Broken elements of the sink in the Toilet. The drain connection.
    Melissa G.

For a Cheaper price... You too can have a Room with NO-MICROWAVE... No Wi-Fi... a Broken sink in the Bathroom... Very Noisy street. And immediate neighbors (Thin walls)... not to mention the incredibly poor customer service when asking about a microwave. I've patronized this motel many times over the years but never again.

***** please read ********* I have never in my life stayed at the worst hotel. Upon arriving at the place I was greeted by an elderly and legally blind woman behind the counter. I felt bad for her so I read all of my card information and all of the confirmation information to her several times and waited there for almost a half hour outside in the cold before she could check me in properly. It was about midnight by the time I checked in and I went to my room and fell Asleep immediately. I woke up in the early afternoon and hop in the shower. I was greeted by mold on the ceiling and door frames from the bathroom being improperly vented and dirty (pictured). I thought ew this is gross but I'll put up with it for one more night not a big deal. When do you put my clothes away and was greeted by Rat poop in the drawer (ew) (pictured). By this time I'm no longer interested in staying there and started to make the bed. The bed was covered in little blood stains from what looked to be bedbugs. At this point I pack my shit and I'm ready to leave. I go talk to the manager and tell her I'm not staying in this hotel and she informed me that because it is mid afternoon she will still be charge me for the night!!!! I stayed there one night and have now been charged for four. (Pictured) I have also been on the phone for an hour a total of four hours with their outsourced customer service agency that does not care about their consumer At all. I urge you. Do you not stay in this nasty disgusting hole in the wall. You're better off saving your money and sleeping in your car with the heater on then being robbed by this nasty hotel Ps They have two hotline numbers to call to complain an 800 number and corporate office. I will include screenshots of both of those phone calls

    Door was dirty eww

Ya don't stay here!! bathroom was moldy, freezer didn't work, beds had a sink in the middle so it was very uncomfortable all night, no ice (ice maker machine broke outside), TV remotes didn't work, hotel phone didn't have a cord/plug so couldn't call the office lol .. Ac yikes.

My cousin made this reservation for me having never stayed here they used an online site. I paid for a 1 bedroom Suite with two double beds. I got 2 rooms connected via a door way. The "bedroom was 24" wider than the two beds. There is a crack where the ceiling and outside wall meet. The shower has mold in the corners and along the bottom wall/tub rim, there is no non-slip anything in the tub bottom as a Disabled Veteran with 12 knee surgeries including an artificial one it sure would have been nice to shower without leaning against the wall for support, and there is a water leak in the bathroom above the sink and instead of fixing it they painted over it. Notice the wires hanging down loose and the smoke detector was just sitting on top of the microwave. Had it not have been a major event weekend I would have went to the Hilton down the street. I've attached a couple of photos.

No idea why people have left such bad reviews! The room was extremely nice and very clean! Entire staff were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeper kept up with everything and we stayed for 5 nights. Quiet motel, no ruckus from other guests or anything. Super nice bath/shower, the shower head has three settings which makes it very comfortable. No bugs, not even ants which infest almost everything in Eugene. I would also like to add, if you book a suite at an Econo Lodge, it's not going to be like a suite in a Marriott. That's why the prices are so low. We stayed in the suite room and it was very nice! Living room area with a couch and two queen beds as well as a microwave and a mini fridge!

    Enough said.

Don't stay here. Just book somewhere else. Everything here says the owner just couldn't care less. No excuses for the unclenliness and grossness of this room. This room cost me just under $80 for the night.

I called and spoke with the general manager, Gita, about my experience in their establishment. She attempted to make excuses for the state of her facility, passed blame onto the staff she has running the place, and then said she'd give me a 30% credit for my room. I have yet to see a refund on my card, but perhaps the 3-5 business days kind of thing applies to this? I'm extremely disappointed in this entire experience. Choice Hotels, this place is dragging your name through the mud.

