My first time here even though I've regularly been driving past it for YEARS. I am not a huge fan of noodles so I didn't realize it was a regular fast food Chinese restaurant. I'm so glad I stopped today. I ordered the 2 item combo with orange chicken, almond chicken and pork fried rice. Their menu has a good selection of combos so it's easy to get what you want. I arrived after 3 and the service was fast. The food was HOT and flavorful. I feel like the Terminator...I'll be back! As another review mentions, it does kinda look closed from the street so I wasn't really sure till I parked. (:-). And as others mentioned, you don't come here for the lovely atmosphere. AND yes...it's fast food...meaning nothing fancy. But it's VERY REASONABLY PRICED HOT TASTY FOOD. And I wasn't forced to eat noodles!!! If you find this review HELPFUL please vote!!! read more

So good!! So low key too and worth it :)) the food comes out quick and taste delicious

I've been coming here for years and it's always been AMAZING!!! Highly recommend if you don't want to spend a fortune for some quality food. The food is always super fresh, service is amazing and quick, and the ambiance gives it a retro feel. I love it! This place has never failed to please my taste buds read more

From the outside (and kinda from the inside) you would think this place was closed. I ordered my go to with any Chinese fast food, the infamous CHOW FUN, bah-bah-bah! Coming in at a standard $11.00, and prepared in the standard 8ish minutes, I was presented with my bundled little treasure through a slot in the thick plastic barrier. My beef chow fun had a fishy taste. Very bland and flavorless. Very sad wimpy noodles dressed in a very thin sauce with some bean sprouts. Just a very brown bland dish. They really should add some scallions for some "pop". As other reviewers stated, it's next to an am/pm and cricket wireless I came, I ate, I judged......no bueno. read more

China Noodles - Don't judge a book by its cover? Let's find out. - Chinese Near Me - Sparks, Nevada

always smells GREAT and FRESH! Taste is top shelf as well. Good to very good sized portions for the prices--maybe a little less expensive than the market. Don't let the sparse restaurant or location fool you--it's really GREAT FOOD and VERY CONSISTENT! read more

This is authentic good Chinese food! If you're looking for a fancy expensive restaurant then don't go here. This is your typical "hole in the wall" style restaurant ran by family. You get a lot of food for a great price! That's what we look for in Chinese restaurants. Service was fast and prompt. They are to the point when taking your order, no small talk needed. Don't be scared of the store front when you see it, once you try the orange chicken you'll be coming back for more. read more

Great little hole in the wall for fast Chinese food! So many options and decent combo options. Right next to the am/pm so from the outside it doesn't look like much but this is my go to spot for a quick lunch. read more

This is definitely a yummy hidden gem in the Reno/Sparks Area. This is literally mine and my significant others absolute favorite place to go for quick and satisfying Chinese food. We were on a bit of a Chinese food kick so we ended up here around 7:30 pm on 03/16/2021. We actually haven't been here since BEFORE the pandemic started so the inside has changed immensely. They have some chairs spaced 6 feet apart so you can wait on your food if need be. All the tables have been stacked up and are currently out of order. The front counter has quite the plastic barrier in place, and staff had on goggles and masks. So when we arrived, we put in our order which consisted of 2 orders of Potstickers (10 in an order for $6.00 +tax), then we each got a combination plate ($7.50 +tax), mine had Pork Fried Rice with Orange Chicken and Sesame Chicken. The BF got Chicken Chow Mein with Beef Broccoli and Spicy General Chicken. When we arrived home everything was still nice and warm. We started on our 2 orders of Potstickers right away. These are legitimately some of the fattest & yummiest Potstickers in town. I'd eat them every single day if I could. After we polished off the Potstickers we moved on to demolishing our combo plates. Of course, you know how we do it... we share! The Chicken Chow Mein was on point, absolutely no complaints here. The Beef Broccoli was delicious, the broccoli was fresh n crunchy, beef was tender and flavorful. The Spicy General Chicken was not spicy in anyway, which kind of disappointed the BF since he said as spicy as you can make it, keep in mind this man lives for hot and spicy and I do not, I had to agree though, it wasn't spicy in any way but was still cooked well and quite tasty. The Pork Fried Rice was perfect not over or undercooked and I honestly ate most of it without soy sauce. Please note I love soy sauce on all my rice...but for once I just didn't feel like it was needed. The orange chicken was nicely cooked and flavored, I also enjoyed the orange slice awaiting me when I opened the box. It was an appealing aesthetic in my opinion. It was nicely flavored, not too orangey, is that even a word? Lol. I definitely think it was a tad bit better than Panda Express. Lastly, my personal favorite Sesame Chicken!! They have theirs down to a science...it always has the perfect amount of sesame seeds and sauce, never too dry or too saucy. This is probably why I tend to order a double side of Sesame Chicken. All in all this is a great place for a quick, filling, cheap meal. They are tucked in between the AM/PM gas station and Cricket Wireless Store on North McCarran across from Sierra Sids. Stop in, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. read more

