If you're looking for some good BBQ with plenty of seating options, this is a great spot. You walk in, place your order, and then choose where you want to sit, at the bar, a high-top table, a booth, or even out in the common area of The Factory. Our group decided to sit in the common area so everyone could grab food from different restaurants. After ordering, I told them where I'd be sitting, and they gave me a table number so they could bring the food right out. Easy and convenient! I ordered the Tri-Star platter, which came with pulled pork, brisket, and pulled chicken. All three meats were tender and flavorful. Don't be shy with the BBQ sauce, it really takes everything to the next level. The platter comes with two sides. I chose one vegetable, baked beans, and one fruit, banana pudding. For those not from the South, macaroni and cheese is considered a vegetable, and banana pudding is absolutely a fruit. That's just science around here! The meal also included cornbread and slaw, making for a hearty plate of food. Everything was very good, portions were generous, and the service was excellent. I was at The Factory walking around and shopping the other day and decided to grab a bite to eat at Edley's. When I arrived, there were a few people ahead of me looking over the menu and placing their orders. After taking a look myself, I decided to try the chicken sandwich with a side salad. I also asked for the white BBQ sauce on the side since I had never tried it before and wasn't sure if I would like it. After placing my order and paying, I headed into the restaurant, found a table, set down my number, and waited for the food to be delivered. A few minutes later, my food arrived, and it looked really good. The chicken sandwich was massive, and the side salad was a generous size as well. I tried the white BBQ sauce first and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't overly tangy or sweet. I also noticed a bottle of BBQ sauce on another table and wanted to give that a try, so I added a little to my sandwich. I'm not sure what variety it was, or if they offer multiple sauce options, but I actually preferred it to the white sauce. Eventually, I mixed the two together, and that combination ended up being just right for me. The sandwich was so large that I only finished about half of it. When I was ready for a to-go box, it took a little while to find someone to ask since there weren't many employees walking around the dining area. Once I tracked someone down, I packed up my leftovers and headed out. Overall, the chicken was good, and I enjoyed both sauces. That said, I've had BBQ at other places that I enjoyed more, and I'm not sure Edley's is somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again. We originally wanted to have Dinner at another restaurant located inside the Factory but we didn't like the looks of it so we ended up at Edley's & what a find it was. We ordered from the counter & got the Pork & Brisket w Mac & Cheese as well as the Turkey Platter w Mac & Cheese. To tell the truth we weren't really expecting a great meal from a restaurant sitting inside a mall but we were 100 percent wrong because what we got was likely the best BBQ we've ever had. Every item from the entrees down to the sides ( Cornbread & Mac & Cheese ) was absolutely fantastic not to mention the tandem of servers were very attentive & did an excellent job of taking care of us. One more bonus was for new customers they will give you a complimentary Banana Pudding for dessert which also was excellent. Lastly Edley's has some of the best BBQ sauce we've ever had, especially their Alabama Sauce so we bought some plastic bottles to take back with us. We went to That Factory looking to eat and walk around. We settled on Edley's as I love BBQ. We walked straight to the bar and sat down. We were greeted immediately and the bartender was super. We shared the smoker sampler and everything was delicious. We had good drinks and good counter others at the bar. Our bartender was experienced and knew what she was doing. Located in The Factory is a BBQ joint with a comprehensive menu. It's just slightly overpriced in my opinion, but I appreciated the wide variety of menu options. What we ordered: -Burnt Ends: Served atop grits, alongside cornbread, and a side of your choice. We got the banana pudding, and it was incredible- definitely some of the best I've ever had. -Basket of Fries: I asked for a side, but it was rung up as a basket. It was way more than I wanted. I didn't realize this until after we paid, and didn't want to reverse it over a $2 difference. Fries were good, though. -Southern Salad with pulled chicken: Croutons were not great for being advertised as homemade. This salad was okay, nothing spectacular. Not a lot of bacon either. All in all, this place was good but nothing extraordinary. They charge for a water cup, which is kinda ridiculous, but I also like that it de-incentivizes using single-use materials. The worst BBQ I've ever had! The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the restaurant and food were terrible. We arrived when they opened, sat down, and found the table wasn't clean. We switched spots. As we started eating, I noticed I was stuck to the back of the booth and seat. Old BBQ sauce was all over the booth, and I could literally stick napkins on it and it would stick! Yuck! I sat in that booth. For the food, I ordered the tuck special with brisket. The brisket was all fat, no meat at all. The burnt ends were also fatty and not burnt at all. I'm giving it one star because my toddler liked his chicken wings, but overall, I was disgusted by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the food. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

