Absolutely excellent pest control. I used them 3 years ago for a mice infestation in a new house in the Boston area. I expected to need them annually, but they did such a good job we have not seen hide nor hair of a mouse since then. I'm currently using them for an outdoor rat problem. (There is redline construction by my house, and its causing the rats to flee to my yard.) There has been a significant decrease in activity despite the continued work. We have two dogs and they take care that there is no risk to their health or well being. Their technicians are polite and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend this service. read more

We had a paper wasp/hornet nest on the fence right by our driveway that no one noticed initially until it was scarily almost the size of a basketball! And at that point, no one thought this was a simple DIY project -- what, were we going to smack it down with a baseball bat and run for our lives?!? But we didn't want to use any toxic chemicals -- we have a small dog and there's a daycare right next door with little kids always running around in the yard just downwind. Thankfully there were a number of pest control companies in the area, and when we reached out to several, Green Planet Pest Control responded promptly, answered all our questions, and were able to schedule something within a day or two. The guy who came out to our house wore appropriate protection gear, and got the job done without any toxic chemicals that would've been bad for our dog or kids nearby. He also advised me on what product to get (a fairly pleasant-smelling natural spray with peppermint oil) to keep spraying in the area if I saw any return buildup, that would dissuade the wasps from sticking around. Would 100% recommend. read more

Green Planet helped with our ant problem very quickly. They are professional, transparent, and communicative. Thanks!

Fast, efficient and effective. Would highly recommend. Came within a day and the pests were gone.

They don't stand behind there product. Had ants after just 2 months after they sprayed. They wanted me to pay again. Better to find a different company. In response to Todd below. There is no vegetation, as ant are coming from under a deck. It would seem that who ever sprayed did not spray under the deck. And he only offered to respray at a discount, instead doing the job correctly the first time. terrible customer service read more

These are the most helpful people. We have a moth infestation, but didn't want to spray with pesticides in bedrooms where our grandchildren sleep. We called Green Planet. We learned from them that moths are a do-it-yourself project because of the long time frame and their frustrating ability to come back. But the person was nice enough to spend a lot of time with us on the phone confirming that it was indeed moths, stressing the importance of finding the food source, reviewing where we were seeing the most activity, educating us about moths, and explaining, step by step, what we needed to do. It was amazingly helpful and reassuring. We were so impressed by how much time he took with us, even though we were not clients. Dealing with this is not a fun experience, but we felt like we got excellent information to tackle it. read more

This company was very responsive and quick to mitigate our problems. the technician was very friendly and professional. We found moldy wood and carpenter ants behind part of our home. It won't be until the spring when we will see if the treatment was effective. read more

Great response by operations manager. Quick service. Technician explained everything. No spraying which can hurt the environment. Instead they used gel. And we have a one year guarantee. Only downside is that they are pricey. But I think it's worth it. read more

The people there are super friendly. They got to my rental property the second day I called and set up bait for rodent. After one week, mouse is no where to be found. They also answered all the questions I had along the way. I will recommend this to anyone who wants peace of mind. read more

Very nice person! We are having a rice bug issue inside the house, they gave me a 10 minute call and told me everything I can do to get rid of them, without a charge. It was a pleasure working with Green Planet today. They came to rid my condo of mice. The technicians explained everything in detail to me, sealed up all the small gaps, were extremely friendly and knowledgable about the problem, answered all my questions, came on time, and will come back in two weeks to check on the situation. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Excellent company! read more

I have used Green Planet pest control a few times, specifically working with Todd. They are responsive and knowledgeable and do good work. Such a pleasure to work with a company like Green Planet. Well-organized, professional, and friendly. I recommend them without reservation.

I reached out to ask about Carpenter Ants. Eventhough I submitted the form online on a weekend, Todd called me back within a couple of hours. I explained what we were seeing and he actually recommended to us that we likely did not need intervention right now. This put our mind at ease as we were concerned about the cost to remedy the situation. I intend to use this company for any future pest control needs we have and really appreciated their responsibility and honesty with us in assuring us that we may not really even need their services right now. read more

Just spoke with Todd. He was very helpful and gave me advice on how to deal with a vegetable garden rat problem. He was honest about what can reasonably be done by his company and didn't push his services at all. Would definitely use him in the future. read more

Todd is the most helpful person. He requested a photo of our issue. Diagnosed it (it's not something that the company treats for) and gave us suggestions on how to handle. All in the matter if 5 min from when I placed my call. Now that's how you do service read more

I like Todd and his crew of exterminators. Todd is polite, approachable and responds quickly to texts. His texts provide helpful insight and pretty prompt scheduling for follow-ups (usually within a day or two). The only time there was a scheduling delay was for my initial visit. I seem to recall that he was booked out 1-2 weeks. I pay a little over $500 for a year of extermination and prevention services. He explained that he will service my home for any sort of pest including mice, rats and carpenter ants. They sprayed for carpenter ants around my home, put mouse traps around the basement and attic, and sealed up holes in the kitchen. Todd was also helpful in identifying the presence of bats so I wasn't TOO alarmed when I saw one flying around one evening. He recommended that I call Critter Control for that issue. I *love* that the hole sealants are discrete compared to other exterminators. My previous experience with exterminators was an excessive use of hideous foam in highly visible parts of my home. Green Planet Pest Control thoughtfully considers the visibility of the area before choosing the right sealant. They've used tape, wire mesh, steel wool, and a particular kind of foam that tastes bad to mice. I have to look hard, crawl under the porch or pull out the oven to see the sealants. It's SOOOO nice to not see the sealants and be reminded of mice. I guess my only concern is that the last Green Planet Pest Control guy who came to my home lamented that they don't like coming out so frequently (e.g. any time I find a mouse dropping) because it's an indication that they haven't solved the problem. I get where he's coming from, but that's why I paid for a year of services. read more

