I'm not sure what the story is with the one very poor review for Alamo. All I can say is that two summers ago, we had a terrible bedbug infestation in our 3 story apartment. Our landlord's go-to exterminator is Paul, the owner of Alamo. Paul showed up and explained the entire process to us. He was extensively knowledgable about the habits and breeding cycle of bedbugs. He took the time to explain the nature of the poisons he used and was clearly knowledgable about them. He explained how to prep our house for the fumigation. Afterwards, he helped return out house to normal and told us what to expect. Throughout the experience he was very curteous and friendly and in conversation, we found out we both enjoy cooking italian. He invited me to his family's meatball cookoff and brought over some imported canned tomatoes in a follow-up visit. And were just the tenants- we aren't even the one's writing his check. Paul from Alamo is the absolute best person in the business for this type of work. I don't know what me and my family would have done if it wasn't for Alamo. During the pandemic when most people are skeptical to come out to work, Paul was at my house daily checking out problems we were having and going beyond to help rid us of our situation. After Alamo finished with their work (Paul) came help us again, when no one would and It was absolutely out of his way and also after work hours. I'm a widowed woman, who just moved into a home, that the mice in the area seem to want to hang out in! It's not easy finding a reputable company, that you can trust to help and not take advantage of your situation. I contacted Alamo Pest Control and was greet by a lovely woman named, Bobbie, she immediately put me at ease and scheduled a visit from the company. Paul, the owner of Alamo came to asses the situation, he explained what he found and how to treat it. He was extremely professional, efficient and caring! They were fairly priced, and didn't try to sell me on a contract, which has happened in the past! Alamo Pest Control was a God-Send! Being a new homeowner of a two-family home and a mother for the first time, I was really looking for a no-nonsense Pest Control company to come and get rid of the mice that decided to set up shop in my house! After calling a couple of the more well-known pest control companies who wanted to charge me close to a grand for the job, I decided to check out a couple closer to home. Bobbie, who answer the phone was so polite and informative and really worked with me to set up a time (ASAP of course). Paul was wonderful. He was polite, thorough, and really took the time to explain everything from how they come in, why they come in, how to prevent, and how to treat the problem. He's not the type to talk your ear off with a bunch of B.S and does not suger-coat the issue. He want you to know exactly what is going on, and what you need to do to keep your home free of pests. Not only where his rates extremely reasonable, he even came out an extra time to seal up holes from the outside of my property. haven't seen any evidence of them at all in a while. I am truly greatfull to Paul and Bobbie for all their help. I will definitely be referring them to anyone that needs pest control. That's the least I can do for them for getting rid of those pesky buggers for me so quickly. read more

Okay, first let me start off my saying how I was a complete wreck due to a pretty bad infestation of roaches in my apartment I am renting...our landlords hired an 'exterminator' (he was their friend) and he failed to show up four times which I took of work for and lost wages waiting for him to come. I decided to call around to local exterminators first and explain the situation to see what they thought and find out prices etc. I called Alamo Pest Control in Revere, MA first because it came up as in my city so they were local and it said they were a family business. I have always been huge on family businesses so I thought I'd give it a shot. When I first called a man named Paul answered. Not only was he very calm and kind which ended up calming me down as well but he let me VENT about my entire situation. He really cared and gave me some AMAZING advice. He gave me NUMEROUS things to do and pointed me in all the right directions. I asked him for a quote and his price was awesome and beyond fair. Paul made me feel very comfortable. He assured me he could get the job done if I wanted to hire him and that I didn't have to worry. Due to working long hours etc; I wasn't able to set up an appointment right away, also being nervous as to how my landlord would react if I hired someone on my own that wasn't their 'exterminator' /friend who kept blowing us off like we didn't matter. I was fed up with that whole situation and the infestation as well, it just kept getting worse. Roaches were falling on my head while I was trying to shower, it was indescribable. We were just about to start staying in a motel when I decided to call Paul again, only this time set up an appointment with him. He came, saw, and CONQUERED. That is honestly the best way I can put it. When I called to make the appointment, I spoke with his wife Bobbi (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) she was also very polite and kind. She listened to me and I could hear in her voice she really felt bad for what me and my husband were going through. She assured me as well, that I would be so happy when they were done. So Paul comes to my house, he's a nice and neat looking man. He introduced himself, shook my hand, asked me how I was...I thought to myself-WOW people still do that? Anyway, he asked ME where the problem was, where I was seeing the roaches, when, how many, what size, what time of day, etc; He really asked questions to try and determine what kind of situation we had going on. Also, the numerous times I spoke with Paul before I hired him he explained the process, what would happen, how long it would take, he was really patient with me and I really just want to thank him for that! Because I was seriously losing my mind at that time. I've never had a cockroach infestation before and you hear about it, but to live with it..is really a completely different story. So Paul did his this, he addressed every area I told him where we were having problems and then some. He EXPLAINED what I should expect, how long and if things didn't change or go the way they were supposed to in a timely fashion to 'no problem, give him a call and he'd come back that there were several steps to the process but that this should do the trick.' The total time was supposed to be about two weeks I think he said before we really would not see any more bugs at all. It definitely happened before the time he quoted us and now its almost a month later and we haven't seen any bugs at all. This experience has been so invigorating and I will recommend these great people to anyone, I will seriously be so glad to. They were kind, patient, there for me, they gave advice even BEFORE they knew I was going to hire them, they came in got the job done, they showed up on time, they were respectful, they had manners, they answered the phone...the list goes on. I mean today people don't even get back to you, you're lucky if they show up. So to have such nice people working with you, it really means a lot. To me and my husband anyway-and for those of you out there that it means a lot to too, I decided to put up my great experience. Oh, and now my landlord requires a full report from the company to find out just how bad the infestation was, how much we paid, what was done etc; and Paul is going to do that for us as well...they're really some kind people and never once got rude or were short with us once. And dealing with the stress of an infestation and being so disgusted by it you don't even want to be in your own home...it really means so much to us that we are now bug free!!! Thank you Paul and Bobbi we really appreciate all your help and kindness and you really made our lives living in our home much cleaner, happier, and just all around better. We really didn't want to have to leave here. Thank you again so much, we'll never forget you guys!!
