Holy poo in all of my years owning cars, I've never had an experience like this…read more This family owned business is incredible. My check engine light came on and they ran a test (for free!!!) to find out it was because the had cap was loose. They reset the engine light and I was on my way. I also need a new muffler and both brothers did a thorough check to see what is needed. They checked my tires, exception from emissions (I drive under 5,000 miles a year), and so much more. Scheduled my muffler appointment for a couple of weeks from now because they're so busy. There's a reason for that!!! They're honest, more than fairly priced, knowledgeable, professional, and all-around incredible. So thankful to a coworker who referred me. I will never get my car serviced anywhere else. Never!

I had a mixed experience at Bastone's, where I went (on an old family friend's recommendation) to…read moreget a wheel arch repaired. The positives were that they were able to get me in very quick and were, overall, friendly and professional. I do think they know what they are doing. The major negative was that the final price came out nearly twice the original quote: close to $600 instead of the original $320. This was, I was told, because an additional part had to be sourced and installed. While I was already disappointed in this unexpected cost doubling, the icing on the cake was that I wasn't asked if I wanted to proceed with the repair. I was just informed that the cost had jumped, that the repair was complete, and that I now needed to pay up. This suggested to me that the original assessment of the damage had not been as thorough as it could have been. While a quote is an estimate, not a certainty, it's not good practice for businesses that run on quotes to let customers pay twice what they were originally expecting. In this situation, for instance, I would have appreciated a discount on the unexpected new part. That might have eaten into their profit margin, but it would have guaranteed that I would become a return customer, whereas now, I am not so sure.

So I felt much better heading back on the road. They didn't charge me anything for the check/ drive. Greatly appreciate it. Seems like a honest business that have been around for years. I will recommend this place to my daughter if she ever has any car issue while in school. 5 out of 5 stars in my brief experience.

I met Justin Pons when he was being a Good Samaritan. I think that action itself shows a lot about Justin's character and the pride he takes in his car services. I have been going to Pons Auto Service ever since, and his kind, thoughtful, and meticulous service has kept my car running smoothly over the past four years. I have had very bad car service experiences before, and when I told Justin about that, he went the extra mile to ensure that he always provided the utmost detail, explanations of services rendered when I had questions, and timely updates. Honestly, his car shop has restored my ability to trust car guys again with the exemplary service that he has provided. I have full trust and faith in Justin that he will always provide the necessary car services without overcharging or "fixing" things that don't need to be fixed.
