I went in yesterday at 5:30 did a basic pedi (perfectly done) & then a mani. I usually have press ons because it's more affordable & I can grow out my nails. I just had soaked off and removed a set & my nails had a little residual glue & were fairly brittle but my cuticles were nice & well kept.... The woman who did them was in a rush & I was told it's her birthday so I was like okay totally fine like let's get you home to your family! She was looking around not paying attention & cut my cuticles/nail walls so badly I was bleeding. The polish was overflown, uneven & she skipped a coat on one hand. I didn't make a fuss bc I didn't want her to get in trouble especially on her birthday but wow they were awful & my fingers are still throbbing. I came in to get them fixed & had to do tips bc of how filed down they were & was charged 20 to do dip & extensions but I only did dip & extensions bc of the nubs & overly filed/uneven nails. It was quite painful getting them redone & she did glitter for free which is nice but personally if I hurt someone that much I wouldn't be charging a dime & would apologize. The woman who did my nails last night stood next to her the whole time & they were chatting which was uncomfortable in my opinion she also didn't apologize once& they chuckled whenever I winced or pulled my hand back out of pain. Would not go here again. Normally when I leave a nail salon I still have to clean up little bits of the dip/ glue or my cuticle. Not here. She did my short functional almond shape nails perfect and inspected them closely after they were 'done'. My nails look so smooth and natural and uniform it's unreal! Wish I got my techs name! Also, the massage I received during both manicure and pedicure were fantastic (I never expect much but I would pay top dollar here just for a massage)! Their polish selection was plentiful, and they even had matching gel polish and regular polishes!!! The scrub and lotion is handmade by the owner and smells amazing and is chemical-free. I hope that she starts selling some for clients to take home soon!
