We notified them on 6/12/24, on 6/24 George himself came out to look at the pan and measure the closet to see if a new appropriate drain pan would fit because not all comply with current codes. He ordered the new drain pan, scheduled to have it installed but also commented on the review I left, he asked if he could come by. We said he could come verify our statements when the pan was installed but his team Brian and David were well aware of a number of issues prior to our final payment. Today, August 2nd the new drain pan was installed as George did acknowledge that is the proper installation for the set-up we have. He also reviewed a number of items, offered to fix what he could. While it was a nice offer/gesture, our experience with the team (Brian & David and all the sub contractors) made it impossible for us to accept. George indicated he was not aware and that a number of these items could have easily been punch list items to be taken care, but that option was never given to us. George did in fact reimburse us for a different issue. I'm grateful George stepped in and that he was willing to at least look into it. I'm more grateful he acknowledged and did correct the drain pan and I appreciate his offer to correct what he could. The crew that was here did an excellent job (from what we can tell as of today). It's unfortunate it had to be escalated but I can confidently say, when it was, George did everything he could to get taken care of appropriately. He communicated frequently and everything went very smooth.

The drywall and framing work were done beautifully, and what really stood out was that Chris came back later to check on everything and make small touch-ups, just to be sure the work held up. That level of pride and follow-through is rare. They painted the ceiling black and were meticulous--no missed spots, no shortcuts. Everything was done with care. We agreed on a timeline, and they started when they said they would, finished on time, and left the space spotless when the job was done. To make things even easier, we simply picked out samples from Home Depot, and Chris and his team handled all the materials. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. All we had to do was make one call, do a little planning, and enjoy our new basement one to two weeks later. And honestly, our basement is now one of our favorite parts of the house. It's peaceful, quiet, and truly enjoyable. What we expected to be just a more functional space turned into a place we actually love spending time in. The whole experience felt exciting--almost like Christmas morning--watching it come together. The results completely exceeded our expectations. We're really happy we chose Chris and his team for this project. The contractor that came in could not install GFCI outlets because the openings cut into the backsplash that Regency installed were incorrectly sized, not thoughout, and misaligned with the electric box in the wall. One outlet was simply uninstallable because the installation posed a short circuit risk. I have to close it up purely due to shoddy backsplash work. Sloppy backsplash work, terrible tilework at the edges, grout slapped on. This contractor cut corners because they were lazy and it shows in the details beyond just the backsplash. I finished a full home remodel over the last 6 years with different contractors. Regency was the first I contracted with and the one I regret the most. I DO NOT recommend this company.
