What a very charming hidden place. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. They start you off with a bowl of popcorn. I ordered the loaded nachos with chicken. It was tasty and I like that it wasn't overly huge. It's a good size for one person as I did finish the plate. Normally, I cannot finish nachos because the appetizer is usually larger, for more than 2 ppl. My husband ordered the Grove burger. He really liked it with his tater tots. The bar area is lit up with string lights and many patrons enjoying their drinks. Thursday night is Martini night. The outside patio has string lights, a fire pit, a stage for live music and plenty of seating. What a serendipitous place. It's a fun place to go to. We will be back. See pics.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance, we dine there at least once a week and Every time is a great experience.

Fajita Wrap Good flavors. A bit soggy. I would say order with sour cream on the side to spread it out more than 1 spot.

Service was still good. Ordered the fajita wrap and the Cuban sandwich. Fajita wrap had good flavors but was a bit messy to eat and got soggy inside. The menu says Cuban served on white bread. My husband was not a fan of that since it wasn't like a traditional Cuban.

Love this place in the quaint little corner of downtown Spring Grove. It's a perfect bar and grill with a heated porch for the winter. I've not been here for 5 years, when my daughter used to live down the street. It had good food then and still does. The service is welcoming and very attentive in all the good ways. They say good night when you leave and thank you for stopping in. Such a gem. Of yeah - great burgers and specialty drinks. The potato pancakes are think and almost like a hash brown. So glad this restaurant still has the small town friendliness and great food. Thank you!

The food is hit or miss. I got the chicken salad and the lettuce was very wilted and you could tell it was not fresh.

Decent jukebox, massive Coors on tap when we visited. We were both overheating because we were on a…read morelong walk and I think we stayed a little bit too long because my little cash ended up in the jukebox during our music war, I hollered at my guy for playing Weezer and a few people laughed but yeah, that was a silly day and the bartender was a very good sport. I'm going to order pizza and review it once I settle more in my new place. So far Spring Grove has never disappointed me. I used to vacation near here as a kid and we would always get excited to go camping at our site. I gotta say I never saw it coming! I did notice that a lady at the bar ordered a nice Italian Beef, it looked full and pleasing to the eye. She made it half way through and wrapped up the rest for her husband to finish for his late night snack which I found charming. I think I called her a better woman than I! Another guy was having something at the end of the bar but I didn't notice it. There were a couple of people in the front dining room and nobody on the patio, but I suspect that it is a different story in the evenings. Tons of televisions, sporty decor, clean bathroom, spotless kitchen and a fun menu. I will be back. I like getting pizza for takeout and sharing it with the beau walking back. It's exercise we agree upon.

Haven't visited much since new ownership took over so decided to return for 1/2 price pizza on…read more7-27-26. A familiar waitress was our server and that a definite plus Food came quickly as usual minus the cornmeal on the bottom of pizza ( not a problem for us) everything was great tasting and service great as well. Then came the bill... large thin crust meatlovers is advertised on the menu for $28. The bill charged us $18 instead of $14. Our other pizza was also priced not at a 50% discount. Asked our server if she could explain this difference she said when she started her shift she was told to ring things up this new way. Basic pizza is 50% off but all toppings are charged at regular price. That includes the specialty pizzas listed on the menu for a specific price. We figured we were charged $8 more than usual under this new policy. I'm not looking to get anyone in trouble just looking to expose what I think is false advertising. The original owner served true 1/2 price pizza and filled the restaurant last night the restaurant was really empty. I hope this isn't going to happen with other special nights ! It would be a real shame to lose a great restaurant that has a bar in a town where the normal is to have a bar that just happens to serve some food! Don't let this happen!

Man, is this place popular. Went there last night around 7 with a friend who is familiar with it…read more I'd never been, and if you don't know it's there it is a but of a hideaway but it was packed with people so you know it must be decent. It's kind of a typical bar and grill but has live music later in the evening, looked like volleyball and other stuff outside in the summer and do on. We sat at the bar at the first available seats. I have to say they were actually very padded and comfortable easy swivel on and off seats but kinda high for this "mature" non too tall gal to climb on. Next time it's a table for me thanks. So since it was Friday, officially fish fry day, that's what we both had. They have 4-5 different types of fish and it was a toss up between fried cod or sautéed Walleye. But again, it's fish FRY Friday so Fried battered cod it is. Lots of choices for sides too. I got fries and friend had potato pancakes. I tasted them and they were probably some of the best potato pancakes I've ever had. It came with rye bread and butter and coleslaw. As usual I could pass on the Cole slaw, and I thought the rye bread looked good but kinda unusual to me. Is that a Wisconsin thing? On to the fish. Great taste, moist, not overcooked and crispy batter. What more could you want. The fries were ok, and I appreciated they were not battered orange seasoned, just plain potatoes which is what I prefer. The bartenders were on top their game, efficient and friendly and busy as bees but knew when you'd like a refill of soda or another cocktail. This is a well deserved 5 star review if you're looking to have a traditional fish fry bar experience.

Possibly the best chicken tenders I've ever had!!!…read more This place is pretty unassuming. I came for the line dancing but I'll be back for the food. The chicken tenders came with ranch and a bbq sauce and as a sauce girl I LOVED both. I had no idea this place had won awards for their burgers. Basically what I'm trying to say is I'll be back to take a stab at the rest of their menu.
