Unfortunately they couldn't give me any information until the came for a $95 inspection. Having a toddler in the house I would really need to know what type of spray treatments they use inside of my house for my problem but they wouldn't tell me anything without forking over $95 for an inspection. We had a pest problem for yearssss I'm located on the Chelsea/East Boston border and with all the construction going on we thought getting rid of them was going to be impossible. We had tried all types of traps.. However we noticed a decrease in activity after the very first visit. I love that the service comes with warranty. We used the warranty and had to call someone to come back a few times. Turns out we needed to replace our basement door, where most of the critters were entering from. I woke to a mouse in my room at 3am and ran to yelp. Assurance responded really quick at 6 and were very responsive! They sent someone over at 10am. Joe was really sweet and informative. He came in, did a full scope of the house. He informed us on what he say and his plan. He found the the entry points from outside and sealed them off. He placed traps and bait stations around the home. He told us what we should expect to see in the next few days and weeks. No email confirmation for appt was received. At least give a 15 min heads up...I called the tech shortly after a missed call, ~10 min. No answer. Tried 3 times to reach out to the tech. Texted the tech too. No answer. Mix ups happen with scheduling. But Assurance should have techs that are responsive to calls/texts. Ended up dealing with the rodent situation myself. read more

I had a bedbug scare (who in Boston hasn't?) and hired these guys to come inspect. The owner was prompt and courteous when I requested a quote, and the technician (Eric) who did the inspection was very knowledgeable and thorough, taking time to explain what evidence of bedbugs looked like and tell me exactly what he was looking for as he was inspecting. Eric also advised that services using bedbug-sniffing dogs can be absolutely great, but very much depend on the dog, the handler and just what kind of day the dog is having. Fortunately I was free and clear, so didn't require any more of these guys' services, but with how knowledgeable and thorough they are, I'm sure they'd be great! read more

I've been having a mouse problem over the past few months, perhaps because I have been stocking up in the pantry. In any case, I hired this company and they were quick to respond and put someone on the books for just a few days later. Fred arrived precisely on time, outfitted in PPE, and was extremely professional and courteous. He laid traps and bait throughout my house, and sealed cracks and gaps where they were necessary, even going on top of my roof and into my crawl-space attic. 10/10 would hire again. Customer service is clearly important for them, even in spite of the pandemic, which says a lot. You don't get 5-star reviews in huge numbers like this by accident. read more

Other pest control companies just sprayed the foundation and left. Rob inspected the frass and determined the area needing specific treatment inside the garage. He sprayed and deposited gel and bait stations in that area. He was responsible about spraying the exterior -- delaying while it was raining, but then when the rain stopped, he checked that the foundation was still dry and only then proceeded to spray. read more

He understood our situation and helped me understand more about it, then he explained our options clearly. After we chose the approach we wanted, he sent Dan there in a matter of hours. Dan arrived exactly when promised and was courteous, friendly and professional. He explained everything he was doing in careful detail and, as far as I can tell, ten days later, took care of our problem completely and made a couple of additional suggestions for the future. Everything about the experience was positive. We are going to say good-bye to our usual pest company and sign up for Assurance Pest Solution's regular (semi-annual) service.
