OMG I am forever indebted to B&B pest control! For life! I won't go anywhere else. Trust me, I've had them all. Orkin, Terminex, some guy who charged me $1,000 for one apartment - he didn't even go in the basement (can't even remember that outfit's name). When I tell you I am the scariest homeowner in Boston, please believe me. I'm so petrified of mice I need therapy. I guess that's why I paid the $1000 - thinking the more you spent the better the results. Long story short, Dave from B&B just left my house. He sensed how petrified I was so he treated me with kid gloves. Dave explained how mice operate and gave me good tips in what and what not to do. He explained to me that my basement was in bad shape in terms of holes and it was the culprit behind the mice situation. He assured me he bated the basement well. And I believe him. I could sense he is a man of integrity who takes his job seriously. I wanted so badly to ask him to pull out the stove but I thought that was too much to ask. When I ever saw him pull out the stove without me asking him, I just wanted to hug him! Of all the other pest control people who have been here, nobody told me my basement was in bad shape (well I kinda felt it was. I won't even go down there) and certainly nobody has ever pulled out the stove! In a nutshell, Dave was so reassuring and made me feel so comfortable. He knew I couldn't handle the gorey details so he didn't give me any. He told me what I needed to know and that's all I wanted. And I trust him and trust the problem will soon go away. Fantastic customer service and quality of work. I got home around 10PM from work and went straight to the kitchen to begin making something to eat. When I opened one of my cabinets, I noticed a hole in the back. When I grabbed a flashlight to see how big the hole was, I noticed a good amount of rodent droppings. I sent B&B Pest an email the same night wondering when their next available appointment would be to have them come and inspect my apartment. I wasn't expecting such a quick response, but when I woke up the next morning. I received a call from an unknown number, so I decided to pick it up and I was surprised that it was someone from B&B Pest. They were calling to let me know that they were already in the area for another job and that they could stop by soon to inspect my kitchen if I was free. When the technician arrived, he went around the kitchen and located a few other holes in the trims. He immediately stepped out and came back with traps and repellent. He installed the traps in the holes and left one or two in all of the other rooms in case the rodents were wandering around the apartment. I was honestly expecting to hear back from them telling me that their next appointment wouldn't be for another couple of days, but to my surprise they came out the next day. They didn't make me wait, they immediately performed actions to help me resolve the issue. It seems like the staff at B&B Pest truly care about their current customers and new potential customers. We had an 'emergency' rat situation in our condo in South Boston -- a rat had crawled inside the kitchen and was running amok, causing severe disruption. I immediately reached out to Jerry. In spite of it being a very, very busy week, Jerry understood the situation, empathized with me and within 30 minutes we had Jerry at our door. Jerry handled the situation very well -- not only was the immediate rat situation brought under control, Jerry also did a deep assessment of the root cause, treated the exteriors and interiors, identified and helped seal all the rat entry points, made recommendations for further repairs and ensured we could get back back to normalcy within an hour. The entire thing was done in the most professional and courteous manner, and I received a formal report in a PDF document with all the details and photographs. We were referred to B+B through a friend who's company strictly uses their services only in their rental units as well as their own home. Jerry talked to us on the phone several times and helped us book our appointment. He also prepped us on everything that needed to be done to ensure proper treatment. I can sometimes worry too much and he assured me that they would have everything under control. He sent out their technician Jeffrey and he was extremely thorough and not to mention very friendly. Answered all questions we had and walked us through everything as to what he was going to do. We had several services done and Jeffrey got everything done in a timely and very efficient manner, he didn't rush through it at all. That was a huge plus for us, the care that goes into the job. If we needed assistance with anything he said to call the office and someone will be by. This type of customer service, you can't find this just anywhere. I'm very impressed with B&B Pest Control, I've used them over the last 6 years or so, and they always do a great job! I've used them mostly for treating either mice or rats at a multi family home. This last month, I needed to treat both, and they sent Anthony who was extremely thorough in setting baits, looking for areas that needed to be plugged with