Nothing against RNR but I Bought Kenda tires because they were the only ones available to fit new wheels. Looked decent, salesman hyped them up. Huge mistake. After only 10,000 miles of normal driving (no abuse, 4WD vehicle), the tires are about 75% worn and the sidewalls are cracked wide open--completely unsafe. For comparison, my Goodyears have over 50,000 miles and still have tread. These are hands down the worst tires I've ever owned. I hope RNR does the right thing, but either way--avoid Kenda. Told me to come over at 1:00, waited just a couple of minutes until they took it in, came out a few mins later with the culprit: a very large screw. Patched it up and had me out of there really fast. Great place to get rims and tires. Rent N Roll is the Rent A Center of custom wheels. They have locations all over the country. This location is across the street from Golden Corral. You can rent rims and tires instead of out right buying them. I guess people do that now? Wheel rentals are either 52, 65, 78 or 104 weekly payments. They offer free installation, free flat repair, free rotate & balance and free locks & lugs. You can just buy rims and tires too. The showroom is clean and spacious with lots of different brands and sizes all the way up to 30". When you go ask for Danny. He will take care of you. These guys are like my family without all the arguing and bickering. Love their selection of wheels on hand plus they can order almost any wheel from a magaine you like. I ordered som dale earnhart's for my mitsubishi galant and they definitely make the car look sporty. I've bought recently my third set of wheels, this time it was for my SUV. I needed something that said sporty and sexy and this 5 star concave pattern wheel definitely did it for me. The owner Dan, took the wheel I liked off the wall and places it in front of my tire so I can get an idea of what it will look like on my car. This one blew me away. I will admit that their prices can be a little high compared to online stores but hey you get to see the wheels in stock right up against your car as opposed to hoping it look good from internet pics. They supply everything I need from TPS sensors to my painted calipers, to nitrogen filed tired. I will definitely be coming here for as long as I own a car. If only they had a tint guy!! read more

RNR came through in a pinch for me today! Just less than 2hrs before my appointment elsewhere to have my 20in rims mount and balanced I realized I would need hub centric rings to make my wheels fit. I was able to make a quick call and bring my wheel to the shop for them to measure the exact size I needed to make my wheels fit. Glad they had the right size in stock and I was in and out quickly to make my appointment on time. I first became a customer some years back at their original East Liberty location when I bought a set of chrome 20s for my old Monte Carlo. After that, I've purchased some tires and have brought other wheels and tires here for installation. Owner Dan C is cool guy I met at my job some years back before I came here for rims. The helpful staff will gladly answer any of your questions about fitment issues and anything else needed about wheels/tires. This store offers a wide variety of custom rims and tires you can view on their showroom floor. You can actually order just about anything you desire from virtually any brand of wheel or tire from their catalogs. They offer prices for cash and carry or you can finance anything with a monthly payment. You'll end up paying a lot more this way, but can be convenient for some buyers. Rent and Roll is a predatory company that preys on uneducated lower income people. They do not care about their customers and will take every opportunity to gauge prices and overcharge for simple services. For example, if you rent wheels from them, they remove and replace your old tires for free. If you buy the rims from them, the will charge you $200. If you happen to do business with them, speak to Dan (the manager) only. Joel is a clerk there and he has no business sense at all. He would rather lose money than help a valued customer. I got my wheels from Dan and Joel a while ago. They were awesome in helping me find the right wheels for my car. Even when I paid cash to order a specific wheel, and found out there were only 3 of those wheels left, they worked a deal with me on another set of wheels I wanted that were just out of my price range before. They were fantastic to work with. And pretty much, if anyone leaves bad reviews here it's probably because they couldn't afford to pay $30 a week for wheels; you know, the kind of people that should be wiser about their money, but aren't. read more
