Wow, Wow , Wow, is a good place to start with this review. After year of difficulties in finding a good and reliable window cleaner, my search is over. I took a chance with Window Cleaner Expert out of Winchester. Everything was handled online and it was easy to schedule. Danny requested a few pictures of the area to be cleaned and he scheduled me asap. Had an estimate in minutes. The work was done Sunday morning by two great individuals (Ricky and Renee) they were great at keeping me from flipping out as I find the process anxiety provoking. They arrived early and got to work, Ricky answered all of my questions and said he would take of everything. They both did!! Very respectful individuals. EDIT TO REVIEW: I didn't see a spot to respond to the owner's response to my original review, so I will edit it and respond here. I will not remove any additional stars although I'm tempted to do so. Within an hour of posting my original review, I got two emails from this business. One explained about the seal of my windows and I thought oh, alright, perfectly reasonable, I might change my rating! But then I quickly got the second email telling me the owner of the business would be coming to my home himself to check things. I called and he said he was in front of my building. I let him in, ready to apologize and tell him I understood the mistake about the window seals was mine, but he immediately started very aggressively laying into me. His voice was raised and he was going on about how dare I post a three-star review that cost him business and how I should have reached out to him first. I can't stress enough how aggressive he was. I told him I didn't appreciate his tone and that he had no right to speak to me like that. I said I understood about the window seals and that was on me, but that he had no right to raise his voice to me or try to intimidate me into taking down my review. He didn't stop until I--a single woman living alone--felt I had to tell him to leave for my own safety. I told him "Please leave" and was almost chanting it at one point because he seemed to completely disregard my request. He was saying how he'd left his family on a Sunday to come deal with me. I did not feel safe. He finally left my apartment and the last thing I heard as I closed the door on him was him threatening me with legal action. I should have listened to the one 1-star review I read. I only got the response on Yelp long after the owner had left my place. Saying how they'd be happy to send a technician AFTER the business-owner had come himself to yell and scream at me, no thank you. Be careful with this business. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I contacted Windows Cleaning Expert for a window and gutter cleaning quote. The communication was quick, helpful, and good value for the service. The cleaners showed up on the day they were supposed to but it was a weekday so I wasn't at home to supervise. I'd specified that there were exactly 9 windows to clean, 7 regular-sized and 2 small ones one the side of the building. When I came home to examine the work, I noticed that the cleaners had missed both the small windows, and one of the regular-sized windows. And it's not like I mistook some smudging on the inside for external dirt, it's pretty obvious the windows have just not been cleaned. Kind of disappointed. The gutter cleaning was great and I got the photos as promised. But I wish they'd been more thorough with the window cleaning. read more
