tell me why this burger - which was a 6.5 at best - cost me $33 when the pickles were bland, there was no caramelized onions included, i needed to ask for aioli because the burger lacked sauce, and this burger doesn't look anything like the pictures or what other people got when they ordered this burger. the burger also wasn't on the menu (and yes, thankful that the waiter went back in the kitchen to ask if this burger could be made) and the waiter didn't share price transparency and instead i ended up wasting $70 for two of these. in this economy? disappointed, wishing for a refund, and i definitely won't be back for this overpriced burger when i could go to in n out and get better quality for a fraction of the price. also wtf this burger is $10 during happy hour - hello?????

I had my birthday dinner here and it was incredible!! We had an area that was a little more private which was nice. The service was great and everything we ate was soo good. We shared a bunch of appetizers with the table including Straciatella, Honey Butter Bread, Shrimp Toast, Wontons and Hamachi. For the mains, my husband and I shared the Prawns and Roasted Duck. We truly enjoyed everything we had and the breads were to die for. Will definitely be back!

Unexpectedly loved it... such a beautiful space and such good vibes in it. Delicious surprise is how Asian leaning alot of the dishes are. I didn't know that based on just the name and was so pleasantly surprised. Our half Asian kid (the true foodie of the crew) loved every. single. dish. Little gem salad usually a throwaway dish was perfectly seasoned. One of the best salads I've had in La Shrimp toast so delightful and crispy crunchy big portion devoured by our kid Duck tacos were an incredible take on Chinese duck Miso Salmon was melt in your mouth ridiculously smooth they must sous vide it Drinks super balanced and yummy Service was on point - not overly stuffy but felt cared for the whole time The Ube cheesecake desert was so light fluffy balanced. Thumbs up from our foodie barometer.

Had an absolutely lovely Sunday night dinner here! I asked my server for recommendations, ordered them, and was very pleased. I had the Bread Service (epic miso honey butter that I still think about), the Duck Breast (so good), and Tres Leches cake for desert. Everything was so delicious and the restaurant itself is gorgeous, with lovely decor and mood lighting. Will definitely come back!

Decided to try here on a Sunday night, not knowing that they have this amazing Sunday Night Omakase! Didn't know what to expect because it's not like a Japanese sushi restaurant where you'd expect different sashimi / nigiri etc. But see photos, First off, the staff (host, waitresses, Pamela especially) were so kind and welcoming and listened about my allergies. The food was delicious, and way too filling! We got the Omakase which was enough for 2, but also the short rib which just made us way too full. Also, the interior decor and design is stunning! Feels like out of a fancy architecture magazine. Can't wait to come back!

Another Sunday dinner - another 5 star experience. We joined for the Chinese takeout themed night. They seriously never miss. My favorites were the bread service (flatbread fresh out of the oven over honey butter), sweet and sour chicken, the peas, and chocolate mousse, but the standout winner for the night was the noodles!!! We fought over the last bite. Love to see that more people are coming here. It will be cool to know we found it before it got popular and books out weeks in advance. First date, nice family dinner, just don't want to cook... try the Sunday omakase. It's legit.

I went here for dineLA with a group of friends. Total was $45 for dinner, not including tax and tip. 3 courses included. We ordered the bread service, chili wontons and shrimp toast to start. Their bread was so fluffy and delicious and the shrimp toast was also very flavorful. Wontons were good but the least favorite of the 3 appetizers. We ordered the salmon, skirt stead and short rib rendang as entrees. The short rib was a on the spicier side, but all the dishes were cooked and flavored really well. We ordered both desserts (chocolate pot de crème and pandan rice pudding) and I enjoyed the chocolate dessert more but they were both delicious. Not sure if these items are on their regular menu but we really enjoyed the dineLA menu. There is a paid parking lot attached to the restaurant. There is also street parking available.

Wow, has this place has fallen hard. We came when it first opened and was blown away, then returned tonight (with friends! Ugh) and it was AWFUL. First red flag was how long we had to wait after we were seated for anyone to come over, but that can really be forgotten if the food hits. The bread with miso honey butter gave us a promising start to the meal. Fresh, hot, flavorful, excellent. But man, did it go downhill fast from there. If you're going to call it a panzanella salad, there better be bread all over that thing, but no, I had two measly pieces. Then the chili mushroom noodles were absolutely disgusting and literally inedible. The noodles were mush and the sauce was so heavy on the acid with nothing to cut it, it was so bad. The burger, which we loved so much the first time, was overcooked and bland. No flavor. The fried chicken sandwich was meh, the sauce was missing depth. Both were TINY, more like sliders than actual sandwiches, and for $18 each? Get outta here with that. The short rib was the best thing we had, the steak was ok, both were pretty standard. Then for dessert, the pandan rice pudding had a nice pandan flavor, but the mango was so underripe, you could barely taste the mango flavor. Dang, I hate it when a restaurant wastes my calories and money. What a downfall. What a shame. What happened??

Great local restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. Ordered the Shrimp Toast, Wontons, Yellowtail Rolls, Snap Peas, Mushroom Pasta, Caesar Salad and Salmon - the best! Our server was excellent and recommended some great Italian wine to go with our entree. The atmosphere and ambiance is amazing and the restaurant is beautiful. They recently updated their menu, will be back again the try the rest of the menu.