We've dined at the Franklin location several times for about 2 years now. We enjoyed it in the beginning but now the brisket seems a lower quality. It tastes like they are just baking it slicing it and adding sauce and calling it BBQ. It doesn't have a BBQ ring, no smokey taste and it's appearance is not at all appealing. If a BBQ restaurant doesn't get a line of patrons at or shortly after opening then that's your signal it's not worth it. The dinning room could be better by cleaning your windows. We loved this place. We'll come back here when we visit Nashville. I had the sausage and brisket plate. It had a link of jalapeño cheddar sausage and some of the tastiest brisket I have had in TN. You order in a que in the front door and get your drinks. They bring the food. Great atmosphere. Friendly servers. Beans were my favorite side along with banana pudding. Yes it's a side here. Edley's has become one of our favorite BBQ places around Nashville, and I was super hype to see this location open up in Franklin! This Edley's sits inside of The Factory and is on the side of the center that sits along Franklin Road. For it to be inside a retail/food hall, it is still good size featuring plenty of booths, tables, high tops and even a nice bar! Edley's is set up as majority self-serve style where you order at a counter, get your own drink and have your food brought out to you by a runner, so there is no true service aspect unless you bellied up to the bar. That being said, the counter staff and the runners are very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Food wise, I am usually eating the burnt ends or sliced brisket sided with grit casserole, macaroni and cheese and/or green beans. Then my recent obsession is adding a cheddar sausage link...any combination of the above with that sausage is absolutely delicious! Additionally, while I am not a banana pudding guy, my partner and boss really enjoy it! Have yet to have a bad dish here, but the sweet tea is hit and miss. Sometimes it is perfection, other times it tastes like dirty water...so they should do something about that consistency. And only other negative is the layout of the front line area. The line easily spills out into the food hall due to the odd layout of the shelves creating a line. Neither of these things are enough to lose a star, but worthy enough to note. Overall, this location is solid. While our favorite Edley's is the Donelson location, this spot is a close second! read more

We were in Nashville for a long weekend get-away and felt like BBQ for supper. Picked Edley's based on YELP reviews. The staff was very friendly. You place your order at the front and then sit down. The food arrived quickly. I ordered 2 brisket tacos with grits and baked beans. The tacos were very good and were a lot of food! The grits were delicious. The baked beans were edible, but far from the best I've ever had. DH ordered the brisket platter with fries and baked beans. He didn't finish his beans either. The fries are frozen -- for this price, they should make fries from real potatoes. We both agreed the brisket is not very smoky or BBQ-y. It was OK but not the best flavor. read more

