I was there in March and I was told it sold, had new people and they job they did was awful; but I tried them again today. The same techs that used to be there are back! I had a fabulous pedicure. They have several price ranges that start at $29.00, which I got. It seemed to include everything that was important to me.... I have some seriously ugly feet and my tech made them look so much better. I am glad they are all back, I will return on a regular basis!!!! read more

The picture of rates is not up to date, a pedicure is now $28.00. So, I haven't been there in quite a while and I found out that the man who owned it sold it to the woman that did my nails today. None of the old staff was there. The owner kept trying to get me to upgrade; then she wanted me to scan a bar code with my phone for a free gift. I did not want to do that. Well, back to the nails; she kept jabbing my toe and I figured that was ok because perhaps I had not done a good job of filing the nail down. But when I got home and took at look at her work, the polish was awful; the cuticles had polish on them along with the sides of my toe. The polish was all bumpy instead of smooth as glass. While I was there, a woman told me that they have lost most of their clients after the sale. Also while there a woman came in because she had her nails done yesterday and they were peeling. They redid them for her without a hassle. BUT, who wants to spend the time having it done twice. I need to look for a new salon, what a terrible waste of money! read more

Would NOT recommend!! I got a mani and pedi. The pedi was great and felt amazing. I wanted a certain manicure and I was told "your nails are too short, and that's too hard". I felt that it was very dismissive and that I was being an inconvenience to them. I went to to Velvet Nail Bar downtown and was treated like royalty and got exactly what I wanted. read more

Don't normally write reviews. But this place is absolutely unsanitary. I had went in for a pedicure and spent $50 regular polish (that took almost an hour to dry because of how thick the polish is) . As soon as i sat down they were very pushy people as well. I watched them use the same file and buffer and pumice stone that they use on everyone else. After the person was pushing and cutting my cuticles he didn't even disinfectant the tools and used it to the person next to me. If i get an infection i will definitely be reporting then to the department of health. read more

*RACIST OWNER* This is my second time ime attempting to get my nails done TWO HOURS+ before closing and being told i cannot be seen. Today i arrive at 3:30 to be told they close at 5 and cant take anyone else. They had 2 white women getting pedicures and one white woman finishing up with her nails. When I asked why could i not be seen with two hours remaining and he said "I just not take anyone else good bye". 0 care, 0 customer service. I wont be returning. I've been going to this nail shop for abt 2 yrs. the owners Tuan and his wife Lisa are very nice. The customer service is great. They actually great the customers by name & hold real convos not just being nosy. The rest of the staff is equally professional. Their work is great. The prices are great: $20pedi $12 fill $10brow wax. The shop is clean and tools are either new or sanitized. I don't go anywhere locally. I love this place! read more

I have never written a bad review in my entire life even when service wasn't the best but this place deserves one. Came in for a pedicure at 4:25. The door said they take walk ins. I was told it would be a 30 min wait so I waited out in my car. Walked in at exactly 4:55 and I was seated in a pedicure chair right away. The lady who I believe is the receptionist came by a few times just smiling at me. No one let me know that I would be sitting there waiting for 48 minutes before they got started on my pedicure. I would have just came back an hour and a half later if I knew that would be the case. Aside from the wait, this was a PAINFUL pedicure. The lady was literally violent with my feet and my cuticles were even bleeding at one point while she was doing my pedicure. I would understand the need to be more aggressive if I didn't keep up with getting pedicures and keeping my feet hygienic but I get a pedicure every 3-4 at most, don't have callouses and I have never had someone be this aggressive with my feet. On top of that, it was extremely rushed to the point where it didn't even seem like they were at least trying to make it look good. Paid $42 for a "deluxe pedicure" (even though I asked for a normal pedi which they have listed as $22) just to have to go home and fix it myself. Safe to say I could have paid a random person walking on the street to give me a pedicure and they would have done a better job. You should probably avoid this place if you can go literally anywhere else, I didn't have that option since I did need a last minute pedicure before the weekend and my usual pedicure girl was fully booked until New Years. I understand getting what you paid for but at the bare minimum, you shouldn't have to walk out feeling like a torture device was used on your feet. If you HAVE to end up coming here, I truly hope you have a better experience than I did. read more

