This is my favorite place to get my nails done ever. Their prices are reasonable and the way Tony and Jennifer run. Their business is incredible. Tony does amazing design but so does Jennifer and Alex and everyone there! Honestly, it feels like a big family going here! it's an incredible place!!! I was visiting Orlando over the weekend and I really needed a Mani-Pedi, so I decided to search nail salons on Yelp & came across The Nail Bar. I called & Jennifer the owner answered & was able to set me up for an appointment with Tony, her spouse. He greeted me & I sat quickly & he did a fabulous job on my nails and also taught me what to ask for when I get my nails done in the Keys. I haven't gotten my nails done in quite some time. I originally got a full set with ClassPass for a special occasion in Tampa. So I wanted to get them filled nearby in Orlando. There are so many options for nail salons nearby but I decided to give The Nail Bar a try since it was so close. My nail fills only took 45 minutes and Trish did a great job. They have a wide selection of gel polishes, it makes it a little hard to decide but you definitely have endless options. I chose funny bunny which is a milky white with a pink/purple shine color on top and a glitter on the ring finger. I was a little unsure of getting a different shape, I'm used to square nails but it grew on me after. My nail fill with gel polish was $40. They do charge an extra $5 to shape nails almond/oval. Staff was super friendly, the place was clean and they had some nice pedicure chairs. I'll definitely be back, nice first visit. read more

I always love coming here. All the staff are super nice. The environment is so clean they offer you a complementary drink. I received a quote for my acrylics and ask them to cut them down short since I work with animals so I don't want them long and they did a beautiful beautiful job!!! read more

First time there. Made an appt the week of for a Friday. 10 mins from my girl's house. Didn't expect to get who I got but I'm glad. In a nice plaza with other shops. Plenty of parking. Walked in, we were greeted and seated almost right away. We were asked to pick out our colors. My girl got a pedi. Not sure what package she got. She seemed satisfied. No complaints from her. I did a dip powder. My girl got a male tech. She was happy and satisfied. I was lucky enough to get Monica at chance. The whole salon was nice. The tvs we're going. I didn't sit in any of the chairs for a pedi so I can't comment on that. The shop Was busy. All techs were with a client. Monica was sweet. She definitely new what I wanted when I described it to her. Nails came out great! I was very happy with it. Next time I will have to make sure my nails are longer so I can do an ombré dip powder per her suggestion since my nails were too short this time around. She and I talked and the conversation was pleasant. I normally can't find techs that I vibe with. Monica and I hit it right off the bat. I hate to have to name drop because she's so good. I'm visiting Orlando for the week and wanted to get a manicure for an upcoming wedding over the weekend. I was able to call on Tuesday to make an appointment for the Thursday. So it was my first time here and I got paired with Monica. I liked the work she did and she was nice to chat with. I was offered water or wine. A notable thing about her is she was very gentle the entire time. It took about 50 mins to have my nails done which impressed me. Of course it would be longer if you have to clean off previous polish. She did a great job at making me feel pretty again. I brought a group here for maniicures & pedicures because of all the glowing reviews. I was disappointed. When I first walked in the racks of polish were full of half-filled bottles shoved at random on the shelves. There were a lot of brands-many I'd never heard of. During my manicure the tech cut into the cuticle on my thumb, & it bled for quite some time. It took about 3 weeks to heal. Another person in my group had one of her fingernails cut below the quick, which was a bit painful & also bled a bit. Our polish didn't stay on but 2 days. I was able to communicate to my tech through a couple of interpreters that my toenails needed to be filed straight across because of a propensity to get ingrown, & she did a decent job on that. Everyone was very polite & seemed eager to please, so I hesitated to write this honest review. While we were there, several customers who seemed to be regular ones, came to get different treatments on their nails that weren't natural manicures, & they seemed to be quite happy with the service, so perhaps that is more their specialty. read more

