I was looking to coat my flat roof because I was tired of seeing the gravel washing off after every rain storm. I wanted to find a way to seal it rather than constantly having to replace pieces of worn membrane sheets. We also had a leak in 2 different places. Saw Chris on an IG ad and decided to book an appointment. Chris responded immediately and was my main point of contact. He came over, inspected our roof and we set an appointment. The team came over and spent the whole day, preparing and applying 3 layers of white silicon. Loved that the whole roof was covered and finally sealed and reflects heat. In one day the roof was completely sealed. They came back and also fixed all of our broken tiles. Repaired the flashing which was causing water to leak into the house AND installed a new roof access hatch! They did an excellent job in preparing us for the storms to come. Love my newly sealed roof! After years of patching our flat roof, we knew it was time to look into having it completely redone. But then I saw an ad for Eco Systems and decided to give them a call. Chris came out, assessed our roof, and said we could have it resealed instead of redone. A crew came out and had our roof completely resealed in 2 days. They even had to remove a section of Spanish tile shingles, reseal underneath, add some flashing in one section where there was none (which was causing a major leak), and replace/re-lay the tile. The roof was power washed before the new sealant was added. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the 20 year product warranty. Would recommend this company. We had our first rain since the roof was resealed and it was the first time in a few years I wasn't worried. read more

I'm still finding old parts of shingles and nails from when they replaced my roof. I also just realized I paid I think like $1000 to replace the fascia for the front of the house only for it to be covered up by a massive gutter that was bent by their employees when installing it. I remember the guy asking me about it and when he pointed it out, I was able to see what he was referring to, but had I known the rain gutters they were going to poorly install would cover them, I would have never spent the money. The reality is, this construction company will just start a new business under a new name or a new city and screw over thousands of humans while making tons of money off their customers. The whole system is corrupt and needs to laws and regulations set, like providing a transparent invoice for services. read more

Christopher Lennon from ECO Systems or ECO Roof Solar located in Santa Monica, CA, gave me an estimate to finish the roof, Gutter, rafters, racier board and the skylights to be installed. The man does not retain what he communicates with each customer's as he is too busy taking too many jobs and not focusing on few to deliver what he agreed to deliver in his proposal. At the beginning, he seems to be very nice but always rushing, but a good communicator to win the business. He started roof work for me on 4 Dec 2025. It should have been finished all work in 5-7 days per him. Understand, due to rain and some issues, it may take 2 weeks. I live in East Coast, I asked him how many days it will take so I can be there to manage my project as it is costing me a lot. The roof took about 3 weeks as the lousy work was done, the nails showing in my ceiling, painted ceiling with different color while paint, rotten rafters and wood changed and not painted as agreed upon. After many emails and chat messages, he sends someone to my house without my approval and the worst thing, my gates were locked, how in the world his personnel went in my back yard. The new black gutters have whit paint on it now. I have sent him many pictures and videos of poor workmanship. He will NOT respond to my messages for few days or completely ignore my messages. To date all work is not finished. I have given him whole month of January, 2026 still no resolution. He even took more money from me and override the contract payment schedule. I have lost rent from December to present as the safety of my tenants are extremely important to me. Eco Roofing, Inc ---do not Use them, if you do, please watch out for the mind games, financial loss, emotional stress by not having the work done on time, and fake promises delivered. I even have to clean the first and mess that was left behind. I do have many pictures and videos that I can share. The reason for 1 star is because I have lost estimating 30K plus in rent, work not completed, skylights ordered wrong and late and he had to reorder it and got installed on 23 Jan 2026, that was not completed, I had someone else correct the installation. Waste of my time with all these emails and text messages and the frustration he had laid on me since I live in east coast. I was in LA whole month of December for him to finish the work. ECO Systems did 3 roofs for us. I can't understand these negative reviews! Hard to believe but I guess that's just them. As for me, let's just saying that if they would allow me give them ten stars, I would!!! Chris was very professional and courteous. He always went out of his ways to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. I have never ever met a company that I couldn't find anything negative to point out. From start to finish, Chris did it with such dignity. He even gave my tenant extra money because he felt he inconvenienced them. Who would do that????? HE DID!!!! And I was so grateful for that. Would not recommend these people. Had an appointment set with them and they confirmed it via text and email at least 4 times. They never showed up to the appointment. When calling the number it's an automatic answering service that only states the phone number and NOT the name of the business. Text message is also automatic and no human answers it. When someone finally calls back after 3 hours the gentleman just says he did not have an address or an appointment. Wow! 4 communications from them confirming and no appointment? That's just a joke. Does not seem like a legitimate business or if it is, they need to get their act together. I would not recommend them based on poor customer service. read more

Reroofing the house was a pleasant experience. We were very impressed by their professionalism, the work, attention to details, ethics, punctuality, respect for our property and the clean up afterwards. They did everything they said they would do. The job was finished at the time they said it would be done. We were so happy with them, that we decided to have the gutters done as well. The gutters were custom cut to fit the house. The new roof and gutters look beautiful. An outstanding job all the way around. A fifty (50) year warranty is something I have never heard of. During a quoted "Free Estimate", EcoSystems, which also goes by Eco Roof & Solar, License #1062964, from Santa Monica, CA arrived at my house with an already purchased city permit, along with the estimate. Chris Lennon, the EcoSystems representative, insisted I sign the estimate/contract that day. I let him know I needed time to review the estimate/contract thoroughly, before I would be making any decisions with regards to such an expensive and significant project. After review, I contacted Chris Lennon and let him know that I needed a more detailed contract, including referenced warranties, listed included materials, all services that would be included, and an addendum that he and I both discussed. Chris agreed, but these referenced materials and addendum were never added to the contract. Not one change, after our discussion was made to the original contract. Upon Chris' failure to provide me with a complete contract, I ended the prospective business conversations, which never progressed beyond the free estimate/prospective contract discussions. EcoSystems, which is also known by Eco Roof & Solar has now had the audacity to bill me for that city permit, that was purchased, without my knowledge, without my approval and without a signed contract. It is absolutely illegal for a company to spend my money, without my knowledge, my agreement and without a signed contract specifying has been been authorized for that company to do, which in this case, is absolutely nothing. This is exactly what EcoSystems is attempting to do. Be very, very careful working with this company. There will be verbal promised made, but never fulfilled. There will be tactics made to inappropriately bind you into a contract without any agreements ever being finalized. BEWARE read more
