Horrible first experience. There were only a handful of people in the bar, and within minutes of arriving I heard a patron use a racial slur ("n****r") out loud. The bartender and staff made no effort to address the behavior or maintain a respectful atmosphere. I left immediately. Whether through action or inaction, allowing that kind of conduct creates an environment I don't feel comfortable supporting. I won't be returning. read more

Well we live in the neighborhood and wanted to try somewhere new but as I waited outside for my husband to finish a call we got yelled at TWICE despite explaining I wanted to come once my husband finished an important call. Instead he was interrupted twice while I was yelled at that I was loitering and to leave the property- despite explaining I was coming in in a minute and in a partying spot. I have never been treated so rudely for no reason. Go to Dodeys or lovecraft or pretty much anywhere in the neighborhood instead. These people are rude for no reason and obviously don't want new business so don't bother. Spend your money anywhere else- much much better options in the neighborhood who actually want business. So, check this out. I went down to Eddie's the other night for Happy Hour. I inadvertently left my mask on the table when I went to the bathroom. This lady, who appeared to be drunk, got up out of her seat and began to yell and cuss me out in front of the whole bar. In addition, she physically grabbed me by my shirt, arm and shoulder to make her point. While doing so, she was not wearing her mask. The best part of the story is when I got back to my table I learned she was the owner. read more

So sad to repot what happened today. Haven't been out much lately but Eddie's is one of our fun spots, maybe 1-2 times a month for the last 10 years. Came into today, Sunday, 6/28, about 2pm, and was shocked and upset at how the other patrons commented on how we were dressed and comments on my tattoo. ( my shirt showed a small tattoo). And then my husband ordered wine. That became the joke of the full bar, "The brunch crowd has just come in!" Said a guy sitting next to my husband (red shirt guy- Bartender knew who he is), And the next order he shouted, "would you like some 'fumunga cheese' with that glass of wine"? Loudly, so the bar and everyone there heard. (Fumunga cheese is a reference to a guy that doesn't clean privates. Ugh). We were playing a game and were having fun, and were shocked by the behavior that wasn't stopped by the bartender. After 10 years after of telling folks this is a cool, little spot, that won't be happening. I even called back to ask Andy for the Manager's names, and he said, "it was the patrons, not me." So he knew!? Seriously, this was a fun spot?! Not sure what happened. read more
