This is old-school; the way things should be. Then you look around and see a fleet of high-end Mercedes, Audis, and BMWs. And they treated me well with a *Corolla*! This is a *good* auto shop.

I went back to the shop 3 times over the course of ~9 months, each time discovering some issues and replacing the pad/disk (this is where i felt good about the shop, everyone welcomed me back and did the diagnose and replacement for free). I end up relacing the two front pad/disk with another brand (zimmerman? that's what i heard) and resolved all issues. Maybe I just got unlucky, but I have to leave my honest and true experience which exhausts me over the last year (imagine every time you back out of your garage and hearing this "click" sound from your brake system, with a baby in a car. You natually worries about your safety).

The clerk told me it's a new business there now, they don't yet have a phone number, it's currently just a gas station (no longer Valero) and snack shop, the auto repair section is closed at this time. He didn't know if George's would reopen elsewhere. Suggesting that I return another time to ask the manager as he might know. I haven't done that yet, but the sudden change makes me sad. I found this place on Google and immediately LOVED their jingle which already put me in a better mood. The service rep was super nice, I believe his name was David. I explained to him what was going on, he listened and took me seriously. I brought up other concerns I had with the vehicle and he was able to make time for me the very next day during the busy holiday season. I love how attentive and communicative they are. They call and/or text. They don't try to upsell you or charge you extra for their services. David was very transparent and answered my questions honestly. I like how they send you a report of your car with pictures of things that are critically important, urgently, or good to go. It helped me decide what I wanted to turn my attention to and fix.
