I haven't gotten my nails done in quite some time. I originally got a full set with ClassPass for a special occasion in Tampa. So I wanted to get them filled nearby in Orlando. There are so many options for nail salons nearby but I decided to give The Nail Bar a try since it was so close. My nail fills only took 45 minutes and Trish did a great job. They have a wide selection of gel polishes, it makes it a little hard to decide but you definitely have endless options. I chose funny bunny which is a milky white with a pink/purple shine color on top and a glitter on the ring finger. I was a little unsure of getting a different shape, I'm used to square nails but it grew on me after. My nail fill with gel polish was $40. They do charge an extra $5 to shape nails almond/oval. Staff was super friendly, the place was clean and they had some nice pedicure chairs. I'll definitely be back, nice first visit. read more

Walked in, we were greeted and seated almost right away. We were asked to pick out our colors. My girl got a pedi. Not sure what package she got. She seemed satisfied. No complaints from her. I did a dip powder. My girl got a male tech. She was happy and satisfied. I was lucky enough to get Monica at chance. The whole salon was nice. The tvs we're going. I didn't sit in any of the chairs for a pedi so I can't comment on that. The shop Was busy. All techs were with a client. Monica was sweet. She definitely new what I wanted when I described it to her. Nails came out great! I was very happy with it. Next time I will have to make sure my nails are longer so I can do an ombré dip powder per her suggestion since my nails were too short this time around. I'm visiting Orlando for the week and wanted to get a manicure for an upcoming wedding over the weekend. I was able to call on Tuesday to make an appointment for the Thursday. So it was my first time here and I got paired with Monica. I liked the work she did and she was nice to chat with. I was offered water or wine. A notable thing about her is she was very gentle the entire time. It took about 50 mins to have my nails done which impressed me. Of course it would be longer if you have to clean off previous polish. She did a great job at making me feel pretty again. They were able to take me right away on a Thursday afternoon. Customer Service was friendly, and the place was steady. The equipment is definitely a little worn but nothing to deter you from treatment. My gel pedi was decent but due to the cramped design of the salon, I passed on a gel manicure. Service was decent, however, beware of their $20 EXTRA charge for gel on your toes. I went here for a quick gel pedicure and ended up paying more than $60 on the way out for a $20 up charge for gel. Nail Bar is simply the best! Jennifer specifically. my gel nails last forever when she does them. My last gel nail job with her lasted 6 1/2 weeks! No peeling and no breaking. Got me through a long trip to Italy. Of course they were grown out, but I didn't have to rush to go get them redone. Also, I love that Nail Bar has all of the current OPI gel colors and matching nail polish. Called this place since I was around the corner on New Year's Eve to see if I could get in. They got me in after a little bit of a 10 to 15 minute wait which was no problem. They were very attentive good at listening and professional. Tony was my nail artist, I will call it. This was my first-time visiting nail bar. I was specifically looking for a place that offered pedicures and eyebrow waxing. This was the first place that showed up when searching. They offer walk-ins but I made an appointment. Glad I did. The location is small, and walk-ins seemed to be waiting when I arrived. They were a little busy, so I had to wait in between a pedicure and eyebrow wax. I think they only have one person that offers waxing. Their prices are average compared to other nail locations. The cheapest pedicure is $25 and the most expensive is $65 if you are looking for the "spa" like service. It is conveniently located and there is plenty of parking.