I recently used Green Planet Pest Control for an ant infestation in my home. I couldn't be more pleased with how friendly they were. Called Green Planet based on all these great reviews. Green Planet doesn't service the moth problem that our family member has, but Colin graciously offered his expertise on how to best tackle the problem. Thank you. read more

Green Planet Pest Control has serviced our3/family house many years ago and again this last week. They have maintained the best standards of any pest control group. Our house is jointly owned, and I was away when another company was hired which was clueless, and welcomed the rodents. Since then, we have again used Green Giant who did their usual good job: cellar, outside, all units inspected and any access, denied. I suggest that anyone seeking pest control services consult them before they hire another company. read more

Green Planet Pest Control is the best place to go for pest control. They are friendly, efficient knowledgeable and green whenever possible. They are very careful regarding placement and your pets. They always come when they say they will and they return as needed until the problem is solved. They know how to find where the problem starts and they fill every hole. Chris and Will came over recently and took great care to figure out the problem. Green Planet has serviced our entire building as well. Thank you Green Pest Control. read more

We discovered a wasp colony inside the walls of our house, where they were entering through a crack in the exterior. I called Green Planet and they were very good about explaining the options, and scheduling service on-site while we were away. Just amazing service. I was so grateful to Todd for taking the time to look at photos I had taken and texted to him, diagnosing our problem over the phone, and giving us simple instructions so we could address our issue ourselves. The team was very courteous and professional throughout, including working with family members who spoke English as a second language to ease their concerns. We followed recommendations precisely and pest issue was eliminated for good after a single treatment, as promised. Pricing was fair and upfront and they went through great lengths to be helpful - for example, they gave us some tips and explanations that made it clear we could avoid the higher cost of treating multiple rooms. This changed the minds of my skeptical parents who are wary from years of dealing with dishonest professionals. I give my highest possible recommendation. read more

We have an early-season wasp problem, and I sent a message to Green Planet via their email. They called within 20 minutes, gave me great (free) honest advice about our issue. I appreciate Todd, we thought we had a roach issue, but it turns out it is wharf borers. My tenant told me the technician told them that he cannot do anything and just left some baits. Todd was very honest that his company does that handle it, the initial charge to go over and take care of the roaches were not applied. Although Todd was not able to solve the problem, it's nice to know that there's a company that tries their best and still has the integrity to be honest about their work. Thank you! read more

After finding termites while gardening, I contacted Green Planet via Yelp messenger. Todd responded very quickly was able to set up a free inspection for the following day. Colin came out and helped us to fully understand (and more importantly not freak out about) the situation. He was honest with us about the best course of action, when it would've been so easy to sell us something that we didn't actually need, and I truly appreciate that. I would 100% recommend this company for any pest control advice and will definitely be working with them again in the future, if we have any additional pest issues. read more

I called last week about a possible squirrel in my house. Todd called me back immediately, and when I called again the following week, he again responded immediately. We set up an appointment for the next day, for a 2-hour window. He showed up right on the dot at the beginning of the window and was very friendly. He luckily didn't find anything in his very thorough search. I appreciated that he looked around, even though he told me they don't really do animals (I think he might have said rodents or vermin - don't remember his exact words). I will definitely be using them in I have a pest problem in the future (I hope not, though!) read more

I used green planet a few years back and was just recommending it to a friend when i decided to finally write a review. They were great! honest and helpful. our building was a disaster, I finally convinced our landlord to hire these people because we had mice everywhere. We were on the third floor and they recommended doing a walkthrough of all units below us which I helped coordinate. The culprits were the other tenants who were living a mouse friendly lifestyle. They did a lot of work and the problem was resolved for the rest of my time at that apartment cool people who get rid of pests read more

I gave Green Planet a call after seeing the amazing Yelp reviews as we suspected that termites had at some point gotten into our wood-paneled basement. Todd fit us into his schedule the same week to give it a look. We were happy to find that what looked like termite burrows were not, and instead could have been from the former owners playing darts! While here, Todd also saw evidence of field mice and gave us some tips on how to handle them ourselves. I would be happy to call Todd again if we do end up needing further attention. read more

Very responsive, helpful and have addressed a variety of pest issues for me down the years. Highly recommend.

This year, we got a lovely gift from the universe in the form of bedbugs. Yuck! Needless to say, we wanted them gone as soon as possible. I called a few places, but the guys at Green Planet Pest Control were not only the fastest to respond, but by far the nicest. They fit us in right away to come take a look and then came back a few days later to do their thing. And we have not had any problems since then. After hearing stories about how people had to have their places treated repeatedly to get rip of bed bugs, I was terrified that we would have to do the same, but no. (We did do our part as well by washing and drying everything etc) They were knowledgeable, clear, punctual, and friendly. I would highly recommend them! read more
