We have used Patriot for tick and mosquito prevention the last couple of years. We decided this year in an effort to save some money, we would take a break from the service. Unfortunately, they showed up and spayed our yard without consent. Usually I am the one that makes contact with a Patriot to pay in full for services at the beginning of the season. This year, I decided not to contact. We didn't receive any communication from them, no phone calls, text, mail to ask to renew. When I saw that the yard was getting sprayed, I immediately went outside to talk to the employee. He said that it was OK and it was just a mistake, and it would be free of charge and handed me a copy of the statement so I could call the office. I immediately called the company and spoke with Katie, she informed me that they would still be charging my credit card $120. Which makes no sense, because for the year we usually pay less than $500. When I told her we no longer wanted their services, she said I would need to speak to a manager to cancel and I would still need to pay. We didn't hear back from anyone at all. Since my husband is on the statement, he called several times with no response. He finally got ahold of someone today. They were extremely rude and refused to cancel the charge, even though we didn't sign a statement or hear from them to renew. After being a solid customer for several years and paying my bill upfront before spring, I feel like this is terrible customer service and they should be ashamed. Current customers need to check their credit cards, because this place is scamming people.

I have an irrigation system and I now have damage to my sprinkler heads. Both myself and husband had to take time off work, out of our day to deal with the mess. Their operations manager, Justin, had an attitude and did not offer a sincere apology. In fact there wasn't one at all. I am beyond irate that I have to clean up after their mess/damage. Do not use this company!

IMO the only thing he cares about is getting paid + squeezing in as many jobs as humanly possible in a day. My experience was not a one-off as I hired Andover Pest Control for multiple properties of mine, each having different set of problems. All experiences were of similar nature = over promise and entirely under deliver. I only started using them because the previous exterminator I used for 10+ years passed away and figured I would give a local company a shot. Well, here we are. The work they "completed" not only did not make any difference.... it ultimately caused more issues than when started. I was promised refunds (in writing) of which were never sent or received. Color me surprised Mike didn't stand by his word..... I have since hired a new company to complete all the work and it has been night and day in relation to professionalism, responsiveness, treatment plan, and results. There are some great options and professionally run companies out there so be sure to do your research. I wish I had actually read through the reviews before hiring..... because it looks like my story is not unique. **To address Mike's response, more lies. 1) The property he mentioned that was "strewn with garbage" is accurate. This was a pre-renovation treatment he performed. I had just purchased the property at time of treatment and inherited tenants that had been living there for 20+ years. In fact, the 5 month renovation was just completed this week. 2) The other 2 units he mentions were 2015 gut renovations one of which the most recent tenants had caused over $30,000 in damage. I just completed 3 months of repairs there prior to being comfortable having new tenants move in. 3) His tech waited for 1.5 hours because tenants were late moving out; and the tech happily agreed to wait saying he would just go grab lunch and come back. I went out of way to express to Mike how friendly his tech was and that he was lucky to have a worker like him because they are not easy to find.... to which he chastised me for asking him to wait. 4) Mike has never once been inside my personal property. 5) Mike admitting I had to file to my credit card company for reimbursement is also accurate.... since he stopped responding after saying he would provide refunds.
