In fact, the 5 month renovation was just completed this week. 2) The other 2 units he mentions were 2015 gut renovations one of which the most recent tenants had caused over $30,000 in damage. I just completed 3 months of repairs there prior to being comfortable having new tenants move in. 3) His tech waited for 1.5 hours because tenants were late moving out; and the tech happily agreed to wait saying he would just go grab lunch and come back. I went out of way to express to Mike how friendly his tech was and that he was lucky to have a worker like him because they are not easy to find.... to which he chastised me for asking him to wait. 4) Mike has never once been inside my personal property. 5) Mike admitting I had to file to my credit card company for reimbursement is also accurate.... since he stopped responding after saying he would provide refunds. 1 Star - Unreliable Service When It Matters Most…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Freedome Pest Control. At the beginning, everything seemed fine. They treated my property and, while there were no issues, they had no problem charging me every month. Unfortunately, when I actually needed their help again, the service completely fell apart. We started having mice again in a home with a six-month-old baby, so this was not something we could ignore or delay. I scheduled an appointment and waited a full week. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up and no one called. I only received a call an hour and a half after the appointment window, explaining that the technician had an emergency. Emergencies are understandable -- the lack of communication is not. What made this worse was that they then tried to reschedule the visit another 10 days later, despite the active pest issue and the presence of an infant in the home. When I expressed my concern and asked to cancel my membership, I was told a manager would call me. No one did. I called again the next day to cancel and was told the same thing -- that a manager would call me. Again, no call. Instead, I was told I am locked into a one-year contract. A contract for what? Paying monthly, missed appointments, no follow-up, and no accountability? This experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful, especially with a young baby at home. The company seems happy to take your money when everything is quiet, but disappears when there is a real problem that needs urgent attention. I would not recommend Freedome Pest Control to anyone, particularly families with small children who need reliable and responsive service.

There has continued to be bat droppings found as well. The exclusion was "completed" (note: it wasn't) in the Fall of 2023, but we continued to hear noises in the attic. Safer Nature continued to say there is no evidence of bats, which is false. We can hear them moving, chirping, and are still finding bat droppings. The job was never actually completed and Safer Nature says our 1-year warranty is up. How can the warranty period be over if the bats were never actually excluded from our home - not to mention that they didn't "finish" the exclusion until the Fall? How can a warranty period start before work is complete? I do not like to post negatively about local businesses, but bat exclusion is very expensive - Safer Nature never finished the job and refuses to back up their work. I now have to find someone else to do the job correctly, which will cost another significant amount of money Cannot recommend working with this business.
