that it colored all the vegetables brown, except for the carrots. The sauce had a slight "twang" to it, almost vinegar or worchester-like. Not my thing, I could not taste the individual flavors of the vegetables because of how heavy the sauce was. The brocolli was over cooked where the flowerette parts were pale. I prefer my vegetables to be just cooked, almost snappy. I would not order this dish again. No comments on the restaurant itself as both times I tried it, was for take out. So bottomline, would I try Chin Chin again? Yes but I will be very specific on how I would like my order prepared. Maybe for their lunch special.

My fianceé told me about the Lemon chicken she tried for her first visit and how much she loved it! It's not her usual to to for the lunch specials, but she highly praises it. I am very happy to say that I do too now. The chicken was cooked perfectly and reminded me of chicken Katsu, light and crisp. It wasn't drenched in a gelatinous over lemony sauce either. Everything was light and refreshing, if you love lemon I suggest asking for a couple more wedges. I can't wait to have it again very soon. The entire time we were there which was about 45 minutes there were hardly any other customers for a Friday I thought it would be much more busy around lunch time. I do not believe this place deserves to be that slow on a Friday at all. I'm seriously going to be dreaming of more scallion pancakes with that sauce! The dining room and bathroom was very large and clean. Also, I really love the pictures of the food along the windows. Pictures are always very helpful. On our way out we picked up almond cookies for $2 per bag (sandwich bag ziplock). When I bit into it I was immediately transported to the Japanese tea garden in San Francisco. I have very fond childhood memories there. We always had almond cookies with our jasmine tea. Well done all! See ya on the next visit

Traditional Vietnamese or Chinese cuisine IMO, is difficult to find here compared to the Bay Area. But that's not the fault of Reno, it's just the number of asian restaurants are so much fewer here and all the produce is literally imported. My goto when checking out a chinese restaurant is their chow fun noodles. Why? The noodles are perishable and if frozen the texture becomes a bit mushy, not firm. Was the noodle fresh, yes but with the cavet that it was probably imported day or two earlier. There are no local noodle makers in Reno. The dish was prepared in traditionally with a slight twist. Garlic, lots of minced garlic. Not complaining, as this is unusual for chow fun noodles to get amost a fourth of a garlic bulb worth. I ordered the mixed protein version with chicken, pork, and beef. There was a slight sweetness to the dish, which I am atributing it to sugar. Which again is unusual but a welcome addition like the garlic. My last visit was when some relatives visted from the Bay Area and we had lunch. I didn't want to take a chance on the food that they may not be used to, so we choose SK Noodle. The menu is humongous. Dim sum, Chinese, sushi, Vietnamese, with lots of choices from every part of the menu. I started with the crab Rangoon's, and they were very good. The filling was a little bit sweet, and a little bit savory, and the shell was well fried, crispy, and not oily at all. They were offering a BOGO on the combination plate, and so that's what I went for. I had the garlic chicken, and the chicken with seasonal. Veggies. On both dishes, the chicken was moist and tender. The veggies were done well. Just the right consistency, not mushy at all. The taste was great. The only thing I could say, was, the garlic chicken was a bit spicy. About medium on what I like for spice, you could definitely see the red pepper flakes on that food. Unfortunately, nowhere in the menu did it mention the spicy part of it. I did like it, and the spice was within what I like, but I think the next time I would order something else. The fried rice was very well done with a good flavor also. It was just the rice. It had no egg or veggies in it. I had enough for two meals on the first combo, and the second one went into my portable cooler, and is going home to Sacramento with me. For all I got, the price was extremely reasonable, even if I would've gotten only one combination. Thank you very much.
