Only negative was it took me 2 attempts to get the vehicle. The first car was delayed due to the EV battery failure, but the second time the car was delivered within the agreed timeframe. The gentleman I spoke with was great and genuinely helpful. The woman I spoke with felt more dismissive, which took away from the experience. When I arrived for my pickup appointment, the rep helping me was friendly and handled everything smoothly. He even gave me recommendations for local mechanics to complete my PA state inspection. I had seen reviews saying some vehicles did not pass inspection, so I took mine in right away. It passed without any issues. My appointment was at 9 AM. By 9:30 there were three other clients waiting and only one rep working. It felt like a scheduling or staffing issue, but even with that I was only there for about an hour to an hour and a half. The truck itself was in good shape and matched the listing. The interior was the real disappointment. It was not detailed at all and placing two paper mats in the front row does not count. There was dirt on the dash and in the cupholders. Almost every hard surface has a white residue on it. Having worked in the automotive industry for six years, I would never let a client drive home in a vehicle that looked like that. I will either have to pay to have it detailed or do it myself, which should not be the case Carvana. The process was convenient and the truck was as described, but the lack of interior detailing and some service inconsistencies kept this from being a higher rated experience.

They couldn't get a flat bed or tow truck through the gates. They then used their pickup which they hooked up the truck, and with a little persuasion from the stuck wheels, they moved it out. Easy title transfer. The 3 guys were courteous and worked hard to remove my truck. Once they got my pickup out to the street, they used their tow truck to take it away. I am very pleased with PGH Junk Cars. I called them, and the next morning they had a flat bed. They called and said they would be back in the afternoon because the flatbed was too big. Very good communication. I can't say enough good about their service. They are the best.

I called at 2:30 asking ETA and the lady I talked to said the guy was supposed to come earlier that day - she seemed upset at him. She said she'd find out and call me back. Called me back at 3:07 saying the guy was leaving right away. Late, but whatever. 3:58 rolls around, so I call again. The lady tracks where the truck is and says the guy is "in my area" and "shouldn't be more than a few minutes." ANOTHER hour goes by... By this point my workplace had closed and I'm sitting in my car. Pretty ticked off, I call again at 4:39 - nobody picked up (probably recognizing my number). Tried again at 4:43 and left an unsatisfactory message this time. FINALLY, at 5:00, this guy pulls up. He's plays it off like it was no big deal he was 2 hours late and then adds: "sorry, but I don't have all of the cash for your car. I used some of it to buy a cheeseburger at McDonald's." To say the least, I was in disbelief. Luckily he worked out a way to Venmo me. The cash was all crumpled up in his pocket - extremely unprofessional. He then called his office to work out details and the same lady picked up (so I know she was there, avoiding my missed calls). Coming out of the intersection at the top something went to crap in my transmission/shifter and I was stuck in second. I already didn't have much mechanical faith in my car so I thought I was screwed. Cherry on top was that I was broke as all get out when this happened so that added some nice stress. A gas station down the road told me to drive up and see if these guys could figure out what was wrong... limping along in 2nd I got to the garage. I was a stressed mess and probably came off rude and scared but the guys and gals at Troy Hill Garage got my car in the shop and dove into it. I went and wandered the city on foot for a couple hours but probably and hour and half after they started on my car they called to say it was fixed!! Ended up being a bad shift cable bushing and it was a cheap fix! These folks saved my trip and the car is still going great after putting another 5000 miles on it over the next two weeks after getting it fixed!!