DINE LA $25 LUNCH Came for a late lunch to take advantage of the DineLA deal where you get an appetizer, entree, & dessert. As a SOLO diner I was hoping for a quicker in & out however an expected 45min - 1hr lunch ended up being 1.5hr. I believe management was aware that they were moving a bit slower this day because twice someone came to apologize for the WAIT. I also had NO CELL SERVICE so I will admit that time was moving excruciatingly slow due to the lack of distraction & entertainment from my phone. Shout out to the BARTENDER because she did offer me a GRAPEFRUIT MOCKTAIL while I was waiting for my food. It was very refreshing & I truly appreciated the gesture. (3/5): SHRIMP TOAST: visually beautiful I loved the sesame crust however the "toast" portion was very oily. I'm not sure if it just wasn't properly drained but each bite was hard to get through. (4/5): SKIRT STEAK BENTO BOX: the Pho Butter & Nuoc Cham seasoning really did make each bite of steak taste like a bowl of pho & I enjoyed it very much. The charred green beans were also delicious (2/5): PANDAN MANGO RICE PUDDING: I have a pretty big sweet tooth but I was not a fan of this dessert. The rice was a tad undercook for my preference. The pandan flavor was also was not strong enough to taste. I did not finish it & I wouldn't get this again. This experience was more a 3.5 for me. Food was ok but the service was great. The restaurant is stunning with the wood accents & greenery. It felt like a beach town restaurant. Their DineLA was a great deal because if I were to purchase each item separately my total would have been $58. I'm glad I was able to try Edgemar at a discount price

Great spot for a super relaxed beach side atmosphere. We were lucky enough to have Justin as our server/bartender who went above and beyond to share his recommendations. Really appreciated the attention to detail showcased by Justin which elevated our first visit dining experience here. Food paired perfectly with the drink options which allows you to truly enjoy you dining from start to finish. Thank you Justin, see you next time!

Extremely disappointing. I had so much hopes for this place, hearing how great the burger was. They do have an excellent happy hour price wise, but the food was seriously lacking. The entire table, each ordered a burger, and we tried most of their appetizers as well. Service was wonderful, they were very friendly, and the food was ready quickly, which is why we decided not to mention how horrible the food was. Not just the burgers, but every appetizer was consistently worse than the next. Unfortunately, not worth returning.

Most of the bars are dive bars in downtown Santa Monica, and parking is quite accessible for this place. So I'd recommend for that reason. In terms of the drinks, I'm a huge fan of cocktail but I would say their menu selections are a bit limited. Nothing in the signature cocktail looks interesting to me, so I had the bartender make a classic cocktail instead. He's very attentive and friendly, didn't take forever to get a drink either, no attitude. Drinks aren't watered down either. Nice! You come here to grab quick drinks when you don't feel like being at a loud dive bar in the area, it's in a hotel but not too upscale, no strict dress code. Music is not loud and they have couches and booth if bar table if not your thing, you don't have to yell or pretend you hear everything to hold a conversation here (lol). ** Keep in mind 20% gratuity is automatically included in bill, it's my first time here. But I think I've other spots I'd prefer to be in, even at Santa Monica. Wouldn't be self-motivated to come back because there are better places that specialises mixology, and there are also better upscale hotel bars to be at. But if you're around the area it's a great intimate bar for date night that's not overly pricey. Wouldn't travel all the way to here just for this (if you know what I mean).

The amount served was completely disproportionate to what we were charged and it ultimately felt like a scam. To make it worse, the shots were served in plastic cups that were smaller than a NyQuil dose cup, which made the whole thing feel even more ridiculous given the price. If you are charging premium bar prices, at least pour a proper amount and serve it in real glassware. On top of that, the attitude from the bartenders and much of the staff was rude and dismissive. This was not just my opinion. Our entire group felt the same way, and we even heard similar complaints from other patrons while we were there. What is most frustrating is that this still has not been made right. There has been no meaningful resolution and no accountability. It was a lil' thicker than your typical mango lassi, but the faint sweetness did a great job at masking the earthiness of the kava. It was bomb and I would have loved to order 2 but I hadn't eaten so that was not the move lol The space has their own parking lot, as well as easy street parking. Appreciate that the bartenders were attentive and that the place wasn't too full or busy. Happy hour drinks are worth the price. The regular cocktails are good but cannot compare to more well known places. I liked that there were bar seats, standing tables and seated areas. I wish they had some bar snacks but because they don't offer food, you can bring your own.

It had a cool vibe and tons of allocated bottles on the bar (tequila and whiskey and whisky to name a few categories). The staff greeted us quickly and supplied us with some menus. I opted for the Idyllwild cocktail and loved it! It had the most complementary flavors and was so refreshing with the bourbon, yuzu, chartreuse, honey, and lemon flavors. My husband opted for a neat Caballito Cerrero Puntas pour (high proof agave spirit). They only had 0.5 Oz for their bottle and only charged for the partial pour. People came in and ordered anything from cocktails to neat pours to flights. It was a cool spot and the bartenders seemed pretty well versed in different cocktails, giving a few suggestions to different patrons. Even making a few Espresso Martinis for a couple of girls that didn't really like their initial cocktails. Staff was cool, attentive, and pretty quick and efficient with the pours. I'd definitely be down to try more drinks here if we roll through again. Luckily, we found some close street parking and it wasn't super busy so we easily found parking in the area. It also wasn't super packed in the venue so we could've opted for other seating--lounge areas, a few tables, or just at the bar.
