All I can say is why are the teenage workers talking as disrespectful and rude to their managers? The management in the evening was on point and got food out. But the one teenage boy was straight out taking s#it to his superior and threatening that he could get them fired. Is this really allowed? First time here and I am from out of town. Crew was very nice and energetic. Drinks came out fast even as they were training a fellow employee. The wait on the food was disappointing. They somehow completely forgot our order. Waited 30 minutes before I finally got up and reminded them of our very simple order of half a sandwich and 1 pretzel. In Tucson, this is a very popular place to eat at. It is like a fast food place. This chain is all over Tucson. What they are known for is their slushy. So we ordered sandwiches, some fries, and slushy drink. Bread isn't really toasted. So it was cold bread with meat and veggies. Fries were crispy. My friend suggests to eat it with ranch. Slushy was good but nothing special to me. I think I tried better ones in Hawaii. Sandwiches are a little more pricey than subway there. This spot is as good as one eegee's could get. And their amazing staffs just made it better. We ordered a small fries cuz how can you not get their fresh curly cut fries. So our order took about the time we finished both of our kid size eegees and still not on the table. My friend went to remind them and one of the staffs, not even the one who took our order, apologized sincerely, and next thing you know, she put on our table probably the biggest serving of fries I've ever seen on our table, also too cookies! Stopped by eegee's on a trip to Tucson bc I heard from multiple people that Tucson locals love eegees. We all got different flavors of the eegees, which are basically like Italian ice / slushies. You eat them with a spoon. As someone not from Arizona, I definitely didn't mind them but I wouldn't go back for more. I got a mix of lemon, strawberry, and pina colada. I definitely like the lemon flavor the best - it had real lemon chunks in there. The other ones were too sweet for me. I could see these being more amazing in the summertime if the weather is scorching hot, but still would not be my go-to drink bc of its level of sweetness. I got the small size which was too much to share between my friend and me. Definitely get the extra small if you are wanting to try just a taste of this Tucson specialty! read more

"If Subway and Sonic had a baby, Eegees would be it." That's what my wife said about this place, and I can't blame her. We came here because years ago someone brought in a slushy to work (in Yuma) and I knew I had to try more, but it was never a priority until now. So before leaving a daycation trip to Tucson we finally hit up the nearest one. The food? Hit or miss, your average fare and nothing to write home about. The cheesy bacon fries stood out a bit but nothing else... The slushies; yes and yes. The six of us ordered separate ones, and they definitely did not disappoint. The main reason for walking in the store is to try the slushies, in my opinion. Leftover slushy the next day was good, too. The customer service. Above average! Once the cashier and floor manager found out it was our first time, we were getting samples of slushies. He could of tried selling us on other things too but passed on it. The respect and love (?) for this store was prevalent as the dining area was in complete and continuous wipe down. Like a bus ride across the country, Eegees was interesting but I doubt we'll come back for the food...I would use the drive-thru for some more slushy though! Because, priorities. read more

I cannot believe I was never told about Eegee's!! I lived in AZ for over a year and worked in Tucson for over 6 months and never found out about it, shame on you Tucsonians or is it Tucsons?! Anyways back to the point, get yourself a Half and Half! These are scrumptious! Imagine this, it's a nice day in let's say August, it's a cool 115 degrees and you find yourself a little parched. You could get a nice cold bottle of water, how long is it going to be cold for? Or you can get yourself a Skinny Berry Eegee's, cuz we are watching our weight and being healthy. You lay back and relax and cool off easily for the next 30-40 minutes enjoying it! Does that not sound like a good time, it does! Being from out of state, we wanted to try something local. We saw so many eegee's around town we decided to check it out. The sandwiches are you basic sub or grinder type. Decent bread, good variety of choices, but nothing outstanding. The eegee smoothie was great. We had their flavor of the month, which was cherry limeade. It was refreshing and not overly sweet. It would definitely hit the spot on a hot Arizona summer. The staff were also friendly and it was a convenient location. Really enjoyed my first trip to an eegee's I had a smaller 5 inch tuna and it was really good. I got a strawberry freeze thing that was pretty good. The fries weren't amazing but hey sandwich with fries is pretty amazing. Better than a subway or Jimmy John's and I think perhaps it's the quality that make it taste better dunno maybe it's the fact it was new to me. One of the better Eegees locations in town. The store is conveniently located near where I work, is always clean, has great customer service, and most importantly, always has what I want to eat in stock. The parking here can be difficult, but that is no different from any of the other locations in town. They are extremely quick to churn out orders during the lunchtime rush, so I would not worry about coming here at that time. read more

