    Roast beef brisket sandwich
    Val B.

I love the farmhouse feel of this cute cottage with its beautiful wooden beams on a vaulted ceiling. This place is always packed so expect a full parking lot and wait for a table. The waitresses are very busy as well so it's not easy to get their attention. It's a fairly large menu so we split a shrimp basket and the roast beef brisket sandwich. The shrimp were excellent, just slightly battered and very tasty. The brisket was good but needs a kick of something like a tasty sauce or cheddar cheese. The fries and cole slaw were good too. I'd be willing to go back and try another sandwich.....

Been awile since Ive been hear. I always liked the decor of this cafe. And the staff, I was hear on a Thursday morning and barley anyone in hear. Orderd full stack of French Toast and waited awile for it. About 35 min. For a place that was not packed that seem kinda along, and especially with the high price of the food. It be out alittle faster. I can't denie the fact that it is well kept up place. So made the reason for the high priced food and the specials they have its only 2 and they are even on the pricy side. I might come back in the future if around the area but definitely won't be my go 2 spot for breakfast!!

Couldn't ask for a better breakfast (and healthy). Karen had a veggie omelette and I had eggs florentine plus berry crepes. DELICIOUS! Fresh veggies and fruits. Great service. Quaint atmosphere. We'll be back again soon.

I love having a local cafe that has something for everyone in the family, with good home cooking and friendly staff.

We come here for breakfast. Usually very crowded. Plan on waiting and it is cramped if jammed inside when it's cold out. Food is good.

Great service, fresh eggs, awesome home fries and the first place I've seen who can grill a Corn Muffin. First time here. I'll be back.

Servers are very inexperienced. Food was diner quality. Every time door opened a rush of cold air came in.

So happy that I have rediscovered Canal Street a few times since our first visit. This Greek…read morerestaurant has consistently delivered on taste and cozy ambience, whether a family dinner or a date lunch. Apps this time included cold dips and my favorite version of grape leaves. Meat dishes - especially lamp chops and blackened salmon were big winners. Carb cakes also crispy to perfection. Lemon potatoes were the all around favorite. Baklava was a treasured dessert and converted even my picky younger daughter over to Baklava (chocolate mousse also rich and delish). So glad we have had many great meals here and that Canal Street was such a nice place to have a weekend dinner with friends.

I mean how many times have you asked for a medium burger only to get it well done? Compliments to the chef on that alone but also on the Moussaka. Both the vegetable and classic Moussaka are standouts. Sooo delicious. Our server was excellent. Friendly, timly and wanted to please. It added to a perfect dinner. Reservations were honored. The restaurant wasn't full on Sunday night, but you never know...still better to have a reservation. And who dosen't love a byob!! Not sure why we haven't been here in a while but we will put it back on our top 5 local place to go. It checks every box.

Difficult to find office complex cafe in Yardley (actually, Lower Makefield), off Stony Hill Road…read more It is in the 790 Building which is in the middle of this corporate center. Signage is minimal. The easiest path is to walk around the right end of the building, locate the outdoor patio dining area, and enter through that door. Otherwise, you will be walking down long hallways without assurance you will reach your destination. Obviously, The Weekday Cafe (nice alliteration), is meant primarily for the folk who work in the complex, but if I owned the business, I would want to cast a larger net. This is the third food operation at this location in about as many years, so they have their work cut out for them. Getting the word out beyond this small universe is critical. And, while the attractive shop is diminutive, it is worth discovering. They do a decent breakfast with a limited menu and good coffee. Service is friendly and efficient. My "Early Riser" sausage, egg and cheese on toasted English muffin was solid and cost only $2.95. The java flowed hot and strong. This morning, a few other office workers came in to pick up something to take to their desks, but not enough to make a success. Hopefully, their lunch trade carries them. They do have two other similar locations in Ewing and Hamilton, NJ, that are larger and also require excellent tracking skills to find, but seem to be doing well. As this Weekday Cafe is closest to home, I wish them good luck and smart advertising.

The breakfast commuter special is just about the only thing they got going for them at a reasonable price. There are other options in the area if you are willing to drive 5-10 minutes.
