Chris had to take his car here to get an oil change. They seemed really nice. I liked the lobby, but they could have had more/better seating. Some customers were left to stand around because of the lack of chairs. They had some good freebies for the waiting customers. Coffee, tea, pop, and water. It was nice to be able to kinda chill and have a nice hot cup of tea, but when we came back we had no seats to sit in! A-Ok for sure. The freebies were also in the showroom and not in the service center, if we didn't ask we wouldn't have known about them, not good for the people who were waiting for their cars to be done. He made an appointment and the car was done in the time they said it would be. Overall it was a good experience.

When I went for my last oil change in May, the mechanics noticed that they inspection was due that month and asked me if I wanted them to take care of that at the same time.

After some searches I found this dealerships online advertisement to sell my car to them. I answered all of the questions about the vehicle, the website gave me a price and a sales woman named Nicole called me to schedule a time to come in. During the phone call with Nichole I told her that my fiancé works during the day, and I would bring the car out to get it appraised. Nichole said ok, and she scheduled me to meet with Rick. When I arrived Rafael greeted me. Up until meeting Rafael I had a great experience with the dealership. Rafael was horrible! As soon as he greeted me he seemed to be distrusting of me for some reason. He rushed me through a conversation, while he said he was getting Rick. I never meant Rick. He refused to look at the car because my girlfriend wasn't with me. I've bought my fiance a lot of cars. All of the cars have been solely in her name, I've gotten each one appraised without her. This is the first time I've been treated like a criminal for simply asking for an appraisal. Horrible experience

Won't answer calls made by landline, cellphone, their own online chat window or email, all tried on the same weekday during regular open hours. ZERO RESPONSE to a serious safety issue. This is why I left Brewer services years ago, but the new faces and names are using the same policies and toolbox as the old ones. I'm sorry I gave them another chance. If they ever contact me, I'll update with what they were willing to do or make it right. If they can convince me of some integrity I might even delete the review. Edit: they eventually did call back. My wife took the car in to address the safety issues they failed to either own or remedy. Within 1 mile of leaving the service department, my wife driving noticed the hood of the car undulating at 40mph. She pulled over and discovered the hood only secondary latched and not closed all the way. After calling to report this, their rep called u and said "they were never under the hood" so if you you want a picture of what dealing with them will look like, this is it. I'm done with them.

Really, Cochran should be ashamed of its "Repair Service" front desk - it leaves a bad aftertaste…read moreto a perfect sale.  We paid $10,000 for a car that developed problems just as it rolled off the lot. My salesprofessional promised they would fix it, but when I brought it in the first time, the garage did NOTHING and handed it back, claiming it was "fixed". (Ok, they put a new clip in the seat, but it didn't hold it on, so it wasn't "fixed.") Then the sales boss overrode the free repair and said they would fix the things "at cost." I was miffed, but the repairs should NOT have cost more than $150 with labor, so I took it back (here is the list). 1. The REAR sheild became an issue as I drove off the lot. Normally not a big problem, but I must routinely park on grassy spaces, and it is there to prevent a fire from starting in dry grass under your gas tank. (Online at most a $75 part, if at cost, much cheaper.) 2) The parking light needed a bulb (somehow missed by their mechanic during their inspection. (A $1 part that I could do myself, but it should have worked as per their inspection). 3) The side panel of the driver seat fell off as I got in & needed to be attached in some way that it would stay put (a longer, fatter clip, a part that would have cost them $ 0.25). See? I'm not asking the moon. My second trip was EVEN MORE infuriating. The front desk guy, Nick, couldn't relay a simple message about a REAR heat sheild, and doesn't know jack about cars, INSISTING that I have a "dual exhaust system" when - helloo? -I only have one muffler! He said it would be a $440 repair to replace the whole FRONT heat sheild. When I tried to clarify, explaining that the missing part was in the MIDDLE of the car, Nick spoke to me like a man talking down to a girl who's never been under a car or replaced a heater core herself: He flat out ass-erted, "I don't know what you're talking about. I was just out with the mechanic and there IS NO 'missing part'. It's all there, the clamps just aren't holding it steady." Worse, Nick knew I had a concussion because I'd mentioned it - that I was having trouble with the noise and lights from the TV - and he spoke to me as if having a concussion affected my ability to know what a heat sheild is: As I described how the REAR heat sheild comes in two parts and that I had been under the car and saw with my own eyes how the bottom half was missing, he replied, "...the bottom just looks like a pipe, so you must just be confused." Oh, yes he did. And using that tone on the confused part, too. Don't talk to me like I can't tell an exhaust pipe from a freakin' heat sheild, when I've already told you I've been under that car, kept my last car running for 25 years, did my own tiger hair body work, radiator, alternator, heatercore, windshield pump, etc.. Then he insists again that I have a "dual exhaust." Grrrrr! (I would've liked to have walked him over and rubbed his snotty little nose in it, but his lunch hour whisked him away.) Add to that the fact, that when they couldn't fix the seat side panel properly the 2nd time, I had to pay $6.50 for a bag of clips at Nappa to get the right size because their mechanic was too stupid to see that the one that was in there wasn't the right size for the job. Hello? I'm a girl with no schooling in automechanics and I can see that without even googling it. Their mechanics also did not even touch the parking light when I brought it in the first time. And when I noted it down at the lot, Mark's boss went over, thumped the side of the car with his fist, and, as the light came on (a knock can temporarily reconnect a bulb's broken filament), and proclaimed it, "just a loose wire." Seriously? The worst part is, I called before going out to my previously arranged apppointment, and told the scheduler that I had since suffered a concussion - that the long drive, with all its jostling would be painful. I asked for an estimate for a REAR heat sheild to avoid a trip for something I couldn't afford, but she insisted I had to come out and talk to the mechanic, AND would NOT put him on. Once there, NICK DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME THE CHANCE to talk to the mechanic myself. Even had I wanted the work done, they didn't have my parts and wouldn't be able to get them or do the work for a week. Wasted trip, either way. Thank you Cochran for two days of excruciating headaches and neck pain, and no sleep. People in positions of power who abuse that power will not change (even a light bulb), until it costs them. Believe me, it will cost them. Everybody in my family is in the market for new and used cars. IT WILL COST THEM ROUGHLY $80,000 IN SALES. Suggestions for improvement: - have a mechanic available to answer service questions to prevent unneccessary trips and avoid miscommunication from know-nothing intermediaries - retraining for service front desk with regard to how they talk to women and the disabled. (Service reps should know they affect sales!)