I went there for the first time this past week and had an SNS manicure done. Lisa really took her time on my nails and did a great job. They were shaped exactly as I asked and the color was perfectly even on all nails. I will definitely be going back. The staff know my family members by name because we frequent the establishment and they are always kind, friendly, and give the best massages. Worst experience ever! Came to the salon to get a pedicure around 6pm. About 630 as the young lady was polishing my toes I asked if I could get a gel manicure done as there was actually one other customer there in the entire shop that was also completing a pedicure. The response I received was no because they close at 7p and I should have told them when I came in. I was also asked if I could come back tomorrow. The response was no because I was already there so why would I come back. That in itself was BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I felt the young lady was doing a great job and decided that I also wanted her to do my nails which is provided them additional income and the response I get was no and can you come back tomorrow...absolutely unprofessional! Like how do you turn away a paying customer and even if it was to go over to 7:10 or 7:15 your business is based off of customer which your are turning away. Now this is why I believe you get what you pay for $22 versus my normal salon I go to and pay $35 where that never would have happened. Upon this situation happening the employees all started talking in there native tongue and laughing until I left. Again, UNPROFESSIONAL! Only reason they received 2 stars was because the lady did an awesome job on my pedicure, other than that it would have been no stars selected. read more

I wish I could give this place a double zero!!!!!!!! They are nasty and rude. I made an appointment explained that I would be on my lunch break. When I arrived the lady owners wife was doing a pedicure and scrapping someone's feet. She stopped ran water over her hands and walked right over to me to start my nails. I politely asked her if she could wash her hands. She said I DID!!!!! Before I could respond she said I don't think I'm doing your nails. I said that's ok you can get someone else. She walked to the back and came back and said NO ONE WANTS TO DO YOUR NAILS HERE!!!!!!!!!! Wth?? In this day in age when reviews are so important that's how you treat your customers? If I'm paying you any money for a service($40 to be exact) at minimal WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER DEALING WITH SOMEONE ELSES FEET. It's not like I asked for wine and strawberries.... people wake up make sure these salons are being as clean as possible. They were a bit rough with my pedicure. My toes hurt for days afterward & didn't feel very soft, in comparison to previous pedicures I've had. I asked to have my cuticles pushed back instead of clipped & she clipped them anyway, and left the bottoms as they were, not bothering to push them back. I have been coming to Kim's nails for about 3 years now. In the last year I don't come as often maybe about once a month. In the last year I have been really disappointed with the service, every time I come the nail techs are so rough while doing my pedicure. I have gotten cut and bled and scraped and they are so heavy handed while massaging my legs and feet. Today was the final straw! After using the foot scrub and barely rinsing my feet the tech was drying them and I kept explaining that I could still feel the grittiness of the scrub in between my toes. I understand that there's a language barrier but she didn't even pretend to care or try to understand. This place has gone downhill... I remember I used to come every week faithfully with my daughter and we would both get mani/pedis. Not anymore I only come now bc the location is convenient to my home but I'm tired of being manhandled. read more

NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. When i first arrived they were pretty busy shortly after they had me sit in one of the spa chairs while I waited for someone to become available. A gentleman came an proceeded to assist me and I expressed that I prefer a woman (due to horrible experiences in the past. Let me explain I take my nails VERY serious. Anyway, so I waited for a woman to become available. Luckily for me (or so I thought so) approx 30 mins after a lady comes by and informs me that I will get my manicure and pedicure done at the same time. I thought this was an amazing idea, way to make up time ! Well long story short the only reason why I am giving 2 stars as opposed to 1 is due to the customer service but my nails are TERRIBLE HORRIBLE. Almost every nail has polish missing from the side of my nail. My toes the lady doing them she messed up once removed the polish and then if I hadn't removed my foot away from her she would've removed it a second time due to poorly polishing the second time. It's not worth it. The prices may be good but the quality is CRAP. If you take your nails serious like I do, trust me. Pay the extra money. I only came here because my nail lady who charges the same prices was completely booked. Next time I'll wait. read more

I had to take my son with me one time because I had no other choice at the time and he was in his stroller not running around or anything but they still had a problem with that . I went to Kim's nail for the first time because I saw they were doing pedicures for $17. Great I'll give them a try. I walked in spoke to everyone, sat down and waited for the woman (Marie or Maria) to start my pedicure. She was not happy to see me for whatever reason, not sure because I've never seen this woman or been in this establishment in my life. So she begins she fusses at me because I had cut my toenails, because I cant stand my nails being long. I'm thinking that's why I'm here so that you can fix my nails. Anyway she starts popping me on my foot, my leg and I'm a plus size woman so I can shift whatever needs to shift to accommodate whomever is doing my nails. She keeps popping me to the point I'm thinking what would happen if I kick her in her chest. I tell her I'll put my leg however you want me to you need to stop hitting me. She does but she is not happy she starts making comments to the man next to her, hes looking at me and then smiling, so I know there is a meeting of the minds about me. So I figure no worries I'll never darken this door step again. Months pass I'm in a bind, my job is very close to this place, I'm on a break, maybe I'll give them another try, wrong!! This next woman burned both my feet, because she cut my skin, she was a butcher! All the while I'm thinking beauty is pain, but damn that! Shes killing my skin right now! Wow!
