Great guys! And the food matches the owners. I got the Super Steak and it made my belly happy on a chilly afternoon. I'll be back again!

Eddie's is great. The place itself definitely isn't going for high marks on aesthetics, it's a pretty small and simple. But what they do get high marks on is their food. They have a big menu and the prices are super low (like $9 for a large pizza). It is cash only. Everything from the cheese to the crust on the pizza is just right. The folks working there always seem pretty friendly too.

After many years, I finally had a chance to try Eddie's Pizza Haus. We got two large pizzas (1 sausage & 1 cheese). I really wish I would have tried this place sooner as the pizza is really good. I will definitely be a returning customer here. I recommend a visit if you happen to be in the area.

My favorite pizza in Pittsburgh. Delicious, fresh, great other options, too. Such nice people.

The food was delicious, the subs were great. This small shop has been around for decades--all fresh and family run. Cash only!

Okay this is my favorite pizza in Pittsburgh! I've had it all too! The crust has more flavor than Fiori's and Mineos.

Massive and delicious sandwiches and burgers!!! Stopped here for an impromptu dinner this week…read more We'd had ice cream right before, so unfortunately I wasn't ~starving~ BUT my sandwich was so big, I don't think I would've finished it even if I was starving. I got The Levittown shaved ribeye sandwich and it was amazing! Loaded with sautéed onions and housemade cheese whiz. Super messy but that's means it's legit we shared the fries - they were good and not super salty, but I prefer that over being too salty. My fiancé got the 916 burger and really enjoyed it! Hos only comment was that he felt there were too many onions - but he's not a big onion person and only eats small amounts of them when I use them in dishes at home. Me on the other hand, I would've loved the amount of onions!! I took a bite of the burger and it was really good! Everything was just so fresh and you can tell so much love goes into it. The ladies working were so sweet too. There is a decent amount of seating in there which is great! Street parking only though. Next time im in Sharpsburg i'll definitely go back!!

The parts without the salt were so good! I wish they'd asked. The menu is small, but it all looked good. What a charming, delicious spot for home cooked comfort food!…read moreThis is a trendy spot (for valid reasons) so they do sell out of things and there are often lines. But the lines and waits are worth it! I felt like I was transported back in time to eating at my grandparents house. There is just that cozy feel in the atmosphere, service and taste and quality of the food. They have their standard menu but also offer monthly and weekly specials (like specialty pierogi flavors). They have the Polish Platter (which is a delightful combination of pierogi, sausage, golabki) and you can get sides and salads you don't often see served at restaurants (like the mizeria cucumber salad). The food is absolutely delicious and you can taste the love that went into preparing it. I would say I wish this was a little closer to home, but my wallet and waist line are probably better off for it being a bit of a drive. But it is definitely worth a special trip!

IMPORTANT TIPS: get in early, especially Saturday. They will run out of menu items quickly, and…read moreseating is very limited (maybe 6 or 7 bar seats, 3 or 4 indoor tables, and they may put a few tables for two outside). I ordered at 1 PM and got my food 35 minutes later as they were that busy. That said, Polska Laska is amazing. Many varieties of pierogies are offered, but since the ones I wanted were sold out, I got the Farmer Cheese and Green Onion Pierogi. The fresh herbs and cheese inside the pierogie were savory and rich, and they were cooked to perfection with slight crisp. Served with dill and sour cream, this is real Polish comfort food here. The "sides" (the Haluski was practically another meal!) were just as good as the main dish. The Boston brown bread had almost a cupcake like texture and consistency and was slightly on the sweet side. The haluski was nice too - tiny during bites nestled between cooked cabbage. It was worth the wait. The service was good; as busy as they all are, they still took time to be nice. You must come. Five stars.