This might be the proverbial hidden gem when it comes to Chinese fast food! I had driven by this place for years wondering about it. It's tucked away next to the AM/PM on the corner. When you walk in you'll notice the plastic barrier between the customers and staff as they haven't removed anything from the covid days, but don't let that turn you away! They have an extensive menu and very fast and friendly service providing delicious food. It's definitely a local secret read more

Went for the 3 1/2 star approach here. Ordered the generals chicken And beef broccoli with the chow mein. The place was pretty empty, my order was cooked fresh maybe took ten minutes. Generals chicken was tasty with some freshly roasted garlic, beef broccoli was below average, chow mein was normal as expected. read more

Very good food cooked fresh to order, and worth every cent. Service on paper plates in a small, cafeteria style atmosphere. The best Chinese if you want to treat your tastebuds and not your ego. read more

This is my go-to spot for soup when I'm sick. The war wonton soup is packed with nutrients from perfectly cooked meats and veggies, but still light enough to not bog you down. They keep their prices super low despite the amazing quality of food, and have almost 0 social media presence! I truly think n they ate sparks' best kept secret. read more

Not sure why some only gave it 3 stars then bragged about it? I found their food MUCH better than some of the expensive Chinese Restaurants I have gone to in the Sparks/Reno area and far less expensive. I always get my food to go, So I am not rating the atmosphere. read more

I ordered the almond chicken combo plate for only $5.50 and it came out of the kitchen in the just a couple of minutes. The food came out piping hot and there were lots of yummy veggies mixed into the chicken (zucchini, carrots, mushroom, celery and broccoli stalks). I was pretty satisfied with my cheap Chinese food. The chicken meat was a little bland, but the sauce made up for it. Their hot sauce is really good, too, and it looks house made. I was mixing around with my spoon to count how many pieces of chicken came with my order (10 small pieces) when I found a hair!!! A thick little black hair sat in the middle of my spoon. I immediately brought my meal up to the counter to have it replaced. They were apologetic and accommodating, and my new plate was brought to my table just a couple minutes later. The new dish was missing the zucchini and mushroom, so I wasn't shy to ask for more veggies. The lady took it back herself and cooked the veggies on top. The taste of their food is average (but satisfying) for cheap Chinese food. The hair incident will probably keep me from coming back. It's not the best place in Sparks, but if you're close by and have a craving for this type of food, it's an alright place to check out. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place. I got honey garlic chicken and a spicy chicken (both were breaded) with noodles on the side. Let's just say the noodles were the only good thing. Both chickens looked like death. All breaded no chicken, super soggy. Both lacked flavor. They looked the same. Just horrible. On the upside the chili paste was good. read more

