Fantastic cut of meat, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Definitely worth every cent.

I would rate this similar to all the other overpriced mafia prom like national steak chains. HOWEVER my steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Still overpriced but damn it tasted good. read more

20/10.. we had a great experience here! we shall start with parking, being that it's the mall parking was tough as it's the holidays, we opted for the 15$ vallet making our life easier lol.. we had a reservation right in the bar at a high top table, and it was perfect as they had two wonderful gentleman on the piano. they were lovely we started with a few drinks and did a tapas style and shared everything ( when with friends it's just the best and only way to dine!) .. we started with the seafood tower, which was great! the oysters were so perfect! we also got 3 orders of the lobster tacos which were out of this world( which is why we got 3 LOL ).. the burrata salad, in my opinion it could use cranberry or raisins something sweet to coincide and compliment the dish, so definitely could make improvements there but was still good! we also got the calamari which was not my favorite but still good. we then got the wagu ribeye with a side of scallops.. out of this worldddd good!! for dessert we shared the lemon tart and the banana foster both great, the tart was a nice refreshing dish. pricing here is a bit high, however, the food quality 100% justifies the prices. i am always willing to shell out the money if the food is worth it, which here is absolutely worth it and great quality. over all, this place was a huge win, living so close i don't know why i waited so long to try it! the server was wonderful, polite, very aware of all the drinks and dishes, answered our questions with ease she was just great !! will definitely return ! read more

Came here with my boyfriend and we're blown away. From the second we sat down Jose made us feel so taken care of. The whole look of the place just screams upscale & the ambiance is super romantic. We both ordered drinks- me a mixed drink and him the smoky old fashioned. We enjoyed the king pao calamari as an appetizer and it could have easily fed 4 people. Then my boyfriend ordered the surf and turf special and I had the jumbo gulf shrimp. Both were cooked to perfection. We also ordered the lobster mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Also very good. For dessert we split the lemon tart and wow did it knock our socks off. Before we even left the restaurant, my boyfriend was saying how we have to come back and bring our friends. Would rate my experience a full 10 out of 10. read more

My husband and I have been coming for about two years and we've never been disappointed. We come so regularly that we see the menu changes and they are all worth a try. The appetizer and salads are magnificent and the entrees (no matter which you choose) are baller!!! The staff is amazing!!! Shout out to Clinton, Katherine and Angel. They've waited on us the most and they're all great. You will not be disappointed! Go shopping and then head over. You're welcome! read more

If you have a sweet tooth and enjoy dessert, the banana foster butter cake is EVERYTHING! I'd go back for that alone. For dinner, I had the crab cake, crab stuffed shrimp and their signature crab fried rice (which is really good definitely worth trying). Everything was very tasty and the service was great. Our waitress was so nice and very dedicated to ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. Stars all around! read more

I have been wanting to come here for a while and i am glad i did! I came with my fiance and our baby. They were very accommodating with us having the stroller and did not give us side eyes because we brought a baby to dinner. We really enjoyed the meal . Everything was fresh and the cocktails were amazing! Old fashion comes out with a flame going lol. Crab fried rice was my least favorite though. It was very buttery and lacked flavor. My crab cake was delicious and the stuffed shrimp was good! Next time we come we will try the steaks. read more

Tuesday, December 13, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - Happy Hour My daughter Brandy and I have been hearing about Eddie V's since they opened at Garden State Plaza, so we decided to visit during their happy hour today. Happy hour is sitting at the bar and served by our bartender/waitress Chelsea who was very friendly but professional, welcoming, sharp memory, positive attitude, sociable and quite engaging. We ordered mini fillet sandwiches (2), jumbo lump crab cake, crab fried rice and South African lobster. Now I must say, we had the most engaging conversation with Desiree who was sitting next to Brandy. She is such a bright, funny, positive, intelligent and a foodie person! She has her own food Instagram page (diningwithpyt). It was such a pleasure meeting her. We ordered the mini fillet sandwiches center cut filet mignon without the blue cheese. It was supposed to come with onion jam, but it tasted more like mustard and the filet mignon was a bit bland. The crab cake was real crab meat, very fresh with spicy chive remoulade and it was indeed very good. The crab fried rice (real crab meat again) was well seasoned and very good as was the South African lobster tempura bites topped with sriracha aioli, which we ask for it to be on the side. The inside of Eddie V's décor is very elegant decorated in earth tones and beautiful art surrounded with a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, the food was good, loved the ambiance and it's a place that I will visit again, more than once. #eddievs #restaurant #paramus #paramusnj #newjersey #nj #goodfood #elegantdining #happyhour #dinner #restaurant #livejazz #jazz #valetparking #steak #seafood #steakhouse #yummy #beef #oysters# #wine #childrensmenu #caviar #steakporn #instagram #instafood #foodlover #foodie #chef #foodblogger #fresh #desserts #elegant #crab #love #tasty #foodstagram #foodiesofinstagram #foodgasm #instagood #foodblog #eat #blogger #like #bonitasplateblogspot.com read more

