I would give this company zero stars if possible. He showed up two hours early to our first appointment (8:30am instead of 10am) and told us we could either let him in or we'd have to reschedule. We were given no more than 30 minutes to move all our belongings to the center of each room, get the cat we live with into a kennel, and prepare to vacate the premises for upwards of 3 hours. He told us that next time we could keep our cat in the apartment if he was closed in a room until the pest spray dried, and Guy said himself he does not wear a mask while spraying because it is not toxic. As we were leaving, he told us that to avoid miscommunication he would be back at the same time next week-- and was late to that too. We were up and had the whole apartment prepared by 8:30am on a Friday, and by 10am he hadn't called nor had we heard from him. We had to call him and he laughed at us and said "No, I had you down for a different time. I'll be there soon." The third time he showed up 20 minutes late and left before 15 minutes even went by. He told us he would switch us to a biweekly treatment, and the Friday he was supposed to show up he no-call no-showed. When we called he sent us to voicemail three times before confirming that he forgot about us and he'd be back on Saturday. At 11pm on Friday he texted us and said he had a fever and couldn't come until Sunday. He then told us he was coming Monday at 11:30, and this morning, Monday 10/12, another man named Evan showed up to do our pest spray. He told us our cat should not be in the apartment for pest spraying, and he wore a mask while spraying. Evan went outside of our apartment to call Guy on speakerphone, right outside one of my roommate's windows, and Guy told Evan that "I've told the girls not to have the cat in there, they don't listen" after he repeatedly assured us our cat would be fine in the apartment. We also heard Guy say, loud and clear, "You can't trust these girls, some of them are trans." As in transgender. When we confronted Evan, he told us "That's what my boss said, I didn't say that." When we confronted Guy he denied saying such a thing. I am never allowing Guy into our apartment again, and feel disrespected, condescended, and like my identity has been used as an excuse to be a shitty contractor. Guy has consistently had poor communication, a rude demeanor, and treats us (a group of college students in our senior year) as stupid little girls who don't know anything. If you are a college student in need of pest control, go with literally anyone else. K&G Pest Control is a transphobic, unprofessional, and unreliable business that I hope never to be in contact with again. Horrible business.
