My wife and I recently traveled for 10 mouths out west and back so I wanted to have the wheel bearings repacked, I had talked with several trailer service companies and mobile RV techs while on our journey and received estimates of $300-400 to service four wheels. Hometown Trailer Sales completed the job out the door for $150 and that included new seals, shop fees, and tax. All I can say is, great service at an exceptional price! My 37' Grand Design travel trailer was serviced by Jamie who has 30+ years of experience working on trailers and RVs. My car was towed by McGann and Chester a few days ago. When I picked up my vehicle from the lot I…read morewalked around my vehicle to inspect it and found some scratches on my bumper. I filed a claim and a man named Tim sent me a photo of my car that his tow guys took before towing my car. He's insisting that the scratch was already there and is visible in the picture he sent to me as evidence. It most certainly is not a scratch, and I even enlarged the photo he sent to show him that whatever he was seeing is a reflection of something in the bumper. In fact, you can see the "scratch" reflected in two different spots on my bumper. Identical images. Despite presenting Tim with this he was unwilling to take responsibility for it and denied my claim. He told me that he didn't have time to argue with me about it and said that nothing I could say or show him would change his mind. To be honest, the damage to my bumper is relatively minor, and the cost to repair it is probably not too much. What is difficult for me to understand is why a company would choose to deny responsibility and risk damaging its reputation over something that could be resolved so easily and inexpensively. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. My vehicle was in your company's care, and the bumper was scratched while you were handling it. I'm simply asking you to take responsibility for the damage and pay the reasonable cost of repairing it. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company handles them. I would have expected your company to recognize that the right thing to do here is straightforward: acknowledge the damage, take responsibility, and repair it. Based on my experience with McGann and Chester I have no choice but to strongly advise that you take your business elsewhere. If you're looking for honesty and integrity, you will not find it here.

I took the car to my dealer to double check that the rims and tires were in fact safe to drive on and, reassured that it was only cosmetic, was told that they worked with this vendor to repair damage like mine, that I could expect about $250 per wheel and it would look brand new. I wish I had taken photos because this was BAD and I was highly skeptical but, a few weeks later, I dropped off my car at my dealer on a scheduled date, they worked with Alloy to take my car there and, a couple of days later, I had my car back and it looked like this damage never even happened. They are magicians. I'm thrilled with the work and would recommend them highly.
