Very friendly folks here and if you want to lock in service forever they're probably fine. However, if you want to be able to stop service it's a very poor experience. No way to do this with text or online, you have to call, be transferred, sit through a sales pitch, and even then it's confusing if you're already in a contract - massive fees for bailing early on an already premium service. The predatory gotcha is they will say, "there's no renewal after the contract is over", but they don't mention that they will still keep coming every quarter, just billing individually instead of the contract price. You have to wait until the final visit on your contract and then cancel your account before the next cycle. This is very painful. I'll be happy to go back to EcoShield if they make it quick and easy to opt-in/out of a subscription online and drop the messy contracts. The people doing the actual work are great, just a somewhat shady and pushy sales setup. read more

The person who sold me the 'service' was nice, but turns out he lied about a lot of stuff which I only found out when I called the company and found out they don't even work for them they are 'independent contractors'. They charged me way more than he said they would for the service plan and when I tried to cancel they told me I had to pay an early termination fee. read more

These guys have been awesome from the start! Very thorough when taking care of the wasps we had dealt with for years. John is so nice and courteous every time he services our home as well! We had a huge hornets nest when they initially started and they removed it and we've never had a problem since! You definitely can't go wrong hiring these guys for anything to do with bugs! The most terrible experience ever. I agreed to first treatment and was promised by the agent that I'm not signing a contract. However, after the first treatment I was told I am committed to three treatments and the only way to stop the contract is to pay $250 fee. After the three treatment I asked to stop and then I was told that I'm actually committed to five treatments. In addition, they schedule appointments without any coordination just sending a message I need to be home. Rescheduling is a pain and they rarely show up when they schedule. The last 2 times I took time off work to be home, and they didn't show up. They claim that every treatment takes 20-30min, but based on my home camera the technician was here less than 4 minutes. It is such a scam! The phone representatives are extremely unhelpful. Just saying sorry and repeat my name. I can't wait to be detached from this unprofessional company, since this has been an extremely frustrating experience. Stay away!! read more

They came unsolicited through the neighborhood, claiming that they were doing work for neighbors. Although there was no truck to be seen. I let him do his presentation but when he wanted me to sign a contract with payment off of his phone my mood changed. A classic "trust me" you can read the contract later and cancel. I have no clue what their service is like, but if their sales tactics are any indication, BEWARE! Today, a salesman names Riggs Billingsley from EcoShield came to my house while I was out of town. My wife was home dealing with our sick son who had been throwing up all day and was exhausted. The salesman was pushy and aggressive. We already have a pest control service, but she listened to his sales pitch anyway. At the end he told her to just enter her contact info and sign on the form and he'll have the more information about the service sent to her and that technicians will come the next day. She filled in her info to wrap things up, but said said no to service. She told him we didn't agree to anything and that she'd have to talk with me about it. After he leaves she gets emails that an appointment is scheduled for the next day and a signed contract for service for many hundreds of dollars. She didn't agree to any of it. He lied to her and tricked her. She called me distraught about the situation. She was upset because she was so exhausted dealing we our sick son that she we scammed by this guy. So I called the number, which of course went to an Indian call center. After half an hour of infuriating back and forth that required a 3 way call with my upset wife, we finally got the service and contract canceled. I've already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. These people are clearly crooks. Stay far away! read more

I have not tried the service but am responding to cold call sales. Someone showed up and rang my doorbell and then tried to convince me to buy their service today. I said maybe next year and he kept pushing for me to do it this year. He offered discounts, talking about being local (so is the service I've been using) and starting explaining how he could help and why I was wrong about not needing his service. I finally cut him off and said "I told you no, don't keep going or I won't consider you for next year's service." He looked annoyed at me. Not a great experience with this company. If i could give zero stars, i would gladly! They came out to my house and sold my wife on an exterior seal of all the open areas in our foundation for over $1,300. She happily paid them IN-FULL. When i came home, i went around the house and saw they missed 4 areas and the areas that they did seal for $1,300 was with an expandable foam...FOR $1,300!!! The worst of the worst, thieves, crooks. Now they say because we canceled our service, we owe them $189...YEAH RIGHT. I am absolutely furious with this company and 100% recommend NEVER using them. I am a little embarrassed I did not do the due diligence I would normally have done before signing up for any services. Having said that, I felt I should be able to and could trust the advice and suggestions the technician was giving me. Knocking on my door late afternoon when I am making something to eat, with a dog going crazy in the window at the stranger, his tactics and timing were very good for his company's profits. He specifically told me I could cancel the 12-month subscription at any time, with just a small fee for some products he was going to use at no charge to me during the first pest solution application. He conveniently did not mention I only had 3 days to cancel from the day of meeting him, to avoid the astronomical termination fee of $250.00!!!!!! read more

Like the other reviewers mentioned they are very pushy when they came to my door. We live in a townhouse community and the guy told me my neighbor who we are connected to had mice and ants. This turNed out to be bs. So I signed up. After the 2nd treatment we still had ants so I called them. They make a big deal about coming back out if there is a problem. They texted me and said "they would come back when they were in the area". They also claim that if our next service is within 2 weeks they would move up the service. Neither was done. I texted them and said I wanted to end the service. Today I called and he tried to offer me a discount on the next service. I said no and he offered a larger discount. Again I said no.