This place is a hit or miss for me and today was definitely a miss and wont miss coming back. My wife and daughter order the two item combo plate and they said it didn't taste like how it use to and abandoned the food. I think it depends on what chef is making the food and today the lady was making it. My daughter two items was General chicken and cashew chicken with chicken chow mein. My daughter said the General chicken was way to sour and cashew chicken had no cashew in it. My wife two items were honey garlic chicken and szechuan beef with pork fried rice. Honey garlic chicken was not crispy and had to much sauce that made it soggy and instead of szechuan beef she made broccoli and beef with pork fried rice that was just sad and bland and she was the one that was taking my order over the counter. Now for me the chow mein was good and flavor was on point with big cuts of BBQ pork which i like but it was so damn oily, I had to take it out the box and put it on a plate so I can eat it without wiping my lips every bite and after taking it out of the box there was so much oil and to top it off they only gave me 1 chili oil and chili sauce for 3 orders of food, SHADY!! good thing i had the same chili sauce at home. I use to like this place alot but performance and quality of food went down hill. read more

So I'm in Sparks for work for the week and I've been Yelping all my dinners and I've been very satisfied with the picks.. until today!! I was craving Chinese food and this place came up close to where I'm staying and they had decent reviews so I decided to give it a shot!! I ordered chicken fried rice, general chicken and chicken wings (obviously I love chicken lol) The service was great food was fresh out the kitchen after I ordered it steaming hot looked pretty good with huge portions so I was excited but... The general chicken was terrible super chewy didn't taste like any general chicken I ever had and it was supposed to be spicy but literally no spice at all, the chicken wings were over cooked all flats and no flavor luckily I had some hot sauce from another restaurant I thought that would save them but I was wrong.. there was no saving those wings!! Lol but the chicken fried rice saved the day that was really delicious if I would've had that alone this would've been a totally different experience!! Service and the rice was awesome but everything else was terrible so I feel generous giving them 2 stars.. read more

I haven't been here in awhile but I had a Chinese craving and got off work early. Usually I get sweet and sour chicken but decided to try something new and ordered the beef and veggies with chow mien. The portions are so generous, it's more than enough to share or save for lunch the next day:) The owner (I'm sorry I don't know her name) is always so friendly and asks how I'm doing. She's great at remembering your order if you're a regular. Don't listen to the haters, this place is great:) read more

I'm always grateful to have food in my belly, but I'm even more grateful when the food is well made and affordably priced lol. Growing up with Asian food makes it easy for me to decide whether or not restaurants have "good" food or "bad" (of course that's to my own personal taste). To me, their food tastes awesome! My boyfriend and I have ordered all over the menu and we've never been disappointed. It is cooked fairly quickly and they give you bountiful amount! The owners are also very kind and polite, I always feel welcome when I walk through the door. read more

Once upon a time, there was Wonder Wok in Sparks... The hole-in-the-wall place had a wonderful charm to it; and several of their dishes, especially Singapore Mei Fun, was really, really terrific. However, they closed, making you wonder why some shops serving crappy Chinese food endure, while ones that offer high-quality fare struggle. Wonder Wok reopened under a different name a couple of years ago, but didn't last. Again, the question. If you're a fan of really good pork fried rice with onion, carrot and bean sprouts, then - go somewhere else, because what they serve at China Noodles really sucks. Sucks, sucks, sucks. Before, going there, I didn't know it was possible to serve fried rice that was both underdone and crunchy AND sticky at the same time. However, China Noodles has pulled it off. Instead of barbecued pork, the dish contained what appeared to be tiny cubes of ham instead. Plus, it didn't contain any of the aforementioned vegetables. On the other hand, their Singapore Mei Fun is excellent, approaching what I was used to at Wonder Wok. The dish is deep yellow with curry and has a strong, spicy flavor. From what I could see of their menu, they offer an off-beat cuisine that I thought only Wonder Wok served: for instance, Barbecued Pork Noodle soup, which can be really fantastic. I'm looking forward to trying their version. Perhaps once I do, I'll bounce up my review stars if called for. read more

