I hired another carpet company to stretch my carpet to fix some fraying on the transition from the floor to the carpet. After the work was complete (30 to 40 minutes), it looked okay, but I was busy enjoying some downtime due to three 70 hour weeks prior. I was not the best fix I seen, but based on the angle I did not realize the binder bar was broken/lifted. My wife immediately noted the bar when she got home and after one night the carpet pulled back and looked like this. It looked worse than the initial repair and I was getting flack from them that I approved it. Yes , I did, but whatever happened to quality and pride in your work. It was not done correctly and therfore the rug pulled pack. They showed up and I was firm that it should have been fixed correctly for the 30 minutes and $300 that I was charged. The technician went back to his shop to find a binder bar with a built in tact strip. I get a call from a Supervisor saying they can't fix it and we go back and forth. He agreed to give my money back and I was happy. I canceled my carpet cleaning because of lack of quality and he was not happy. He promptly ended the call and never gave me my money back. I will be filing a compliant with Better Business Bureau. After, this I hired Eco Pro Cleaning Solutions which fixed my problem. He was hesitant and cautious in which I could understand due to the extensive damage. He assessed the problem, found the fault with initial installation, removed the tact strip, and replaced it with a binding bar with a built in tact strip. We had an area rug that was waaaaaaaay past due for cleaning. Lukas was prompt with messaging a quote and showed up on time to clean it. Once he saw the state of grossness, he asked if I minded if he took it with him to clean. A week and a half later (with a holiday weekend in between) he contacted me to schedule drop off, called on his way and showed up on time again, and the rug looks looks fantastic!
