During the conversation he began to threaten us when we told him to just walk away and we would not be paying the balance. We could not afford another 1 or 2 nights in a hotel )vapors) and giving the threats he first made to my son and then to me I wanted nothing more to do we this company. He thretend a contractors lien if we didn't pay him for "not" finishing the job. This guy was scum. Period. If this is a new owner then fine, but if its the same owner stay away. Anyone who threatens to sue you when they were at fault and refuses to compromise with you is not someone you should do business with.

There were some dingy areas from sun exposure and areas with darkening from water. I called them on a Monday morning, Sam came over that same morning and gave me a quote, and they started on Tuesday. The floors and stairs looked fabulous after their work! I was worried (ok, paranoid) about dust since I'm quite allergic. As a hobby woodworker with a lot of dust capture equipment, Arlington Hardwood must use some serious filters and vacuums because I didn't think it was possible to leave that little dust behind. There was just a tiny bit on flat surfaces that had the consistency of flour. The floors are now gorgeous and I'm so glad we had them done before moving anything into the house. I only wish he did Zelle for payment. One thing I really like is that the owner actually does the work, so you know it will be done well, and you're getting his experience.

Peter is probably one of the most professional contractors I've ever hired. He confirmed the start of the project the day before, showed up on time every day of our 3-4 day project, finished at a decent hour (so we could have our evenings to ourselves), and kept me informed about the progress of the project every step of the way. Everything was contracted and professionally handled in terms of invoicing. He made suggestions for how to improve the appearance of our home in certain places and gave us up-front pricing about every additional change we could add on if we wanted (we took all of his suggestions and so glad we did!). He paid such great attention to detail, fixing so many errors throughout the house that previously were there...things I didn't even know needed fixing! So many of our doors were not sealed correctly and the flooring was all a mess, they fixed it all for us. This was a big project for us - we saved for a whole year for this project - I am so happy we chose to work with IDC. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

I had heard of a cabinet line online that offered a high gloss, flat slab, Euro-style kitchen line. I reached out via their website for a quote based on a cabinet layout I had already planned. Pricing seemed in line with other quotes I had gotten, so I went to see the cabinets in person. Unfortunately, that week that line's distributor let the company know they were discontinuing the white high gloss finish. Derek was very transparent about the situation and recommended against buying the cabinets in case anything went wrong, as they'd be hard to replace. He guided me in remaining available lines and what he would and wouldn't recommend. He quoted a framed flat slab cabinet that would work for my needs, and he even pointed me to a local company that he doesn't sell in his store, but knows was the type of cabinet I'd been looking for. The tile we saw at other places (Home Depot, Menards) was about the same price point for the nicer stuff at Home Depot, etc, so don't be deterred. Yes, you can spend a TON here but there are reasonably priced options too- and they don't rush you/pressure you. We also called the shop a few times with installation questions and the staff answered all of our questions. Some people noted issues with the return policy- I can't speak to that because we haven't had to return anything yet. The receipt states you can return whatever you don't use- but I recommend asking about that policy since others state they had issues with it. Only one tile arrived cracked and the shop sent a replacement. One box of tile was missing, and the shop immediately sent a replacement for that too. As with any big order, count everything when it arrives and call the shop immediately if needed.

White Rabbit did a "magical" transformation of our garage floor! -- an amazing improvement -- better than we had imagined. The installation crew of Jim and Arnold are wonderful. They are most accommodating toward customers, hard-working, knowledgeable and provided a job well done! White Rabbit is fortunate to have them as representatives of their company. The sales representative, Fred, had the patience and willingness to "go the extra mile" to be sure we were satisfied throughout the ordering process and after the job was complete. He was positively responsive to our every question and request. It is difficult to find a business these days that has a professional salesperson who is trustworthy, no pressure, has fair prices, promises a job well-done, follows through and fulfills his promises. Fred provided all of that and sent out capable installers, too. It was our pleasure doing business with Fred. We would not hesitate placing another order with Fred and White Rabbit. I called White Rabbit to ask for a quote on getting my garage floor repaired and coated. The sales rep, Fred, came out within a couple of days. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and well-dressed. It didn't take him long to explain all of the options and to show me samples of the many color choices. The price quote was very similar to one that I had from another company. But Fred's easy-going and sincere manner helped me to decide on the spot to go with White Rabbit. The morning of the installation we had a torrential rain and I thought they would cancel, but the team showed up and just waited it out a bit. Thank goodness because everything was sitting in my driveway! The installers, John and Anthony, were very courteous and professional. They explained each step of the process and worked diligently all day. This job is a lot of work and it was hot that day but they didn't lose their smiles. I had a very unusual experience with White Rabbit this summer. Fred, the sales rep came out and did a great presentation. Many neighbors in my condo building were interested in having their patios refinished. He gave me his card and I emailed him to say we wanted to proceed. No response. Called his office and Theresa said to call his cell which I did and she would follow up and tell him I called. So now there was no email response, no cell call response from Fred and no call back from the office. I called the office one more time after a week or so and asked why there was no follow up or response. I was profusely apologized to by Theresa once again and that they would get back to me. Well, that was over a month ago. I am extremely disappointed in their lack of customer service! What seemed to start out as a very positive experience turned into a very negative one. My home, built in 1970, has an attached garage. Before White Rabbit installed cabinets and applied new flooring, hours spent organizing and cleaning would yield little difference in my garage's appearance. The old concrete floor had absorbed road grease over the years, and no amount of cleaning could prevent us from tracking this in our home. The situation was very discouraging. Sally spent much time listening and helping us with an organizational plan for cabinet configuration to suit our needs for garage storage and cleanliness. The work was done in an orderly manner within the expected time frame. The garage is easier to keep clean. Just got a new garage floor using polyurea from White Rabbit. The experience started out strong when Tony came to our house to provide the estimate. He was helpful but not pushy and very pleasant. On the day of the treatment, two men came early in the morning and were able to complete the job before the morning was over. The guys were kind and helpful about offering to answer any questions I might have. All in all, the cost what a little less than what I thought it might be, not a small investment but a worthwhile one. The stuffed rabbit gift was a nice touch that my children especially appreciated. I can't say how it will stand up, but I have high expectations. They offer a lifetime warranty so they must feel fairly confident as well. read more

Garage looks great, everyone I've shown it just is amazed. The work was done on a timely basis, the workers were well trained and happy to explain all the steps, and kept the job site clean and organized. My floor looks so nice! Lots of work they had to do, as it was necessary to completely remove the prior coating which looked older and not professionally done, they also had to repair a crack. They seemed to take pride in their work! Dylan, my sales rep covered everything as far as the process goes and what to expect and he was top-notch as far as customer service goes. The price was very reasonable also, they did a tremendous amount of work to make the floor look so nice. You cannot go wrong with Encore Concrete Coatings!

I would never recommend this company to anyone. They had the worst customer service. They did our…read moregarage floor and when streaking occurred on the floor they blamed it on the floor. We told them on Thursday what had happened and they couldn't be bothered to show up till the following Monday. The salesperson acted like he was doing us a favor to redo the floor. When it was pointed out this was turning out to be a three week ordeal ,that was forcing us to cancel Thanksgiving and a Christmas party , all the garage stuff was in the house, the salesperson was indifferent to the mess they had created.And after all that we had to pay extra for the pod rental and move everything back in freezing weather because they didn't finish the job when they had said they would.
