Love Silver Nails... recently went to a boutique, high-end salon for nails with a design, paid $90 and left disappointed. Went to Silver Nails two weeks later and did a great job removing my poorly done nails and doing SNS tips. Love them!

I've been going to this salon for close to 10 years and I've never had a bad experience. My nails always look fabulous and they always fix even the tiniest flaws before I leave. My favorite thing about this salon is that when you become a regular customer you get your own box of tools. They use liners in the pedicure bowls and sanitize them afterwards, and disinfect the chairs and all equipment too. Highly recommend.

I needed a quick polish change while out and about running errands and Silver Nails was on my way. I was greeted and got in immediately (no surprise since it was 10:30am on a Friday). Although it was just a polish change I prefer my home salon. Silver nails just removed old polish, and repolished the nails. At my home salon they go the extra mile to push back and trim cuticles. It's like a pedicure without the soak! The polish change was $8, btw. I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn't wait long before heading out. I wanted to leave the little toe divider in while I drove to make sure my nails completed drying smudge free. Here is where the language barrier came into effect... I asked the girl checking me out if she minded if I left with the little divider (I assume and HOPE they don't reuse these) and told her I'd remove it on my own later. She asked if I wanted to keep them, as if that would be OK, then came over and whipped them off. OK.... Are they keeping these to reuse?!? The ladies were nice but it can be frustrating when they speak so little English.

Tina and Jim are a great tag team! Great service! I have been going here for years. Their pedicures are the best. They are clean and professional. You are assigned your own box of manicure tools. The chairs are state of the art. For Covid practices, there are plexiglass shields between you and the next customer.

So normally when I come here, my experience is great.... this past time not so much. I'll start from the beginning. I came in asking for a pedicure and a fill/full set for my SNS. I get asked to come back in an hour. I did. I came back and got my pedicure right away. It was just like any other pedicure, except I asked for all white and she gave me French tip... they look nice but it's not what I asked for. I then ended up getting my eyebrows waxed and they look amazing. Then I asked for an SNS fill which it them basically redoing the whole thing(I don't mind the process) the same lady I have told SNS to all night starts doing something different. I don't say anything because she was getting the color off, just faster than soaking. She asked me to pick a new color and I ask if they were SNS and she said yes. Then she broke 2 nails and glued them back together.( I was kinda pissed because I work hard to grow my nails) she used the drimel tool and was like burning my finger nails like 4 or 5 times to the point that I pulled my hand away. She then pulled out acrylic, and me knowing it was acrylic and not SNS, I asked if it was SNS. She said "oh you want SNS?" Like I have only been saying SNS the ENTIRE FREAKING TIME! SO she finally started the SNS and I ended up having to switch nail techs because my original lady wasn't sure what she was doing. I also have stuff around my nails left that I was told would take a few washes to take off instead of them just trying to take it off... I ended up leaving 40 minuets after they closed and I had multiple times when 3 or 4 ladies were standing around me talking in their language and I'm pretty sure it was about me. I'm really torn about the rating because usually I have a great experience, but today just kinda pissed me off.

This is the SNS nails that I got. Looks like overlay and gel in one, but it's not! Love this look. They said it lasts for 2-3 weeks.

She also tried to convince me to use gel polish for our pedicures, which I declined. During the pedicure, I was distracted by plans for later and didn't notice the technician's work until I felt pain in my toes. I realized that some gel polish was stuck and not dissolving in the hot water. At home, I discovered an infection from the waxing, the nail polish was chipping off, and my nail beds were damaged. The next day, I called the manager to explain the situation. The manager suggested that I might be allergic to shellfish, claiming that there was shellfish in the wax. He insisted that I needed to use gel polish since regular polish chips off after just a day or two and stated that they do not accept returns. I clarified that my concerns were related to potential bacteria or unclean practices during the waxing service. Furthermore, no one asked me if I had a shellfish allergy, which I do not have. I emphasized the significant damage to my toes, which was serious enough that I now needed to seek medical assistance. However, the manager kept repeating the same statements without addressing my concerns. Two days later, I visited a doctor for treatment. The doctor's office is located not far from Noire the Nail Bar, and during my visit, the doctor informed me that I was not the first patient to come in with serious issues following services at Noire the Nail Bar.

Yes they applied the antiseptic and it burned but I was not acknowledged at all not an apology or are you okay. I'm pretty nice about things I didn't make a big deal regardless but acknowledgment would've been nice just ignored. Also upon leaving and looking at them in the sun there's left over gel in spots from my last color and there's hairs in the gel that wasn't taken out that I can't get to cause it was painted over and hardened and lastly the pricing could have been on me I didn't check to see what recent rates are so I paid over $100 for a gel pedicure and gel filling not a manicure and I guess gel is an extra $15 on top of the filling that was $50??? I'm not sure recent pricing says $30 is more accurate so after the pain of the nicks and the imperfections I was upset to pay that much. I'll find another place thanks.
