I've known Eddie for ~6 years back to when he was cutting out of a co-op space on Green Street. He's intuitive with creating what you want even if you don't have pictures to show it. I've never had a haircut from him that left me feeling anything but refreshed. He's since opened up Eddie's Edition at 3 locations including the Pasadena one I'm familiar with. The ambiance is clean industrial with some greenery. Parking is easily found within 1-2 blocks. The online booking interface is seamless and requires under 3 clicks and under 20 seconds to book an appointment. Since Eddie has magic hands and is often booked out weeks in advance, I've had cuts from several other employees including MJ and Olivia. First of all, they have a great system for easy online booking. Once you've selected a time, you'll receive a text confirmation and reminder text day of. Second, the barbershop has a nice modern interior design with a good amount of parking in the lot and on the street. Third, Jacob is a great barber who takes care of you and makes sure you get the cut that you want, and works for your head shape. Lastly, they wash your hair. I was simply looking for a place to cut my hair to prepare for my graduation pictures, but man did I find a diamond in the rough. I went ahead and booked with Justin as he was the earliest available booking. We talked for a bit and he cut my hair but afterwards, I do not know why this guy is still not fully booked as well. He really took his time to perfect the cut, and really made sure i felt great and even educated me about what product to use for my hair. I've always been loyal to my barbers. So much that I continued to drive to LA for my haircuts for a year and a half after moving to the SGV. That eventually got old and so the long search for a new barber began. Luckily, after looking for months and reading countless reviews, I found Lance! Lance is amazing! He always has really chill vibes and is always kind. It's always a pleasure seeing him. My haircuts have also consistently gotten better after every visit. Lance takes his time time understand all your cowlicks and the texture of your hair. After he wraps up a cut, you can tell he's already planning out what he'll do for your next cut. Oh and before I forget, I used to always have to rush home after getting a cut to wash off the tiny shards of Asian hair I'm usually covered in after. Not with Lance, he is very respectful and careful to not get hair all over your face. He also gives you a shampoo BEFORE and AFTER each cut. It's the best! Highly recommend! read more
