Coco Licious is a delicious vegan chocolate product that has serious chocolate flavor with healthy ingredients-its good for you and tastes good! We are talking low glycemic, raw, vegan, gluten free product that still retains wonderful chocolate flavor. I bought the Mint Heaven, sold in a plastic small box-the pieces are hand made like in a fun variety of shapes: hearts, squirrels, G Clefs, leaves, this is fun and beautiful. OK-taste? You will think its regular chocolate ! There are a number of flavors, and you can buy the product in bar size, perfect for hiking, traveling, and a healthy snack for work. Some of the ingredients are cacao, coconut and cashew butters, organic carob, and organic palm blossom crystals. A bonus-Coco Licious is made right here in your home state of Colorado, in Boulder and available at Vitamin Cottage, Whole Foods in the Boulder area (hopefully all over Colorado in the future) Each bite savored the palate, and it was a struggle not to eat the entire box! We received almond butter cups that tasted and appeared to be peanut butter cups in almond butter packaging. We had multiple people try and compare them and everyone said it tasted, smelled and looked just like peanut butter, not like the almond butter cups we've had before. We've ordered the almond and peanut butter cups multiple times previously and can tell the difference. When I tried to bring this to the attention of the company, they were not concerned at all! That is such a dangerous mistake if we are correct! We also noticed that the numbers on the nutrition labels are off and don't add up right. So, I don't trust that what is listed on the package is what is in the product. And to top it off, they wouldn't even give me a refund unless I packaged the products in dry ice and shipped them back at my cost in perfect condition so they could sell them to someone else! This does not seem like best practices for a perishable consumable, or customer service.

They are my staple sweet as they have no refined sugar, no dairy, and are just delicious. I just tried her carob bark for the first time, and it's equally delicious. She recently opened this storefront, so being the fan that I am, I dropped by and picked up a few things from her shop as well as toured the attached production facility with Missy J herself! So cool! I got to hear the story about why she started the business, which was inspiring and fun. Stop by Missy J's and get some delicious stuff, but also meet the awesome lady behind the brand! Bonus: Boulder Beer's tap room is across the street, if you are into beer, go get some afterward. :) There are actually a lot of little places hidden away by Missy J's, next time I'll spend more time checking out the others.

Just wish that they were a little less expensive, and those that are didn't feature a "nut blend" containing cashews (which are neither raw nor okay for those of us who prefer to avoid inflammatory/acid forming elements). I prefer the Soul Sprout over the other granola bars (boxed, containing oats), which are rather horrible with an unpalatable texture (sorry). Other than that, I quite like what I've tried. =)

I have not been to any of the others so I cannot compare in size and item selection. But it seemed pretty comprehensive to me. Thee are many varieties of bottled honey and honey products. There were many non food items with a honey or bee theme. Some for kids, some for any age, some for decor. The place is bright and cheery and staff there to help. Customers were browsing through, off to a good start on a warm Friday in early summer. I'll be back again to make some food purchases and definitely some gift ideas. It's too bad my grandfather who loves lots of trinkets, sadly does not like bees! But I will find something she dies. And my husband loves honey so he'll be getting some soon. It was just too hot when I was there to carry these things all home on foot.

I especially enjoy the white raspberry, the matcha CBD, and the peppermint bark bars. (Note: If you are picking up, the factory can be a little hard to find because they don't have a big sign out. Look for the address/street number on the building.)
