My nail started to chip and also the nails flip back and forth because of how flimsy the gel polish was. I called her and she told me to come back to fix the nails. I called to make sure she was free to take me. When I got there she told me to go to her mom. Her mom did my nails like originally requested with the acrylic overlay. I told Kathy I'll tip her mom, and gave her mom my card. Her mom charged my card $55 for a full set. So I paid $135 within 2 days. And I was told it would be fixed. Her mom (owner) went on about how the nails was my fault, everything was my fault. Additionally, I was being overcharged at the register visits prior and I decided to ask for itemized charges and noticed the bill was lower. It looks like Kathy was trying to be slick. The way I've seen them treat customers nasty and the way Kathy causally drop the N-word on conversations front of me is nuts. And her sob stories. Also witness rude behavior of different race/shapes. I hadn't had a salon manicure in over 20 years when I got my first dip manicure at a different salon (not here) a month ago. They didn't do the coffin shaping correctly, but overall I was happy so I went back for my next set. This time, in less than two weeks I had two of the nails rip off-- one of which was very painful-- another that was peeling off of my nail. I called Silver Nails and they were able to take me the same day and they did an amazing job fixing me up! They did the removal process properly (soaking as opposed to sliding an acrylic up under there and popping off the dip nail), the red dip did not leave me with stained fingers like the other salon did, and the shaping was perfect. Not only that, but it was less expensive than the other salon! I was ready to go back to my press on nails before they restored my faith. I will definitely only be coming here from now on!