What a dump!! For $150/night this place was way below what is expected for that price. Bed cover had cigarette burns in it. The freezer wasn't working and had some dirty liquid thawing in it. The refrigerator was leaking water onto the floor. We had 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper with no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. There was a gap in the wall around the bathtub- ever heard of caulk?? There was a cabinet door that didn't close because of a broken latch and we had to wedge it closed or else it hung open. Learned my lesson. Should have debit it better. Never staying at an Econolodge again .

Are you kidding me? Ghetto motel. Front desk clerk had readers and was using two (TWO) magnifying glass to see the computer monitor and took 30 minutes to check in because she couldn't do her job. The key cards she gave us didn't work so we had to go back to get two different ones. Then the toilet runs all night and we wake up to a big puddle in the bathroom from the toilet. I tell them we need more towels and the toilet fixed while we are gone and they never show. I call and they make me go to the front desk to get towels. Once there they say they can't do anything for the toilet(which is still running) with a puddle again forming on the floor. Breakfast is coffee and danishes. That's it. No juice no cereal. Spend a few extra bucks and avoid the CRAPPY place with the broken door latch and the broken toilets...

    Blood on the sheets@&#$$@?!??!!

I would recommend that you take a good look in your hotel room before hand. I don't even want to give this a star. They had to move me and my fiance to three different rooms because the first room had black mold on the ceiling above our bed and hair on the towels and what looks like blood all over the walls. Second room, the shower was broken along with a dirty fridge and hair all over the counters. Our third room, dirty towels, toilet and sinks leaking with rust around the faucet. Didn't have the same appliences (microwave, fridge, etc.) I would highly highly recommend going somewhere else!

AVOID AT ALL COST. MOST DISGUSTING HOTEL EVER. MILDEW, MOLD, DIRTY GROUT, AND ANTS

AVOID AT ALL COST! MOST DISGUSTING HOTEL EVER. MILDEW, MOLD, DIRTY GROUT AND ANTS!! Plus the toilet ran all night and the smell of our room is indescribable. So sad we paid $150 for a horrible room after the ducks football game. Note to self if ever planning another trip to Eugene for a ducks game, book a room ASAP as places like this are what's available for last minute.

4 days and they keep telling me to email their General Manager, like man I just want my money back

The room smelled like cigarette smoke, I had a low grade nausea the whole time in the room. The mattress was old and not very supportive.

Check-in was smooth, and the staff member who greeted us was genuinely pleasant and cool, giving us some extra water and few green bags of goodies (returned the next day), promising to wave the parking fee. That's where the positives ended. After a long drive, we dropped our bags in da rooms and went out for a dinner without inspecting our rooms a bit closely. When we returned later that night and checked the beds with a UV light, we were shocked to find stains on both beds. It was darn disturbing (photos attached)! We went down to the front desk to report it. The night staff told us there was no one available to change the linens and no other rooms available to change at full occupancy. Instead, we were handed a set of sheets and sent back to deal with it ourselves. After 10 PM, exhausted, we had no real choice but to accept it. In the morning, we raised the issue again with the new front desk rep. The replacement sheets were not much better, and despite our complaint, the response was limited to verbal apologies only. We were still charged full price for the night, plus a $20 parking fee for overfilled parking lot that's essentially had open access from the street. This is not the level of cleanliness or service expected from a Hyatt. Do your due diligence and do not assume standards are being met. Check your room carefully before settling in. Breakfast on the other hand was great! Variety of eggs, milks and healthy choices beat other Hyatt locations we stated at the next day in Portland. Loved it, and that what basically got the stars.

Not mentioned in any reviews that I read prior to staying here: a mainline of the Union Pacific Railroad is just three blocks away. At least three times during the dead of night, trains came through with the horns blowing loudly at each of many crossings through this part of Eugene. Unbelievably loud!!! People living in this area must be able to tune it out, but we were NOT used to this. Because the Campbell House is up a hill from the railroad, it seems that horns can be heard unimpeded by other structures (despite the massive 18 floor Ya-Po-Ah Terrace building nearby). I would suggest wearing ear plugs during the night. Nevertheless, I would consider staying hear again if traveling on my own, but my wife would probably veto it we were both traveling.