OMG Edley's bbq is amazing!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my brisket and rib combo platter!! The brisket was tender and the ribs literally fell off the bone! The sides I selected were baked beans and - vinegar based coleslaw. I enjoyed them both too! I loved the pickles served with the meal and the cornbread. Yall, this was some good eating!!! I had to make myself have leftovers because honestly, I would have cleared the plate otherwise. Leftovers were so clutch later in the evening of 11/11/2024. We had an overall good experience here. It's not full service; you wait in line, order at the counter get a number to put on your table and they bring everything to you. For well drinks, etc, you have to order separately at the bar. We ordered brisket tacos, pork platter, smoked wings, ribs, and chicken nachos. The ribs were cooked well and tasted great, I really enjoyed the pork platter and the potato salad and Mac n cheese that came with it were excellent... the cornbread, not so great. The smoked wings were dry rub and my son really enjoyed those. The brisket tacos were just okay, I would not order those again. And the chicken nachos were terrible... it seemed like they took day old chicken, tore the meat off and reheated it under a heat lamp over what could have been decent crunchy tortilla chips but ended up soggy somehow. One redeeming quality of this place (that gave it a four star instead of three) is the bar/bartender. I believe the gentleman's name was Spencer, he noticed a new face at the bar right away, asked me what I was interested in trying, and gave me my order immediately (beer in a mason jar). When I came back for a second round, he looked up, and remembered my name and asked if I wanted another of the same and he remembered my order too! Excellent bar service! Welcome to the Franklin Factory fam! My first time here and notably I haven't gotten BBQ for a long while - I forgot I don't like "Smokey flavor". Oooops! The brisket tacos were such good flavor! Albeit "Smokey"... Yum! Huge fan of the bean salad that was on them and love the shell for these. So good! Definitely recommend! The meat was quality meat, not big fatty chunks like thankfully!!!! Do you like taking a bite of your food and saying "hmm, I don't know what that flavor is"? If you do, then come here because they will probably give you the wrong food and not think twice about it. When you say something they will just give it one of those good ole long looks to determine the flavor rather than checking with the kitchen. The wings we ordered were buffalo and we got some weird teriyaki, my ribs were cold and you can tell they were not cooked long enough and 14 dollars for a plate of chips with a dollop of chicken salad is insane. Come here if you love to be disappointed. Atmosphere is okay other than the gloomy workers wondering around the place like zombies. Smiling and kindness must not be permitted or they would be fired. Sides of potatoes salad, mac and cheese and coleslaw were good, but nothing extraordinary. Compared to peg leg porker in Nashville, Schaefer Farms in the Lawrenceburg area, and Boot Scootin' in Columbia, this location doesn't compare in quality, quantity or price. 2 meals with a beer and a wine, $85 with tip. Paying for the Franklin location for sure, but the BBQ should be better. We did have a constant drip on our table from the AC above us, but it's been extraordinarily hot and humid. read more

I'm a fan of Edley's Bar-B-Que, and a fan of The Factory in Franklin, so I'm super happy about this new location. And today I had the best meal I've ever had at any Edley's location ever! I got the Tri-Star Platter, which is sort of like saying you want a little bit of everything. Everything on the plate was executed to perfection. I've never had Beef Brisket this good at any Edley's location. It was just melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The Pulled Pork was tender and smokey as always, and the Pulled Chicken with White Sauce was super tasty. I got the Potato Salad and Baked Beans, which were both excellent. They have both indoor and outdoor (covered) seating, and a pretty good number of tables. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. I was actually thinking I should wait a bit longer to try out this new Edley's location, as they just opened a few days ago. But I gave it a shot, and I'm so glad I did. This is far and away my favorite location for Edley's. Now they gotta just keep up the great work, because my first meal at this new location was amazing! read more

I came here while on vacation with friends that are local and I was completely impressed! Their BBQ was absolutely delicious. I tried the brisket, ribs, sausage and majority of their sides. Everything was unique and flavorful! Their cornbread was amazing and I loved the coleslaw. Their service was great and they had a great beer and drink selection. Their seating area is wide open and comfortable. We had a large party and they accommodated us without delay during lunch hours. We drove 15 minutes to Edley's for dinner but were greatly disappointed by their inventory. I really wanted some fresh pork and macaroni. This location was unfortunately out of macaroni and cheese, turkey, and green beans. They don't have many other side options that I find enticing. We drove 11 minutes south to the Sara Avalyn Berry location. The second location had no chicken, pork, ribs, or fries. This location just recently opened in The Factory in Franklin. There is a reason they keep opening new locations- It's great BBQ. I've been to several locations and they keep the food, price and service consistently very good. I've had quite a few items off the menu and I keep going back. We went for lunch around 11:30 and by the time we left around 12:45 it was getting very busy. There is plenty of free parking at The Factory, but it is a challenge to find a spot on Saturday especially becuse of the Farmers Market. Our food came out in about 15 minutes and was hot and fresh. They had some blues and county music playing low with a full bar if you want an alcoholic beverage. They do have some TV's spread throughout the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you want some Tennessee style BBQ with some awesome sides and some good ole southern corn bread you can't go wrong with Edleys. Now that Edley's is in the Factory, we have a difficult decision to make between it and Mojo's. So the resolution is just to come to the factory more often. Last week our party of 10 was received attentively by the manager or barkeeper, who made sure that we were able to find a good table to seat our whole group. All of us enjoyed our meals. I enjoyed the fried ribs special although I may standardize my order on the burnt ends and grits. They're hard to beat.
