But I waited for her for about 8 minutes til she comes back and got my order, I ordered the Keto burrito with bacon and Migas, whats shocking is that she didn't ask what protein I wanted for the Migas so she end up writing it down and walked away. I don't know her name but I just felt like it was really awkward and irritating. - Food: Now for the food, my burrito was realllllly delicious and I really enjoy that crunchy bacon and eggs, their homemade sauce is excellent with the burrito! My wife had avocado toast and I had the classic American breakfast. The service was good but the food was below average IMO. The coffee was warm but not hot. The patty sausage was thin and very greasy. The eggs okay and fruit okay. The toast hardly looked toasted. The avocado toast was just mashed avocado on toast with little taste or seasoning. We came here because the place we were originally headed had actually closed their location, so we were in need of some good food, fast, without it actually being fast food, right? I had seen this place while passing by, but had not stopped in. I love me some good brunch, so I convinced my husband this was the place to go! We were seated quickly by a young lady who was multi-tasking with hostess duties and taking phone orders, and when one of the other waitresses noticed the hostess was on the phone, she quickly came over to seat us so the hostess could continue with what she was doing, which I thought was nice. They have a pretty standard southern brunch menu. I got a waffle with an egg and hash browns on the side and my husband got the chicken fried steak and eggs, also with hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious! My waffle was crispy goodness, even after pouring syrup all over it. The hash browns were perfectly salted, golden brown deliciousness, and the portion size was quite generous. My husband fairly inhaled his chicken fried steak and eggs, and even managed to down his biscuit and gravy. I think he was tempted to lick the plate, lol. My daughter and I decided to try this place out this past weekend and were very pleasantly surprised. The inside is very spacious with plenty of booth seating and our service was fast and excellent. Good, strong coffee with flavored creamer on the tabletops. They also have good iced coffee. My daughter had the avocado toast and said it was great, very creamy. Chicken and waffles were tasty and delicious - the chicken was nice and moist, and the waffle was the right combination of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I've had both at Egg Haven, and both were amazing. Hash browns were good and hash-browny as well. Now, let's talk about that fifth star and where it went... Actually, I'd give 4 1/2 stars if I could, but something was missing. I didn't realize it until my second visit. It was the biscuits and gravy. They were good, don't get me wrong. The biscuit was OK, but it was grilled, and I'm not much of a grilled biscuit kind of guy. I prefer a big fluffy buttermilk and baking powder kind of biscuit. And the gravy was good... a simple cream gravy, good with pepper... But the gravy was served lukewarm. A good cream gravy needs to be served piping hot. So I issue this challenge to the owners of Egg Haven... When I come in next time, if the gravy is nice and hot, I'll come back and add the fifth star. read more

Relatively new place within a few miles from our house. First of all, I was a slacker and forgot to take pictures of our food. We all chose basic yet staples of breakfast food items. Chicken fried steak, pancakes, hash browns, bacon, sausage, eggs, and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The food came out pretty quickly. We are a pretty particular family when it comes to ordering. As in what we want or don't want on our food. With all of our particulars, our food came out correctly. Always a nice feeling in a restaurant! Meals are large portions and very tasty. We will definitely be back here. There are more adventurous things on the menu we all want to try. We simply had to make sure the breakfast staples were spot on first. I felt the coffee was just right, not too strong - but not weak. We had Monica as our server, who was such a delight. The service wasn't too bad and they were friendly. My husbands breakfast skillet was good, but when they say fresh blueberry crepes, that is literally it. Nothing in them but a few blueberries inside and on top -super plain. They were served without any whipped cream also altho the server did come back and offer some. I had the corned beef hash (yes, I like corned beef hash about twice a year), scrambled eggs, grits - add cheese, and pancakes. I had to add salt & pepper to the grits and eggs. I found that to be normal at many breakfast places. The corned beef hash was good. It's the same as most restaurants because no one makes it homemade. The stand out were the PANCAKES! They were fluffy with the perfect hint of sweetness and absolutely delicious with the warm syrup. I'll definitely return to try more on the menu and get those pancakes! read more

Highly doubt we will come back. Very underwhelming. It's not awful but doesn't taste homemade. Also, the waiter just straight up lied to me. I asked if they had real maple syrup and I could tel he seemed confused but he said yes. Since he seemed confused I said real maple not like log cabin and he said absolutely yes our maple syrup is real. I was skeptical but ordered French toast which I ate dry because the syrup was obviously a corn syrup concoction that I can't/won't eat. To be fair, the French toast wasn't bad and I would've enjoyed it with maple pretty well. My husband said his food was fair. The coffee was fair at best.
