I had some hornets nest in my shed.Mike was very nice on the phone and he sent Steve who took care of everything. He said that if I had any concerns not to hesitate to call.I called today and he came over to check they weren't starting another one.I would not hesitate referring them.Great service. read more

We paid for them to come out and spray at our business and the product did not work. When I reached out to let them know we were still seeing an issue with ants they said they would return the next day and did not show. I reached out to let them know services were still needed and he was very dismissive. Not to mention we could've bought the same product from Home depot for less than 20$ and sprayed ourselves and probably would've seen better results. read more

Andover Pest Control exceeded our expectations! They solved our mosquito and tick problem with professionalism and care. Now, our yard is pest-free. Highly recommend their expertise. Thank you for restoring our outdoor sanctuary! read more

Do NOT use this company. There are far better options out there. The owner is dismissive, unresponsive, and does not care whatsoever about the quality of work and does not see through resolution of whatever issue you have going on. IMO the only thing he cares about is getting paid + squeezing in as many jobs as humanly possible in a day. My experience was not a one-off as I hired Andover Pest Control for multiple properties of mine, each having different set of problems. All experiences were of similar nature = over promise and entirely under deliver. I only started using them because the previous exterminator I used for 10+ years passed away and figured I would give a local company a shot. Well, here we are. The work they "completed" not only did not make any difference.... it ultimately caused more issues than when started. I was promised refunds (in writing) of which were never sent or received. Color me surprised Mike didn't stand by his word..... I have since hired a new company to complete all the work and it has been night and day in relation to professionalism, responsiveness, treatment plan, and results. There are some great options and professionally run companies out there so be sure to do your research. I wish I had actually read through the reviews before hiring..... because it looks like my story is not unique. **To address Mike's response, more lies. 1) The property he mentioned that was "strewn with garbage" is accurate. This was a pre-renovation treatment he performed. I had just purchased the property at time of treatment and inherited tenants that had been living there for 20+ years. In fact, the 5 month renovation was just completed this week. 2) The other 2 units he mentions were 2015 gut renovations one of which the most recent tenants had caused over $30,000 in damage. I just completed 3 months of repairs there prior to being comfortable having new tenants move in. 3) His tech waited for 1.5 hours because tenants were late moving out; and the tech happily agreed to wait saying he would just go grab lunch and come back. I went out of way to express to Mike how friendly his tech was and that he was lucky to have a worker like him because they are not easy to find.... to which he chastised me for asking him to wait. 4) Mike has never once been inside my personal property. 5) Mike admitting I had to file to my credit card company for reimbursement is also accurate.... since he stopped responding after saying he would provide refunds. At which point my only option was to contact cc company. Looks like others here have experienced the same. See Anthony S. review dated 11/14/19.** read more

We had problems moving to a new house, mice, ticks , ants, you name it. Andover pest control was the best. Mike the owner was fair, great service, just really good guy to deal with. He was able to get rid of all the pests in short order. I would highly recommend this company read more

Andover Pest Control was great ! I had multiple yellow jacket wasps in the eaves of my roof. When I explained that they would need at least a 40 foot ladder to get access to them, he said, no problem! When can be there tomorrow. They got to my house, and took care of all of the wasps. They haven't been back since. I'm not sure if what I paid was a cheap price or if i overpaid, but I really don't care because my wasp issue is gone. Totally worth the cost. I would use them again. read more

Mike is a coward and will perform services at your home as if they're 100% certain to work, sell you on a guarantee in case it doesn't, then because he did a terrible job, the pests will never actually be gone, and instead all you'll have left is a guarantee... a guarantee he won't take your phone calls, and will actually tell you the words out loud "no" when you tell him you want to show him an area of the house you think the infestation is occurring. Then he'll try to charge you additional fees to perform services that will be damaging to your home and require you to then hire a contractor to repair, because the first services he assured you would work didn't. I paid a fortune and am still living with pests. I also gained a new filthy rat in my life: Mike from Andover Pest Control. Ultimately, because my issues persisted and Mike refused to either refund me or complete the services he was paid for, I had no choice but to dispute his charges on my credit card - a case I won and was wholly refunded for. Shows you just how blatantly in the wrong he was. Having receipts for the additional pest control I had to hire certainly helped. But despite me having my money back, and having the satisfaction of some justice, the truth is this man put my family through hell of sleepless nights not only due to the pests he couldn't get rid of, but due to the stress of dealing with him, wondering if my issues would be resolved, wondering if I'd get my money back, and having to go through all the steps of the dispute. I've given dozens of reliable reviews here but if you only listen to one let it be this. Mike from Andover Pest is pure scum and you'll end up with a rodent far worst than any infestation you already are dealing with. Enjoy paying the bank my money back, Mike! read more

We have called Mike (Andover Pest Control) several times over the past 15 years for pest issues at our home. He has always come out quickly, dealt with the problem efficiently and without fuss, and at a price I consider very reasonable. I will continue to use his company whenever we need one. Today I had a bit of trouble reaching him because an out-of-area competitor had done something sneaky with the Internet search and I ended up speaking with their salesman, not Mike. When I figured out what was going on, I hung up and started over. When I finally reached him, he came over (at 7 PM) and took care of a big nest of yellowjackets that we just discovered. That is some great service! It pays to deal with someone who is really local, not just a local phone number for an office 40 miles away. read more

