My only problem was a went…read moreon a really dead night (Monday)and there was hardly anyone there, but on the flip side I had full control of the TouchTunes! They had lots of fun looking drinks but I just stuck with a vodka/cran. It was strong but not overwhelming like some dive bars. I loved all the funny signs around the bar and the bartender, Joy was very friendly. I want to check out another night when there are more people. Just as a side note, the parking lot was a bit sketchy -- I arrived around 730pm on a Monday so it wasn't very late -- There is a weird split in the parking lot one side is the Aldi side (which seemed more populated with people going in and out of the store) and the other side is a bunch of shops that were closed . There were some interesting people chilling out in their cars and yelling to each other when I came out - I was by myself and felt a little sketched by it, but I was fine.

I was told I had to try the frozen espresso martini, and it did not disappoint. It was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. It was definitely like a dessert! After that, I asked what other frozen drinks were on the menu and was told about the frozen orange creamsicle with vodka. Of course, I had to try it and wow, it was fantastic! Refreshing, citrusy, and perfect for a warm day. We had already eaten lunch, so we only stopped in for drinks, but all of the food coming out of the kitchen looked great. We did order the fried pickles to share, and they were very good. We'll definitely be back to The Rooster to watch a game and enjoy another frozen espresso martini or orange creamsicle sometime soon.

There were skeletons throughout, Barnes wire across the ceiling, a large screen showing an old movie, and the walls are covered in vintage posters. There is a pool table and an 8 screen TV showing old movies. We ordered a Crime of Passion and two Buried Alives. Both were good, especially the Buried Alive. Int was like boozy chocolate milk with Oreo cookie crumbs. Delish! It's did take a bit for someone to come to our table, and we watched people who came in after is get served before we even had sometime take our order. All in all, this is a great little place to hang out.

The bar tenders were awesome and they treated their customers just like family. Of course a few of those family members might be considered the black sheep so they had to put them in their places but it was all in good fun. We both ordered a burger with fries. First off, the fries were out of this world good! Perfect crisp on the outside and perfect soft on the inside with some sort of coating that made them amazing! Now the burgers? The best in the WORLD burgers?! Well I can't confirm they are the best in the world, because I haven't been everywhere IN the world but let me say, this was probably one of the best burgers I have ever had! Thick with just the right amount of juicy and the flavor was crazy good. The bun looked like a regular old sesame seed bun but it was slightly denser but not too heavy and it complimented the overall pallet experience perfectly. We sat there talking about these burgers and fries like we had hadn't eaten in 5 years plus we were very entertained by the bar tenders and the college football championship games that were on TV. 5 stars for sure, so if you are ever in the area of 32st and Shea blvd, stop in and grab yourself an amazing lunch or dinner!

Seams to be a lot of regulars. I find both the bar staff and security staff to be friendly. Don't expect to find a nice wine or any but they have plenty of beer and can make most cocktails. They do have mini bottles of Cook's sparkling wine if you are looking for some bubbles but no prosecco. Hit it up for the holidays for the lights and fun crowds.

I've been going to Eddies off and on for about 3 years. 3 years ago I would of written I love this bar, but after the past couple months this bar has become nothing but drama. Between some of the female patrons just acting like fools or confronting/yelling at someone when they walk through the door Eddies is not worth the mental stress. One of the biggest disappointments is now there is a former bartender from Eddies coming back in as patron. Who wants to go out and try to enjoy themselves with all this chaos going on. I would not recommend going to Eddies unless you like chaos or until the owners get the place under control. read more

I had 7 beers within 4hrs and was planning on staying there much longer. I'm walking home now writing this review, not even tipsy. I recommend going when there's a solid bartender, but when this one is there I suggest going somewhere else. People that go there probably know who I'm talking about. No fun. If you go there suspecting you're able to drink many 3.75 Busch lights maybe you should rethink your game plan. Sorry guys.
