And at that point, no one thought this was a simple DIY project -- what, were we going to smack it down with a baseball bat and run for our lives?!? But we didn't want to use any toxic chemicals -- we have a small dog and there's a daycare right next door with little kids always running around in the yard just downwind. Thankfully there were a number of pest control companies in the area, and when we reached out to several, Green Planet Pest Control responded promptly, answered all our questions, and were able to schedule something within a day or two. The guy who came out to our house wore appropriate protection gear, and got the job done without any toxic chemicals that would've been bad for our dog or kids nearby. He also advised me on what product to get (a fairly pleasant-smelling natural spray with peppermint oil) to keep spraying in the area if I saw any return buildup, that would dissuade the wasps from sticking around. Would 100% recommend.

It was amazingly helpful and reassuring. We were so impressed by how much time he took with us, even though we were not clients. Dealing with this is not a fun experience, but we felt like we got excellent information to tackle it.

I had a rat and mouse problem in my apartment about a week ago. Today we had our follow up inspection with Dan. Dan was not at our initial inspection but it was clear he did his preparation for our follow up inspection. He was already aware of rodent entry points and trap placements. After checking holes, entry ways, and other areas, Dan continued to look for additional points that could potentially be a threat for additional rodents. Fred and his team have provided excellent service with both the preventative maintenance plans and also troubleshooting issues with mice and wildlife. Fred is very responsive and has been on my property the same day when needed. We needed a house checked for termites for an estate sale. The FHA inspector found termite damage nut we didn't know if they were active or old damage. We called APS and set up an appointment. Later Dan called us and said he could do it a few days earlier. Eric was the tech and he was great. Not only did he establish that it was old damage, he pointed out other areas that were problematic for mice. These guys are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend. Hornets were trying to move in behind the electric meter without paying rent! I put out a request on a Saturday and Fred responded within an hour, and we set up a time a couple of days later. He did a great job explaining the situation and what he was going to do, and he also went around the house and gave me some general tips on keeping other pests away. She took our info. and told us a man named Hassan would reach out to us for an appointment and swing by. Days went by, we never heard from Hassan. We called back a second time and she told us this time she would have Steve the owner call us back, but we never heard from Steve either. Days Later, Hassan called and left a VM, but by then we found another company from Waltham that came by immediately the next day to assess the situation and make recommendations. We were left feeling very disappointed by the poor responses rate and cannot recommend this company.