This company did not do effective work for me because it didn't last. They were not helpful to me after initial work. They didn't return calls and were curt and rude. I still have the ant problem. Here's the story: The company responded to an ant problem in my house. He sprayed all around with chemicals, and said it would take 3 weeks to be effective. He suggested that the hedges around the base of the house were too close to the building so ants could get into the house too easily. So I and two other people took on the laborious Job of trimming back so as not to damage the hedges. It seemed to solve the problem, but the ants returned after the 3 months. I called him, no answer, left a message. Still no reply. So I called again later, he listened to me, and hung up on me. read more

NO NOT call this company! Mike gave us a 3 yr warranty after his service. Pest came back and he never returned my calls, over a week trying to get in touch with him. Oh and he charged a $$$ ladder fee with the 10 ft ladder used! Awful service, unreliable, not sure how you can run a company like that. I wished I read his bad reviews before calling. read more

He made a commitment, I paid and they didn't come close to solving the problem and was unresponsive. Then wanted me to pay more. Do not use this company. Total fraud. read more

I have never been treated with this level of rudeness by a business. I called to inquire about an unexpected worker at my door, in an unmarked van. The owner was dismissive and hung up on me. I called back several times and went right to voicemail. He finally picked up and when I said he was being rude I was told "You started this with an attitude". I then asked for a refund to which he sarcastically said "Ya, no problem" I asked him when that would be and he said "Good luck with that" and hung up on me again. read more

Mike, the owner, answered my call the first time, offered to come by within the hour to assess a bee problem we were having and upon inspection promptly began to solve the problem. He was quick and courteous, offered a solution to prevent the issue from occurring again and I couldn't be more grateful for his prompt & professional service! read more

This is my third time using them. Every time has been a GREAT experience!! Top notch people and company. Previously we had Mike and another guy and they were able to track down the path and source of the ants. They resolved the issue and we have not seen an ant in the house for about 2 years. We saw a couple this past month and we called Andover Pest Control again. Matt came out and investigated for issues and the path. He explained and showed me the issues. He treated the entire house and the path of ants. He also identified where a woodpecker is attacking our house to feed on the insects. He gave me some great ideas if the woodpecker comes back. Matt was awesome. If you have any pest issues, you should call Andover Pest Control. I AM!! www.andoverpestcontrol.com read more

Mike came to my house 6 months ago in June and collected $375 to take care of a squirrel problem. Set traps, filled holes, but now they're back. Never completely eliminated my squirrels. Mike was very responsive, efficient and professional. I will definitely call him next time I need help with any animal or insect problem. Thanks Mike! read more

Never called back, called them many times. They were supposed to come out and never did. Matt came out for an initial assessment and Mike never returned my calls after that. I called 3-4 times and left voicemails. Mike did pickup one time and said he was drafting up my quote and would call back and of course didn't. Bad service. I took my protection plan elsewhere read more

Mike is prompt and professional. The annual contract is a great deal. This is our 3rd year with a contract and. It is much less expensive than paying a la carte. He has shown up on holidays with just a few hours notice. I highly recommend Andover pest control. read more

We had a squirrel living in our chimney behind our fireplace insert. We called the Animal Control Officer who spent a couple of hours trying to coax him out with no luck. I called Andover Pest Control and Mike showed up within a half hour. He had a plan and it worked! He caught the squirrel in a cage with a one way gate then sealed up the area he was getting in. I am so glad the squirrel didn't get in my house because of the damage they can do. Mike is very efficient and professional and I recommend him highly! read more

Had a huge yellow jacket nest the size of a basketball in our attic. Andover Pest was at my house in less than an hour. Very patient with my wife while I was at work. I gave the ok and they had the nest exterminated and removed quickly. Fast friendly service with a fair price. read more

Mike is the biggest piece of garbage that has walked this earth. He actually walked out of a house filled with wasps because we wouldnt pay his $500 ladder fee. He said if he had to use his ladder to get the wasps it would be an additional $500! Oh and his solution was a can of Raid! $500 to spray raid into a hole! He also had no intention of removing them, just spraying some raid! I am also filing against him with the Attorney Generals office so the state knows hes price gouging people in their time of need! Pure scum. read more

Andover pest control was recommended to me to get rid of yellow jackets in the eaves of my cellar entry. I called and spoke to mike. He had his worker come right over. The worker sprayed the section that the nest was in. Then gave me a bill for 290.00 for 20 minutes of spraying. This was a complete ripoff. I made the mistake of not asking how much they would charge because they were recommended by a friend and I didn't think they would have been recommended if their fees were so exorbitant. I should have stayed with pest end who has always charged reasonable prices. Needless to say I wouldn't call Andover pest control again. Even if I was infested with yellow jackets. read more

We tried to deal with the mouse problem in our house ourselves, without success, for too long. We then called Andover Pest Control, and they did a great job, coming to the house three or four times until the mice were all gone. The technician was always on time and courteous. A job well done. Thank you so much! read more

Terrible service. They informed us that the house was covered for bee treatments all summer after paying a substainal amount of money. Called them to come back out a few times as the issue continued. They said they would add a ladder fee if they came out again. They stopped answering our calls completely. Do not use this company. read more

Owner hung up on me! I had an invoice to have my yard sprayed for ticks and mosquitoes. Invoice description stated 7 sprays, so I was a bit surprised to get another invoice for 3. Turns out his office accidentally charged me for 4 not 7. I called and spoke to the owner and explained it really wasn't my problem that his office screwed up. Before I could ask him to meet me half way, he rudely said not to worry about he would finish the job and hung up on me! Needless to say I told him though text not to worry about it. read more