From entering the doors and being greeted by the hostesses right down to leaving, the staff was gracious and a joy to be there. The food was amazing. I split a wedge salad which they chopped up for us, split it on 2 plates. For my main, I had the parmesan crusted sole. Absolutely delicious and the biggest piece of sole I've seen. Others had surf and turf, lamb chops and steak. No one could finish their plates. Only negative was the live music was too loud. But that could be a function of age :) read more

Eddie V's continues to deliver 5 Star Dinners. Tonight was no exception with a perfectly grilled Rib- eye steak followed by macaroni and cheese sprinkled with truffles. Creme Brûlée topped off a great meal. We were 10 and Clinton our waiter was totally attentive to all our needs. A special thanks to Eric C. Rugel, managing partner, who assisted us in correcting an irregularity that developed . His intervention, steered us to a memorable experience at Eddie V's. Thank you Mr. Rugel! If you are still waiting to go to Eddie V's, wait no longer. An excellent meal is waiting for you. Vinnie read more

Came for early Mother's Day dinner! We had 5:45 reservations for party of 4 including 2 kids. Promptly got seated. Ambiance is great and our waitress was terrific! Sat in a booth next to the kitchen was nice and comfortable. Place is good for kids as there is s kids friendly menu! My kids loved it! Food was fantastic! We ordered the fried rice as recommended by the waitress. Ordered the yellowtail sashimi as an appetizer - was amazing but small portion for my wife and i to split so we ordered another appetizer, the tuna tartar. Which was just as equally as good! For main course we had the Chilean sea bass and the miso fish special. Dessert was amazing as well. All in all i would definitely recommend and go back again! read more

A seafood restaurant located inside a mall. Ambiance of the restaurant was very nice with live music band. Service was impeccable. Food was great as well. We ordered tuna tartare, each type of oysters, cocktail, filet mignon with lobster tail, beet salad and dessert. They brought us the dessert with birthday message and glasses of champagne. After a very long day of Christmas shopping we decided to try Eddie V's. The odds were stacked against us: it was 10 mins after closing and pretty busy. To top it off, I felt we were dressed a little too casual. We entered and the hostess pleasantly told us she would try to have us seated. She shortly returned, not only seating but a table large enough to store our bags. We were introduced to our host for the evening, Ralston. Despite the restaurant being closed, Ralston gave us impeccably personal service. We were seated adjacent to a celebrity whom Ralston was also serving. Ralston gave us the same service as said celebrity, expertly delivering his time and attention to all of his tables. We ordered the crab cakes to start and a mojito. I was not able to have the crab cake due to scallions being included in the recipe. It looked and smelled delicious. The mojito was absolutely perfect - to the point I was nervous I was going to drink it too fast and become intoxicated. We had the steak and salmon for our entrees. Both were cooked to perfection (I prefer a well done salmon which is hard to make without drying out or charring). Finally we had dessert (my absolute favorite). I am not sure how Ralston knew, but he served a birthday dessert and it was indeed his birthday!! The signature birthday dessert is very tasty. All in all, coming into Eddie V's was a great experience. The ambiance, service and quality is one you will not soon forget. read more

Last night we celebrated our 13 year anniversary at Eddie V's. I booked the reservation on Open Table. They had little hearts on the table and a card. It was very thoughtful! Our server was very attentive and friendly! Everyone we met was very kind. The drinks are delicious and over the top! I got the hope diamond and the 24 karat. Both were delicious. My husband got the red dragon and a manhattan and liked both. Our friends got the smoked old fashioned and mango mule - both looked and tasted great. The table side prep they do for the smoked old fashioned is a really nice touch! We ordered the steak tartare and tuna tartare. Both are prepared beautifully and are absolutely amazing. Probably my favorite part of the meal. Our food was very good, but my friends ordered the stuffed shrimp and the wagyu beef. I tried the stuffed shrimp and Oceanos is definitely better place to go for that dish. My friend said the wagyu beef at Capital Grille is better. We got the truffle Mac and cheese & the Brussels sprout sides. Both were very good. Dessert was another table show. They gave us a sampler plate for our anniversary. They did the flambé which was great! The chocolate cookies were super rich and delicious. Overall, Eddie V's is a very elegant experience. The food is great. Service is phenomenal. You really get what you pay for here. read more

me and my good bud eds went here the other night. the sole purpose being that they shared a name. since it was my 5th birthday (one to remember) uncle eddie brought out some cake with fire crackers. unfortunately we were told to get out because the fire crackers malfunctioned and nearly lit the table cloth on fire. after we were escorted out i shed a tear because you know it hurts to be kicked out on a special night.. We had been wanting to go for sometime and today we had the opportunity. From the moment you walk in to the restaurant you are immediately greeted with a warm smile. We had the opportunity to be seated rather quickly since we walked in about 20 min after they opened for dinner. They have an amazing wine selection and yummy dishes to enjoy. I had the branzino which was delicious. Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. My son had the steak and absolutely loved it as well. My husband had the lamb chop and loved it as well. The service was amazing everyone was super attentive and detailed oriented with us from our server, to the food runner and even the manager came to our table to introduce themselves and inquire about how everything has been how far. We ordered desert and they even brought an extra one for us to try. To top things off the server handed me a red rose to take with me. This is a good place for a quiet date night or a girls night. They have live jazz music in the evenings that add to the appeal of the restaurant. You almost forget you are in a mall. Definitely a place to enjoy a nice meal. read more