concrete, and explaining the strategy as well as details about how his implementation will work. And sure enough, the activity did slow down and just the way Anthony predicted. The service included follow-up treatment and monitoring, and Anthony gave me great feedback about the progress and details of what I should tell my tenants to do as well to keep rodents from being successful, and detering them most efficiently. I was very impressed, and will call Anthony and B&B for all of my pest control needs. They have proven to be extremely reliable, come prepared, and are very effective in getting rid of rodents and providing good tips and feedback to maintain home without attracting pests, and excellent treatment with great results! I called B & B Pest Control after seeing hundreds of winged insects in my living room. At first I thought they were just a bunch of flies or ants. With the advice of a good friend I called B & B Pest Control to come take a look. The owner, John, came to my home and thoroughly inspected not just the winged insects but the entire property. It turned out I had termites! They had done minimal damage to some of the basement sills but it had the potential to spiral out of the control. I was a new homeowner and really worried but John was calm and reassuring that everything would be fine. He proposed his services at an extremely fair rate and didn't pressure me at all. I called back later that evening to set up the termite service and B & B Pest Control was at my house the next day! We purchased new (to us) house last year; an old Victorian with probably many bugs in its 100-year plus history. We decided to have the house checked over at least once a year, to make sure that we had no unwelcome guests. I sent inquiries to several pest control businesses, all highly rated; John (the owner of B&B) was the first and one of only two folks to follow up. Pat (sales manager) called me later to check that I wasn't having an emergency, which was reassuring and helped me feel like we were in very good hands. Pat was the one who later came to the house; he showed up exactly on time and he was friendly and informative. He found some dead moths and old mouse droppings, but no evidence of live critters. Pat gave me lots of good suggestions to monitor the house myself and wouldn't even charge for the inspection, even though we offered/expected to pay for it. He was very professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions readily, without being condescending or impatient. It's a sign of a good business to offer helpful advice at no charge, and their customer service was excellent. We will definitely keep calling them again as needed - these guys are great. read more

We had another local pest company servicing our building monthly - preemptive pest control. Still we had issues with mice. Come to find out, each time we called them, all they would so is lay out some sticky paper! Anyone could do that- why are we paying you each month for below basic service?! Heard about B&B Pest and called them to come out and help us with the mice issue. The technician I met was out there the next day. He walked through the entire building filling in any areas that were large enough for mice to travel through, baited common areas including in the drop ceilings. We haven't had an issue since! I've contacted B&B each time a pest issue arose since then and without fail they made the scheduling easy and got the job done. The team is friendly and happy to answer all the questions I have! Needless to say we cancelled our contract with the original pest company and hired B&B Pest to service the 6 floor, 40+ unit building monthly. From a property management stand point we can confidently say any stress or pest concerns we had before are gone knowing we have John and his team taking care of things! I live in the Boston area and was experiencing extreme issues with ants throughout my house. I tried a number of different products (inside and out) in an attempt to control this problem to no avail. I called B&B a few weeks ago to come out to my house as we had a hornets nest. They were very prompt and someone got back to me right away. They were able to come to my house within a few days, sprayed, and all was good. Well last night my husband and I noticed more hornets flying around outside, and one got in our house that we had to kill. I called B&B and asked them to come back out as they have a 6 month guarantee. The receptionist originally told me they wouldn't be able to come out for another week. After I accepted that, I decided to email B&B and politely ask if they could come out sooner. We have an 8 month old and I am just worried about him getting stung, especially if they are finding their way into my house. They called me within 10 minutes of my email, and arranged to come out tomorrow to spray again. I have to say I am very pleased so far with the customer service I am getting. Me and my wife recently came back from vacation all to find what appeard to be mouse droppings on our stove. We cleaned them up and thought nothing of it. I recently moved into an apartment in an old three family house in Marblehead.
