Professional! Quick! Super nice staff! I currently have "The Teacher Insurance" and my husbands insurance (MTA) This is the only place that takes both! BEYOND HAPPY! I called the same day for an appointment and they were able to fit me in. No wait! As I entered both Ladies were welcoming and briefed me with my insurances.(which I loved, I never know which insures covers what) Social distance was a priority. Everything was clean and welcoming. The doctor was able to see me right away, I literally spent no more than 45 min with exam. She was extremely nice, easy to speak to, (some doctors get right to the point and brief) she was very thorough, explained the exams and completed the different eye tests! She took her time where I didn't feel like I was a number or a patient entering a revolving door! I inquired about colored contacts she even provided me with samples of different colored contacts! I've been using vision quest for 3 years. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. The nicest people, extremely accommodating, and in general the best eye wear. The doctors are awesome and thorough. I've been to Vision Quest 2 years in a row for my new frames and lenses. The staff is friendly and patient, something you'll definitely appreciate if you like to try on lots of different pairs to find your fit and style, and if you need someone to deal with your insurance for you. There selection was pretty expansive, with higher end brands but decently price. The owner, Jenn, help me try on a couple of different sets to try out a new style, but I'm picky and happily went with the same brand and model I've been using for a few years. read more

Darn it! I ran out of contacts! Ugh why do I always wait till the last moment?! Gave my normal eye place a call to order a few boxes, and was told my prescription had expired and needed a new eye exam. With the crazy weather, I knew I wouldn't be able to make it there before my contacts basically permanently affixed themselves to my eyeballs. I needed something local. I called my insurance company and they said that Vision Quest was covered under my plan. I had been there a billion years ago and actually got my first pair of glasses here. I figured the place to be a bit dated because when I was here back in 1999, it was. I rocked the ugliest pair of glasses for a while. That is NOT the case anymore. We walked in and place looked brand spanking new! It was spacious and we were immediately greeted by the lovely staff. We asked if they could squeeze me in to get my eyes examined that day (Saturday) and they said absolutely. Really? It is that easy! I must say, that was never the case at my old eye place. I was pleasantly surprised. There were three women working the counters and each and everyone of them interacted with me in some way and couldn't have been more professional and nice. They advised that the Optician would be with me shortly. After practically no wait, I was in the darkened room, reading the lighted, writing on the wall (ERHJDS2. ha ha ha!) The Optician was funny, accommodating and proficient. After a short time, I was fitted with new contacts, and my sweet new contact lens kit. I am not exactly sure why I was so surprised with the speedy and friendly service, but seriously, I could not have been more pleased. As I stepped up to the counter, I was given a rebate form to mail in, itemized receipt, and perfect instruction on how to actually get my rebate. Another perk is that they scheduled it so my contacts will arrive in my mailbox. Awesome-ness! Super convenient. Not sure I will get my specs here, as I didn't find a style I loved. Nice selection though...I am just pretty particular. Great place. HIGHLY recommend. Extra Notes: Self-serve coffee and Keurig station. Clean bathroom. Two entrances. Easy to park in the back. Jovial Staff - they seem to be friends beyond the job. If you have insurance, they will def inform you. read more

I called Vision Quest, inquiring about the motor vehicle eye exam. The person picked up the phone right away, was very pleasant and informative. She said that I could just walk-in, and did not need an appointment. I arrived shortly thereafter, of course with a proper face covering. I was immediately greeted very pleasantly by all the staff, who also had on proper face coverings. The doctor was called out quickly, after I gave staff my drivers license. I was taken into the exam room, where I was given a proper eye exam by the doctor, who was also very pleasant! The results were immediately put into motor vehicle system, I paid the nominal fee of $20.00 and was on my way in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this business for a very pleasant experience, which could otherwise been nerve wracking. read more

I moved to Long Island a couple of years ago and have been going to Vision Quest since the move. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I've purchased lenses and glasses from and here and both prescriptions are perfect for me. I wear multifocal lenses and have had some terrible experiences at other places. Switched to Vision Quest this year for my daughter and myself and couldn't be happier. Everything is done right there in the office. Our glasses were made in two days, updated prescription, and they were able to swap out a broken frame right then and there. I am giving a bad review because I think I have been had. I ordered a pair of glasses, they took 2 weeks to get when i went in they were coke bottle glasses, not wearable but Jen insisted people wore glasses the thickness of a stack of paper 100 sheets thick. I replied I do not. sent back a second time and a third time till they were finally right A month passed. And now I was charged an extra 100.00 for the glasses to be done properly like they should have been done to begin with, she did lower it to 50 dollars but I think I should not have had to pay a thing extra when I could have gotten the same glasses else wear for the same price within a week and none of this trouble. I am so disappointed in them that I will never go back and absolutely would not recommend them to anyone. very unprofessional. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about VISION Quest in Lynbrook, N.Y. The team of people there are amazing. There is a great mom and pop feel of this store. Jackie is such a nice person and so down to earth. I needed my lenses replaced and she did not want me to send out my frames because I am such a busy person. She called me when they arrived and told me the best time to come in and have them set into my frames. They were ready in half an hour! This place is unlike any other eyeglass store I've ever been to before... And that's a good thing! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with giving you honest feedback about which frames looked the best. I didn't sense any pushiness or pressure to buy whatsoever. They helped me figure out which insurance plan I had (even though that should have been my responsibility!) and they easily accommodated my busy schedule by giving me an appointment that worked best for me.