I have come here several times in the past few days and over the years and have tried a fair amount of items of the menu from the grinders to the fries and of course the infamous Eegee's. My favorite thing to get here is the Biggie Pina Colada Eegee which has small pieces of pineapple inside. For those who aren't aware Eegee's is quiet a Tucson staple as they are delicious frozen Italian ice drinks that can be customized with drinks to form fizzes and more. read more

If you're going to take an out-of-towner to an Eegee's, this is the one to take them to. Built into a former Whataburger, it's cleaner, better managed and more appealing than any other Eegee's location that I've been to. Eegee's pays its staff well in general and attract good people but, for some reason, the staff here is just better. Or, at least, they seem that way. Anyone want some burnt with their meatball sub??? Stopped by the North Oracle location this evening and it started out by repeating my order 3 times, then the girl put my order on someone else's order. Then when I ordered the Hot Pastrami with MUSTARD AND CHEESE ONLY!! I got a response of..."so you're saying you don't want pickles, lettuce, tomato, spices, cheese, pepperchinis, onion, etc....also, do you want meat on that???" What the heck??? Then they did it all over again as I approached the drive through window. Get our food home only to find the hardest, burnt meatball sub I've ever had. I couldn't even eat it it was so burnt. And the so called "Mozarella" cheese felt like and looked like thick flex seal. We have had problems with this location before and we had not been here in quite some time....thought we would try it. NOPE!!! Just as horrible as always. The bread was so hard and burnt, it could be made into shoes for the people on naked and afraid. It was my boyfriends first time to Eegee's and he's been listening to me rave about it forever. Well we went to lunch here on Saturday and it did not disappoint. Our dining experience was even better than my previous trips to Eegee's. The place was very clean and the young man who took our order was genuine and friendly. The food was absolutely incredible. Even my boyfriend was blown away. The guy who brought out the food to our table even asked us if we had enough of the dressings we had ordered. Usually other places just drop the tray and run off. But Eegee's obviously cares about making sure your lunch is just as you want it. Definitely a happy experience and we are looking forward to coming back. read more

I just went through the drive-thru and they wanted to charge me $1.79 for a large cup of water, which is the price of their large sodas... I just ordered a full meal - sandwich, fries, eegee - and they can't afford to spot me a cup that costs them 20 cents, or even charge me 30 cents? The food is usually good, but not so good that I won't go somewhere with a common customer service policy for my future meals. Congrats on saving 20 cents, while losing my future business. Stopped in on 8/19/2020 around 2:30 pm. They got my order wrong. When I approached the counter and asked for them to correct it, an employee wanted to argue about why they made the wrong order. Apparently, the customer is supposed to accept whatever they hand you. I explained what I ordered (regular hot pastrami, provalone, with mustard) and she still tried to argue with me the difference between a pastrami grinder and the regular pastrami. She finally took the wrong sandwich back and slapped it down at the back counter. Then her and the person who prepared it examined it like it was some sort of medical examination of a specimen. Then she came back and said they would make another one. After nearly 15 minutes and only 2 customers in the place, I approached the counter again. The same employee yelled from the back, "were making it right now". I sat back down. Another 5 minutes and she brought a new sandwich to me; handed it to me; then turned and walked away. She said nothing. When I unwrapped it, it was cold (supposed to be hot), slathered in mustard and a tiny piece of pastrami and cheese. It was all bread. Poorly remade. You could tell they were pissed because I complained. I was in a hurry so I ate it. MMMMM.... Cold Bread and mustard mostly. I filled out a survey of on the receipt, since I was pissed about the treatment and spending nearly $27.00 for crappy service and food. Just before we left, the corporate office must have contacted them, because the person arguing was sent by someone in the office there to see me and made to apologize. I appreciated that. They offered to remake it, but I said no thanks, I was already full of bread and mustard, since they decided to do a poor job. Later in the evening at 11:50pm, a manager called and apologized for the late call. Said she was going to leave a message for me. LOL; little did she know I would answer. She said she was sorry for the problems and she offered to replace my order the next time I come in. I explained to this manager that someone sent the employee who already apologized and offered this, but she said she would also do this. The saddest part to all of this was the manager who called NEVER mentioned talking to staff and retraining in customer courtesy and quality of food. Honestly, that is all I wanted to hear is that they would monitor what is being served and train staff properly. She only apologized, but I'm sure the poor quality will still continue. I gave an extra star for the late phone call from the manager. We probably wont go back to the Oracle Rd location. The other locations are much better. This was the 3rd time in a year they screwed up the same order, and the first time someone wanted to argue about it. Just not feeling to good about returning to waste money at this location. read more

I ordered a sandwich to go . Literally put one piece of provolone and gave me mustard packets instead of putting it on my sandwich how I asked for it. They put less than a stage meat on the sandwich. I love Eegee's but this location seems to have lower standards then the ones I've visited. read more
