    Irish coffee

No brainer sports bar to go in Santa Monica/ Venice area. We came here on a Monday night, it's easier to get a drink. Service is never magnificent here but it's a decent spot to hang out with friends and have conversations over happy hours BOGO drinks. I got an Irish coffee mocktail (basically coffee), and it's not bad. I was surprised it's better than the coffee at Starbucks with a cheaper price. My friend got a cider it's nice when you come here during happy hours, the drinks are buy 1 get 1 free! Ambience is decent Irish bar vibe, sometimes they have karaoke nights where it gets super loud. Weekends are crowded too. Casual spot that you could show up in jeans and hoodies.

I love me a good Irish bar. Especially one that I can comfortably watch the Celtics play in LA at. ;) Coming from Boston, there's no happy hour here so I was pleasantly surprised that there was a buy one get one happy hour special going on when we sat. We ordered a dirty Shirley, angry orchard, and Michelob ultra amongst the 3 of us and got 6 drinks to the table at once. Obvi it's a little excessive lol but it was such a vibe. Highly recommend the pretzel with cheese. So good. Also the Irish nachos over fries were yummy too. We also got the peanut butter shots - a must try here.

We came here twice in one day. Once before the beach, and then after the beach for happy hour drinks. The place is perfect because it's so close to the beach and has a great vibe. Our service both visits was amazing and the food hit the spot!

Fun Irish Pub! Nice place to hangout with friends and go for drinks. They also have delicious pub food as well, I highly recommend trying their Peanut Butter Shots and Shepards Pie. They also have good drink deals and live music, and karaoke on certain days. Good vibes!

Really solid sports bar. This location's been around for a long time. I'm a fan because they don't charge cover fee for the UFC fights. It's been a while since I've actually tried to watch UFC fights at bars, so I'm not sure if any of them cover anymore, but it was pretty awesome that they didn't. Other than that, the space is pretty huge and it could get really crowded really fast. It's in a high traffic area. The beers and drinks themselves are pretty standard. I would say at sports bar and I don't mean that as a bad thing. With crowded bars, I usually get worried about getting served, but the folks here are pretty solid and on top of it.

Food was pretty good. I had the bbq chicken sandwich and it was very filling. Husbands had tacos and he enjoyed them: especially for a non-Mexican place. Drinks and service were good and atmosphere was nice with plenty of seating at tables, bar, and outside. We parked behind the building.

This bartender is the most rude I have ever encountered, why on earth is this man representing your business is beyond me, the most crazy experience I have ever had in a bar ever. I was genuinely shocked by his behaviour. I've worked in hospitality and if I did this I would be fired.

I liked the taste of food and alcohole but the cocktail was same price as the food, I don't think that this cocktail worth it. But I like the ambience and my little delicious Shepard pie

Yeah, it is a regular pub with lots of beverage/ coctail /alchol options. They have meals as well

Will you be televising the LSU vs AL football game again on Saturday 11/5/22?

Is there usually a line friday nights? And if so, what time do you need to get there so no more than 30 minute wait?

No line at this pub. But, can be crowded. Standing room only, so don't count on getting a table or even a seat at the bar. No idea how early to get there to avoid this. 6… Read more

Is this place dog friendly? I have seen dogs before?

Absolutely!!! I would just be smart about when you bring your pup because it does get crowded😎

We found ourselves in Santa Monica a few weeks ago, so we decided to stop by for a late lunch. We were surprised to see how big the place was. Between the restaurant, bar/pub, and shop, the establishment took up almost an entire block! The inside was themed perfectly. We felt like we had been transported to some of our favorite spots when we visited London. Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly sat by a friendly woman in a suit. Although the other ladies around were also very nice to chat with, we can't say that the service throughout the meal was great. Two of the women were sitting down for a majority of the time we were there just chatting with each other, and when other diners in our area would try to flag either of them, they would preface the response to the request with, "I'm not your server, but let me see what I can do." Then, after about 30 minutes of this, they just stood up, announced they were clocking out, and left. Only one woman was left there to serve the entire restaurant: inside and outside. She barely even checked on us and we couldn't get any requests in. Toward the end of our meal, the busser ended up helping with requests, but at that point, we were already trying to get the check to pay and leave. It was such a frustrating experience which is a shame because we actually loved the fish and chips! We ordered it King Size (2 pieces) in the original style. So good and cooked to perfection! Also, generous size fish. We're hoping this was an off occurrence and would likely give them another try in the future if we're in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip just to revisit. The fish and chips were so good and we would be interested to try more off of their menu if and when the next time may occur.

Don't be surprised when you see more check ins and pics from me taken here. It's Santa Monica - so unless you haven't been - I shouldn't need to explain parking to you. Follow these instructions and you'll see what I mean. It's two stories, both indoor and outdoor seating. Tv's everywhere. Good for watching sports. Which is why I was there on a Saturday morning. Met up with some Penn State Nittany Lions fans who invited me to watch the game with them. The Brit is a PSU and also a Philadelphia Eagles hot spot. I was the first person there. Met Sonia - not sure if I'm spelling her name right but she was very friendly. There was another staff member who showed up and was the primary server but I don't remember her name. She was attentive, courteous and handled her business both indoors and out. See pics. went for a breakfast sandwich - though I did throw back a few adult beverages. For bar food, the prices were great and the food was good. The drinks were drinks - Bourbon, Beer and a Bloody Mary. Not overpriced and not stingy on the pours. It was a fun time - not rowdy but supportive fans. I don't know what it's like in the evenings but I'd definitely stop in to check it out instead of going to another place nearby that I usually find myself at.
