He is a true gentleman. His staff is also excellent. I decided from now on I will only come here even though I have moved to Long Island recently. The drive is worth it.

I gave the optometrist my glasses and a prescription saying the glasses were perfect and I wasn't sure if the prescription was correct. He chose to fill the prescription. Needless-to say, it was incorrect. He blamed the writer of the prescription saying he was trying to trick me to have anyone else filling the prescription make the wrong glasses so that I would return to him. He then used my glasses to get a new prescription. The glasses he made caused me to see double. He again blamed the old optometrist. He had me come in to see his optometrist for a brand new prescription. I was kept waiting for over 45 minutes, during which time the client scheduled after me already entered. The doctor checked my eyes but "didn't bring his equipment to test for prisms" - the one problem that the glasses he gave me had. But he promised that for the next exam I would be his first patient. The next week I showed up and lo and behold the doctor was with another patient. He told me he didn't realize he promised me the first appointment and said "I guess I need a REAL appointment book". The glasses that were then made were still wrong and made me see double. He refused to refund my money and I am still waiting for a solution. When I originally ordered the glasses I called after over four weeks because I hadn't heard from them. I was told "The glasses are here but I don't know if they came back from the maker or weren't sent out yet. I'll call you tomorrow to let you know. Four days later I called him because I hadn't heard from them and was told - Oh yes, they're ready. I don't know why you weren't called.

I do not like going to Oceanside. I had an awful high school experience and I get an eerie feeling whenever I have to go there. With all that being said, I had an unpleasant experience at Nassau visions today. My girlfriend came with me today to Nassau visions because I do not like driving to places by myself. I had to wear my girlfriend's glasses to drive. I told the three receptionist (I'm not sure why there's three people there) that I had to wear her glasses. There was no comment made about me wearing her prescription lenses at that time. Anyways, I go to the back with the optician. When I come out of the optician, I saw my girlfriend very upset. I ask her what's wrong. She says, she will tell me later. Yada yada I pick my glasses out and sample contacts. Pay for it and leave. I come to find out from my girlfriend later that the THREE receptionists ganged up on my girlfriend and gave her sh*t about her letting me drive and I shouldn't be wearing her glasses. My girlfriend doesn't even have her license. There was no one else who could get me to the appointment except me and I wasn't paying for an Uber because I feel totally FINE driving. It wasn't a problem. I do not know who these elitist, bogus, hateful, disgusting, and meaningless tyrants think they are. I'm through being talked down to and that includes my girlfriend. I'm 22 years old man not a 5 year old kid. How dare you connive and wiggle your worm-self into making my girlfriend very upset and angry. What good does it do? I called the same day for an appointment and they were able to fit me in. No wait! As I entered both Ladies were welcoming and briefed me with my insurances.(which I loved, I never know which insures covers what) Social distance was a priority. Everything was clean and welcoming. The doctor was able to see me right away, I literally spent no more than 45 min with exam. She was extremely nice, easy to speak to, (some doctors get right to the point and brief) she was very thorough, explained the exams and completed the different eye tests! She took her time where I didn't feel like I was a number or a patient entering a revolving door! I inquired about colored contacts she even provided me with samples of different colored contacts! Stopped in for a repair on my eye frames and although they could not do that I was treated royally. An alternate was proposed and DANIEL G worked tirelessly at solving the problem, with a smile. Was able to get a new frame using existing lenses and no muss or fuss. The experience was very positive and I will be back.