I really liked Eddie V's. There is great ambiance and it was nice to have live music in the restaurant. Our server was good and checked on us frequently. For my first drink I had a Mango Mule which had great flavor, but probably wasn't shaken enough since towards the bottom of the drink it had a heavy mango flavor. My husband had the smoked old fashioned which was a great presentation. For appetizers we did the steak tartar and the Tuna tartar. For my entree I had stuffed shrimp, and my husband had the wagyu beef. The stuffed shrimp was good, the crumb on top was crispy but not burnt. My husband wagyu was OK but we have had better. For dessert we had the bananas foster, which was also a really nice presentation. read more

I cannot rave about this place enough. I've heard so many good reviews about this place & I figured I'd give it some time before I checked it out. I decided to go here with a few friends to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing. We had the lobster tacos to start and they were probably the best lobster tacos I've ever had. For dinner I had the stuffed shrimp (very good and very generous in the stuffing) My friends had the filet mignon & Chilean sea bass. We shared two sides, Brussel sprouts (beyond amazing) & crab fried rice (we just couldn't get enough) This was definitely the best restaurant I've eaten at in Bergen county for sure. I can't wait to go back! Desserts were very good as well! read more

Went for a dinner meeting with some colleagues. Lovely modern atmosphere. There was a live jazz band playing by the bar. We were in a private room. There was a prefix menu, we only had to pick our starter and main dish. The table shared appetizers of prime steak tatakii & Point Judith calmari. The steak was delicious the mushrooms it came with were a great compliment. The calamari was a bit salty for me but the sauce that came with it helped. I chose the lobster bisque for my starter, very good, the croutons was a bit soggy and was lurking at the bottom of the bowl. The piece of lobster on top was a luscious little piece of yum. My main was the 18oz usda prime bone in NY strip- medium rare. The table shared au gratin cheddar potatoes , truffle mac n cheese and grilled asparagus with sea salt and lemon. By the time I got to the steak, I was starting to feel full! I ate 1/3 of my steak along with a sampling of the sides. The steak was cooked perfectly. The sides chosen were heavy but flavorful. (aside from the asparaus). We couldn't stay for desser (warm Belgium chocolate cake), although they insisted we take them home, the wait staff didn't get back to us in time. Overall, I would come here for a special occasion dinner. Food was good, staff was well-mannered. read more

I was looking for a special place to celebrate Mother's Day this year. We had a special circumstance and needed a place that could accommodate us. I cannot say enough about Eddie V's in Paramus! Every interaction I had beginning with my initial meeting with Toni and all the follow-up conversations, the hosts, our amazing server, Matthew, and even a visit for management to make sure that our experience was going to be a day we could not ever forget was truly remarkable. I wish I could rate Eddie V's Paramus with a million stars. The food and service was incredible. I came to this location to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. When we arrived, we had the best table in the restaurant, it was decorated with gold stars and a birthday card, signed by the staff. This amazing staff also presented him with a signed birthday menu. So thoughtful and it was much appreciated. During dinner, the chef came out to introduce himself and even made some delicious caviar for us to try. Throughout the night, multiple team members stopped by the table to introduce themselves and asked how we were enjoying dinner. I can't put into words how nice, welcoming and thoughtful the staff is. Food was AMAZING. Honestly, the best food I've ever had at a restaurant. I could literally eat the lobster tacos everyday of my life.. along with the sea bass and lobster mashed potatoes. Every single thing we ordered was cooked to perfection. Beautiful ambiance, incredible food, extraordinary service. I can't wait to return. read more

I went to Eddie V's for a New Year's Day dinner. I went at 4:30 p.m. so as to be finished before they got busy. I ordered a Maryland Crab Cake and Filet Medallions Oscar Style. Food was okay but not great. Worst bartenders I have ever experienced. Two bartenders and only three people at the bar including myself. Was seated for ten minutes, never acknowledged by a bartender. A hostess (?) came over and asked if I needed anything. I asked for a menu. Ten minutes later a bartender came to take my wine order. Ten minutes later, the hostess came by and asked if I needed anything. I placed my food order with her and asked her to check on my wine which was eventually delivered. I asked the bartender for silverware. Ten minutes later the hostess came by and asked if I needed anything. I asked for silverware. Neither bartender asked about the crab cake while I was eating it. A bartender asked if I liked it after I was done. The filet medallions came out without a steak knife which I could have used. The bartenders never offered a steak knife or asked if I wanted one. Neither bartender checked on me while I was eating the filet medallions. A bartender asked if I needed anything only after I was done. I said just give me the check. The crab cake plate was never removed. As a former bartender teacher, I give these two bartenders a grade of F MINUS! As a former bartender I am usually a generous tipper. Not this time. I do not think I will return. read more
