I'm in town visiting my friend who lives in Dallas. She's never been here. She moved to the area a few years ago, but this place is now on her MUST TAKE VISITORS LIST. I absolutely loved everything that I had here. I love that they have espresso martinis here!!! So I had to order one w/ a shot of cookie butter syrup... it was awesome! We started off with Dubai Chocolate Beignets, which were the best beignets I've ever had!!!! It's not your traditional NOLA-style beignets, but I still absolutely loved it. They were so crispy outside & soft inside. The chocolate & pistachio syrup was delicious. I ordered the short rib benny, and it was perfectly poached. I got the lemon blueberry "mini" pancakes for my side, which was yummy. They brought incredibly delicious AND WARM syrup to the table for the pancakes, which I LOVED. I don't normally eat my pancakes with syrup, but the warm syrup was so good on those pancakes. Hubby ordered cinnamon roll pancakes (which were huge!), but they were good. I have 2 big complaints about my visit to Egg Posh this week - 1) I was charged $1.50 for half and half (like the little tiny pitcher you use for coffee) bc I do not like the stuff that sits on the table all day, and 2) I was charged $2.50 for 3 thin slices of avocado as my side for my Eggs Benedict (that were already $18)! These additional charges seem very unnecessary and high. Breakfast at a neighborhood restaurant should not cost $32 for ONE person. Every single team member went out of their way to make us feel welcome--but what truly blew me away was how they treated my pup! We sat outside on their dog-friendly patio, and I think every employee stopped by to greet him, showering him with attention and treating him like a VIP guest. It was so sweet and genuine--it really made the experience feel special. As for the food? The beignets were insane--hands down the best we've ever had. This is now my #1 breakfast spot! The customer service was excellent. My server, Heidi, was so sweet and very attentive, it was like she knew what I wanted before I even asked. This place will be busy if you go to breakfast any time. This is not the business's fault but your own if you go and you're expecting to get seated 5 minutes after you get there. You can check in on their app, but if you don't check in within 15 minutes of checking in on the waitlist they remove you. That's only fair for the people who get there in person. You can tell whomever designed this place thoughtfully did so from having beautiful plates with a lip, to putting the sound bar in the bathroom so it echoes off the ceiling and you can hear the music well. The food was outstanding and beautifully plated. The kids got Mickey pancakes and loved them. The kids cups super cute drink cups. Hubs got the Birria bowl with rosemary potatoes. He loved the flavors together. He wished he would've gotten the bowl with zucchini because he missed his veggies. The quesadilla was super good and he hates quesadillas normally. I got the veggie omelet. This was the best veggie omelet I've ever had. The flavors so complementary and nothing overpowering. We also got the cannoli donuts. Our visit started a bit rough, but redeemed itself by the end! We arrived at about 9:30 on a Saturday morning and settled in for the expected 25-30 minute wait. The restaurant is SMALL and popular, so it's no surprise that at prime times you will have to wait. After a bit less than 30 minutes we were invited in by text (love the fact we could wait on the car!) and escorted to our table. This is where things went bad. As previous mentioned, the place is SMALL, and they are definitely trying to cram every possible table in- as evidenced when we were seated at what felt like half a table pushed up against the back of a booth next to a large party of 8. This placed my seat RIGHT at a juncture point where patrons and servers are squeezing between tables constantly. After being jostled or hit by people 3-4 times in under 5 minutes I approached the front desk and asked if we could request a different table when it opened as this table was really not functioning. The woman (fuchsia hair? Older?) was brusque and borderline rude. She said "we can put you at the bottom of the waiting list, but we've already assigned the other tables. So sorry." She repeated it multiple times- no attempt to find a compromise or offer an alternative, or even genuinely apologize. It was amazingly rude way to treat someone. The lack of an immediate table switch neither surprised me nor bothered me, but the way she spoke to me was the opposite of customer service, indicating I was bothering her and should just be happy she allowed me to sit anywhere in her restaurant. Unimpressed. I returned to our table and my friend and I contemplated simply paying for our coffee and leaving as I continued to have waitstaff hit my chair (and me) as they navigated the corner. Before our waitress had returned with the drinks, however, LAUREN from the front desk (different person) approached and graciously told us a new table had come open and she offered it to us. She was friendly and welcoming as she guided us to the new table and apologized for the discomfort we'd experienced. Just her attitude was enough to help change the tide, and the table she gave us was a perfect solution and changed our entire trip. From that point forward the visit was 5 star. RACHEL waited on us and was fantastic- friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, guided us to the right choices, checked on us just enough to keep coffee and water full without interrupting conversation. The food was EXCELLENT- delicious and beautifully served. They made minor food adaptations easily and as someone with food sensitivity I felt especially safe because my adapted food was clearly marked. (Sometimes you aren't sure if the order was actually transmitted- this was a small change to the decoration that clearly indicated mine had an adaptation.) The crepes were fantastic-- perfectly cooked and delicious! The Avocado Tree omelette was amazing! The rosemary potatoes were delightful. Every bite made is more willing to overlook the opening escapade. Bottom line- this place is tiny, so expect it to be crowded if you visit at a hot time, but the food is worth waiting for! We will be back- we just know which table to ask to avoid! read more

You get to pick a side, I got fruit. There was no seasoning in the bowl not even in the hash brown. French toast looked gorgeous w/ toasted pecans, caramelized bananas, cone of mascarpone, thick brioche bread, lacked flavor in the French toast. You were searching for cinnamon, vanilla. Even dousing w/syrup but it was plain. Donuts nicely presented, fresh out of fryer and cannoli cream and chocolate chips in the middle the donut left grease on the plate and when slicing it you can see donut soaked in a layer oil. The donut was bit dense. You can get better donuts at a local donut place. If they focus on seasoning the food more and making lighter, less oily donuts, the flavor would meet the expectations of the presentation. read more

Made the 25+ minute drive out from Grapevine this last Saturday to take my girlfriend to brunch, as she'd been interested in trying this place. I tried to make a reservation the night before, only to find that the restaurant no longer has its online reservations interface enabled and only accepts reservations for larger groups by phone. I looked through the FAQ on their website (https://eggposh.com/frisco-egg-posh-faq) and found a section labelled "What is the average wait time on weekends?" which informed me that their average weekend wait time is 15-30 minutes. So, you can imagine my surprise when we arrived and were informed by staff that the wait time was "90 minutes, at minimum," and that this was not at all unusual for weekend brunch. Intentionally misleading your customers about wait times on your website will get you a well-deserved 1-star rating. We will not be back. read more

Since we were going to be in Frisco we decided to try Egg Posh. I stumbled upon it on Yelp earlier in the week. I loved that we could get on the waitlist via Yelp or the website. Turns out, we were early enough that there was next to no wait when we arrived. They have fresh squeezed orange juice so that was good. They let me substitute chicken apple sausage for the bacon AND for the sausage patty in my plate. That was nice. Our server was ok, nothing bad but nothing to make this experience stand out. For my meal, first my plate came out with the wrong breakfast meat but that was remedied immediately. There was absolutely nothing soft about my soft scrambled eggs! They were so dry I couldn't even eat them. My cinnamon roll pancake was also terribly dry. It was also tasteless. The cinnamon roll icing on the pancake didn't help out either. I had to use syrup to get any flavor. This was another part of my meal that I just couldn't eat more than a few bites of. The right thing for me to do would have been to talk to the manager and/or send the food back. I didn't want to mess with sending anything back because we were short on time. There are some great reviews for Egg Posh but I was extremely disappointed in our experience and have no interest in trying it again. read more
