I shop here all the time. Now that we are in busy Holiday season the store is packed and the…read moreshelves are getting pretty bare. They brought in checkers from Denver stores and while this store is packed full of people shopping the lines are short and fast. I had to write another review because in December I was shopping for a party. I was in line had everything I needed. Then realized I forgot ice. The clerk let me stay in line and purchase the ice without re-waiting. Robbie the checker went and got another cart for me and put all 4 bags of ice in another cart and helped me out to my car since I had two carts. He loaded all the groceries in my car for me. I offered a tip to him and he would not take it. Yes it's a busy store, the shelves sometimes get empty due to the influx of people. Every time I come to Safeway I am greeting by friendly employees. Even the pharmacy staff rocks. They always get what I need in. Once I complained about the price of the prescription and they told me what to say to get the Doctor to re-write it for brand only. Instead of $60 per month I only pay $32. I love our local Safeway and it's the employees that deserve 5 stars! I would love a Safeway gas station in the area. I also like the Just for U App that saves me money on all the items I buy regularly.

Overpriced and rude staff. Would be nice to see smiles on more than Just Allans face. Employees…read morelook very unhappy.

Very nice cozy restaurant with Michelin star type food. The rib eye steak was incredible. Negroni…read moredrink was perfect. Smoked salmon was amazing. Solid service but the place is just a little small and I can see how they get overwhelmed with customers at times. It will depend on the day but make sure to make reservations because yes, the food is that good you might be waiting. Five star food all day long the best food in Winter Park.

Look, let's be honest. There are some nice places in Grand County to grab a bite to eat. But really…read morefine dining? Not so much. The folks at the Wild Horse Inn used to run Solstice as a kinda pop-up restaurant in Fraser next to the Safeway in the winter when they weren't catering weddings and events during the summers. But then the Fanches who own Devil's Thumb bought the Inn owners out for over $3 mill a while back when they were on their way to buying up the whole county. So what happened to Solstice? Well, for a fraction of that price some sweet hard-workin' folks bought the Wild Horse catering business and . . . wait for it . . . yes . . . Solstice. Now (sweet) Sue and her partner have just started running Solstice as a full-time restaurant and boy does it rock. The place only seats around 25 people, but it'll be worth the wait (once everyone comes to understand that the place is now regularly open all the time this place is going to be jammed!). This new policy just started a couple/three weeks ago so when we came in last night the room was lightly used and we had a chance to visit with Sue, who's about one of the kindest best bartenders/servers/owners ever. We decided to make dinner out of five of their tapas offerings, starting with a super fresh and delicious salad, and followed by their smoked salmon crostini, dates with (spicy!) capicola skewers, ridiculously delicious scallops, and a really savory "burnt ends" dish of pork belly bites and crispy(!) mini-ravioli. Can't believe we had room for dessert, but the flourless chocolate tart with homemade whipped cream and raspberry preserve sauce was something we couldn't resist. (Next time I'm coming for you Mr. Key Lime pie:). All in all, a truly fine dining experience at a reasonable price point. So the bottom line is that this is great news for Grand County: the addition of a wonderful new restaurant serving really excellent food right in the heart of Fraser! 2