Living here a year and half haven't found a decent place yet not bad place fairly clean considering the location but real Chinese food I'm wowed pretty much everything except the teriyaki skewers ( not a fan) I order so far has been great. I liked my crispy fried chow mein, so China Noodles rates three stars. For something called China Noodles the selection of noodle-oriented dishes seems kind of small. There were soups, regular chow mein, crispy noodle chow mein, pad Thai and chow fun. I had hoped for more. I started with hot and sour soup and I didn't like it. The flavor was okay but it was the most watery hot and sour soup I've ever had. That hurt the experience. The noodles in the crispy chow mein were nice. I needed a noodle fix and they worked. They also included some nice fresh vegetables. The chicken itself seemed to be an inferior quality of meat. I will definitely try a different meat next time. The price was $6 and that seemed reasonable. This place opened as the original Szechuan Express in the mid 1980s. It was started by the guy who went on to own other restaurants in town, like Shanghai Restaurant in Sparks and China Dynasty in Reno. When it started it was good, cheap Chinese food. Then it seemed to change strategy as the chain of stores was opened, like maybe they were preparing all the food in some central kitchen and shipping it to the different stores to be reheated and served. read more

This place is fantastic. Went there with a coworker during lunch and it was packed. We both got the General & Sesame Chicken with Chicken Chow Mein. Everything was so good! Their soft chow mein noodles are out of this world. Priced at $5.75 for all of this food (minus a drink) you can't beat that! It's cheaper than most fast food places. read more

This place has gone downhill. We used to eat here often it's been a while we just brought 7 items home and everything was horrible. Also our sweet and sour pork had no sweet and sour on it just dry battered pork that tasted awful. We called and complained and all he said was next time tell us and we will give you extra food. No thanks we wont waste our time or money there ever again. What a shame china noodle. read more

Its located in a small shop off the corner of mccarran and can be hard to see if you arent looking BUT YOU SHOULD LOOK! They usually arent too busy so getting in and ordering is always quick and easy! I believe this is a family owned shop and you can taste the home cooked goodness in each meal. My favorite so far is the pork fried rice! Check them out! Definitely a stop worth making when your craving some Chinese food! PRICES ARE AMAZING TOO especially for how big the portions are! I love this place. Show them some love too! read more

Food definitely lacked flavor! Least favorite Chinese food restaurant. They did have fast service.

BUU TAY HO. The food is absolutely terrible here, but I will say that they are very consistent. I have been here a couple times and have been disgusted every time. Each time I have told myself it would be the last. Eat here knowing the plastic they serve the food in is likely better for you. WUUU! read more

Been getting take-out here for about 4 years now and have never been disappointed. Their Pad-Thai is amazing, and the combination plates they offer are extremely affordable. Horrible i knew i shouldn't have came here. To all my fellow construction workers traveling from So cal. Dont expect this place to measure up to some of the chinese fast food spots out there. Best bang for your buck in the Reno/Sparks area!!!! Always super friendly staff and family owned restaurant. Our family have been eating here for 24 years on average twice a month and have never had a bad meal!!!! I have read some of the reviews and have come to the conclusion people like to complain and exaggerate more than complement. Every person will have on off days in their jobs, but I have never seen it here. The food is always fresh with generous portions, more than the average person can eat. read more

This is conveniently located right down the street from me and I have gone here a few times now. The place is clean, with an aquarium to look at in one corner, and a flat screen TV playing nature documentaries in another - which is a welcome departure from the usual sports, entertainment news or other TV shows you usually see. I have ordered several things off the menu so far and have enjoyed all of them, and my boyfriend has enjoyed all of his as well. We agree that this is one of the better fast food/take out places of its ilk. Nothing that I have ordered stands out, but I have tried some combo plates and what is good about them is the quality of the rice and or chow mein that accompanies them. Both side dishes are tasty, not dried out or bland. I would encourage anyone who is looking for something reasonably priced and fast to try this place out over some of the other similar restaurants. read more
