Know this, they do get very busy at times. But it's worth the wait. 100% family owned and operated. One of the owners greets you, the other makes every burger. I honestly don't know how he does it. Somehow they make the impossible work, everyday with two or three people working. This is why I love America. If you're willing to work hard and sacrifice, you can find success. Going to Sinbad Burger turned out to be the real "sin," because unfortunately the food was…read moreliterally "bad" no pun intended. The service was mediocre. We visited this weekend as a party of three and all ordered essentially the same items. The only different item I had that was different the coleslaw. A couple of hours later, I became extremely sick, vomiting and experiencing what appeared to be food poisoning. I strongly suspect the coleslaw may have been the culprit, as I was the only one that had it. So not only was the meal disappointing, I ended up being the unfortunate victim of what I believe was food poisoning afterward. Definitely not the kind of experience anyone expects after paying for a meal. To the owners: this was money wasted, and I sincerely hope you take food quality control and service standards more seriously. Customers shouldn't leave your restaurant wondering whether their dinner is going to make them throw up due to food poisoning couple of hours later. Fortunately, DFW has no shortage of restaurants, and the competition here is fierce. With so many alternatives, second chances aren't guaranteed. Restaurants that can't consistently maintain food quality and service standards eventually lose customers to places that can. For us, Sinbad was a one-and-done experience. The name may be Sinbad, but unfortunately, the food was a "sin" to consume since it was so "bad" (no pun intended.)

Unfortunately, these are the only things that got going for them. All 3 burgers we ordered were dry and bland. I'm not sure if we were supposed to drizzle them with their sauces because those sauces were very strong in flavor, and could overwhelm the burgers honestly. The disco fries were way too salty as well. Most of the pickles were way too soft - however, the bread and butter is my favorite! It has the perfect balance of sweet and sour and has a great crunch. I'll start with the positives, this location has so much potential! I love that there's a brewery…read moreright on Main Street. What a fantastic addition to the community. The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!