Typically I call ahead and make an appointment because they do get busy. The staff is so friendly and they do a great job and are efficient. They were able to take me right away on a Thursday afternoon. Customer Service was friendly, and the place was steady. The equipment is definitely a little worn but nothing to deter you from treatment. My gel pedi was decent but due to the cramped design of the salon, I passed on a gel manicure. No offer of water, soft drink or wine. Massage was okay. Good in a pinch if you need a quick in & out. read more

Tony and Jen (husband and wife) own this salon and let me just tell you, it's the best of the best here in Orlando. They are both amazing and their staff is also amazing. I followed Jen from posh when she left to open up the nail bar with Tony and she is a perfectionist. Any design you show her she immediately says "I can do that for you"! (She does it better)! Tony is the same a perfectionist. I can't leave out Nikki. Nikki is the sweetest and also is a perfectionist and takes her time when doing your nails. She is super personable and has the best people skills. The interior: clean, elegant, newly renovated and comfy. This is the only business I go to on repeat that is over 30 minutes away from my house. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Jen has transformed my nails, I used to have short nails that I would bite from habit and anxiety and since going to jen for over two years my nails are long, beautiful, & strong. Service was decent, however, beware of their $20 EXTRA charge for gel on your toes. I went here for a quick gel pedicure and ended up paying more than $60 on the way out for a $20 up charge for gel. This place should be ashamed charging prices like that. Never have I experienced paying that much extra for simple gel polish on toes. read more

Nail Bar is simply the best! Jennifer specifically. my gel nails last forever when she does them. My last gel nail job with her lasted 6 1/2 weeks! No peeling and no breaking. Got me through a long trip to Italy. Of course they were grown out, but I didn't have to rush to go get them redone. Also, I love that Nail Bar has all of the current OPI gel colors and matching nail polish. I cannot tell you how difficult it is to find OPI colors and places that always have matching regular nail polish. I have since moved to Texas and wish I could take Jennifer and Nail Bar with me. read more

Called this place since I was around the corner on New Year's Eve to see if I could get in. They got me in after a little bit of a 10 to 15 minute wait which was no problem. They were very attentive good at listening and professional. Tony was my nail artist, I will call it. He was very particular to what exactly I wanted, and did a perfect shape without hurting my cuticles or fingers. Very hard to find! I will be driving all the way from Lake Helen to return here just because of Tony and the excellent job he did quickly and efficiently! This was my first-time visiting nail bar. I was specifically looking for a place that offered pedicures and eyebrow waxing. This was the first place that showed up when searching. They offer walk-ins but I made an appointment. Glad I did. The location is small, and walk-ins seemed to be waiting when I arrived. They were a little busy, so I had to wait in between a pedicure and eyebrow wax. I think they only have one person that offers waxing. Their prices are average compared to other nail locations. The cheapest pedicure is $25 and the most expensive is $65 if you are looking for the "spa" like service. It is conveniently located and there is plenty of parking. You know...the typical shopping center nail salon. They do provide great service and I would go back. read more

My total came to $145 for both my nails and a gel French pedi. While I understand that's on the higher end, I would have been fine with the cost if the service matched what I asked for. Instead, it felt like there was a real lack of transparency and communication. I wish they had just been honest from the start about not being able to replicate the inspo.

Came in for SNS and pedi. Mid-day so the salon was empty besides me and 2 other ladies. Khem and few other employees. The pedicure was ok. The chairs are awkwardly placed so that they are all facing the doorway of the salon. When ever some one walks in their immediately granted with a view of your feet up . The pedi was short. I usually go to a local salon the pedi last about 30-40min. This one clocked in at 25min. My feer are pretty much already soft but I still appreciate a decent scrub. I decided on a SNS mani. They have a ton of colors to choose from. Khem kept rushing me to pick a color. I hate that. I'm paying for a service not to be rushed. I was served water in a dirty wine glass. Invest in some bottled water please. The mani consisted of dip in gel. My cuticles were never cleaned. The SNS was bumpy and lumpy. She tried to file them down with the drill instead of hand buffing them. I think this made them lumpier. My nails are significantly shorter than when I came in. Because of the drill on my cuticles I know have sore hangnails. I went and let my local nail tech smooth them down the next day. Will not be returning. read more
